항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)
6) [2016 MLB TOUR] LA 에인절스 vs 텍사스 레인저스 경기 (9/19 Game : LA Angels vs Texas Rangers)
[9/19 Walk-off game]
이 다음날 바로 마이애미로 이동하는 만큼 9/19 경기가 내가 볼 수 있었던 텍사스 레인저스 정규시즌 마지막 경기였고, 포스트시즌 때 다시 돌아올 것이긴 했지만 왠지 모르게 서운한 감정이 들었다. 내 응원팀이라 그런 것도 있었겠지만 아무래도 우리 노마가 눈에 밟혀서 그랬겠지...... ㅎ
어쨌든 이 경기는 승리해서 정말 다행이었고, 워크오프 경기를 봐서 마지막까지 재미난 시간을 보낼 수 있었던 것 같다.
(The game on September 19 was last game of regular season of Texas Rangers that I could directly watch as going to Miami next day, even though I came back here, again in postseason, I felt sad somehow. It would be so as my supporting team, maybe I was haunted by the image of Nomar...... >.<
Anyway this game won, so I was so glad, I thought I spent happy time to the end so I watched walk-off game.)

사실 내가 가장 좋아하는 경기는 팽팽한 투수전 끝에 승리하는 경기이다. 왜냐하면 팽팽한 투수전 그 안에는 투수들의 엄청난 투구 내용이 있고, 좋은 호수비도 많이 나오며 어렵게 승부가 갈라지는 득점 상황의 그 순간 묘미는 느껴보지 않은 사람은 알 수 없을 것이다. 이 날이 바로 그런 경기를 한 날이었다.
이 날 레인저스 선발투수는 마틴 페레즈였고, 에인절스 선발투수는 줄리어스 사신이었다.
마틴도 재작년에 토미존 수술을 받았고, 재활 후 작년 중반에 다시 복귀했는데 아직 그 이전의 모습으로 회복을 못한 것 같다는 생각이 들었다. 원래 컨트롤이 크게 좋은 선수는 아니었고, 그라운드 볼러라는 점도 있지만 출루를 더 많이 허용한다는 느낌이 들었고, 집중타를 많이 맞는 모습을 많이 보였다. 하지만 이 날은 7이닝동안 4안타 2실점으로 좋은 투구를 해줬다.
그 다음으로 맷 부시가 나와 8회를 잘 막아주었고, 클로저 샘 다이슨이 무사히 세이브를 올리며 팀이 승리할 수 있는 발판을 마련해주었다.
(My favorite game is victorious game to the end in tight pitchers' match. Because the inside of the tight pitchers' match has great pitch of pitchers and there are a lot of good defense, person who hasn't felt the moment's charm of score situation which hardly victory determines won't know. this was just a day that did game like that.
Starting pitcher was Martin Perez in Texas Rangers and was Jhoulys Chacin in LA Angels in this day.
Martin underwent Tommy John Surgery last year and returned in the middle of last year after rehab, but I thought he didn't still recover to the pitch before surgery. Naturally he wasn't bigly good about control and was ground baller, however I felt to allow on-base much more and hit intensive base hit a lot. However he recorded 4 hit 2 run for 7 inning and pitched very good.
Matt Bush took the mound and prevented in the eighth inning well in the next, closer Sam Dyson safety recorded a save and provided toehold which team can win.)

더더욱 기뻤던 건 내가 이뻐하는 노마 마자라가 19호 홈런을 기록하며 팀의 첫 득점을 올렸다는 사실이었다. 정호는 작년부터 올해까지 많은 경기를 보러 다녔어도 내가 간 날 홈런을 친 적이 없는데 내 존재를 모르긴 하겠다만 그래도 노마는 내가 보러 간 4경기만에 홈런을 쳐줬고, 20호 홈런에서 단 한 개만을 남겨뒀었다. 내가 다른 도시로 여행갔던 날에 노마가 20호 홈런을 기록했는데 올해 전체적으로 홈런이 많이 나왔다고 해도 21살의 어린 선수가 데뷔 첫 해에 20홈런을 기록했다는 건 상당한 의미가 있다고 보여진다. 처음부터 파워를 인정받은 아이이긴 하지만 아직은 그 파워를 다 보여주고 있지 못한 상태이니 말이다.
이 날 레인저스 타자들이 딱 3점을 내고 이겼는데 노마 마자라와 엘비스 앤드루스의 솔로 홈런, 이안 데스몬드의 워크오프 안타가 그것이었다. 정말 나에게 최고의 날이 아니었나 싶다!!!
(The pleased reason more and more was a fact that Nomar Mazara who I like so much hit the 19th home-run and recorded the first run of team. Even though I toured to watch many games for Kang since last year, he hasn't hit home-run on the day that I went, but even if Nomar doesn't know me, he hit a home-run in four games that I went to watch, he remained only one home-run until the 20th home-run. When I went to tour to another city, he recorded the 20th home-run, even if there was a lot of home-run on the whole this season, the part that young player of 21 years old recorded 20 home-run in his debut season has considerable meaning. He accepted about power potantial from the first, but it's still an age that can't all show the power.
Rangers' batters got only 3 runs and won in this day, solo homer of Nomar Mazara and Elvis Andrus and walk-off hit of Ian Desmond was the thing. I thought it was the best day to me!!!)

중간에 비가 와서 경기가 잠시 중단이 되었다. 여행 기간이 길었던만큼 이런 날이 올 줄은 예상하고 있었지만 이렇게 빨리 올 줄은 몰랐다. 그래도 메이저리그는 웬만한 비가 와도 새벽까지 기다려서라도 경기를 마치기 때문에 뭔가 새로운 경험을 할 수 있을지에 대한 기대도 좀 했던 것 같다. 하지만 경기 진행이 빠른 날이었기에 그닥 오래 걸리지는 않았다. 하긴 이 때 다음날이 마이애미로 이동하는 날이었는데 늦은 새벽까지 했었다면 참 곤란했을 듯......
(It was raining in the middle of game, so game delayed for a minute. I expected to come a situation like this day, but I had no idea this day quickly came. Anyway even if it's raining pretty much, it waits to daybreak and finish a game in MLB, so I thought I expected about doing a something new experience a little. But game didn't take so long time cause game's speed was fast. Honestly I had to move to Miami in the next day, so if game would play to late daybreak, it would be embarrassing......)

작년에 워싱턴 내셔널스에 있었던 유넬 에스코바가 트레이드 되어 올해는 에인절스 3루수로 뛰었고, 올 시즌도 괜찮은 성적을 기록해줬다. OPS는 낮지만 원래 유격수였으며 클래식 기록은 괜찮고, 수비도 좋은 선수라 팀 입장에서는 저비용 고효율의 선수가 아닌가 싶다. 시몬스도 작년 애틀랜타 브레이브스에 있다가 트레이드 되었는데 부상이 좀 있었어서 그렇지, 올해도 여전히 좋은 수비를 보여줬다.
마이크 트라웃은 뭐 말이 필요없는 엄청난 선수이다. 아마 MLB 전체 통틀어 최고의 선수일 것이다. 다른 좋은 선수들도 있지만 25살의 어린 나이임에도 불구하고 벌써 풀타임 5시즌을 뛰었고, 엄청난 타격 실력과 파워, 팀에 대한 기여도, 팬 서비스 모두 최고이고, 중견수로서 좋은 수비를 보여준다는 점은 덤이다. 2014년에 에인절스와 144.5M달러의 6년 연장 계약을 체결해서 FA가 되려면 아직 4년이나 남았는데 대략 연평균 24M 달러라... 정말 대단한 선수임에 분명해보이며 앞으로도 꾸준히 유지될 것 같다. 우리 노마가 딱 트라웃처럼 해야 하는데!!!
(Yunel Escobar who belonged to Washington Nationals last year was traded and played third baseman of Angels this year, recorded good grade also this season. He recorded low OPS, but he was a short stop and had good classic stat, I think he is a player of low expenses and high efficiency in view of the team with good defense. Simons was in Atlanta Braves last year and was traded, had injury, but still showed great defense this year.
Mike Trout's a tremendous player without another word. Maybe he will be the best player in whole of MLB. Of course, there are lots of another good players, he already ran full-time 5 season even though he's young of 25 years old and great batting skill and power and contribution about team and fan service all are the best, showed a good defense as center fielder in addition. He agreed a 6 years extension contract of 144.5M dollars with Angels in 2014, so he still remains 4 years to becoming FA, it's about 24M dollars the average annual... I'm sure he is a great player and it will continuously maintain this grade. I wish Nomar becomes a player like Trout!!!)

장난꾸러기 레인저스 캡틴... 물론 다른 팀의 마스코트들도 익살맞고 재미있지만 얘는 조금 더 짖궂은 것 같은 느낌이다. 마치 아이들이 의도하지 않은 짖궂은 장난을 치는 것처럼 그 장난의 강도가 조금 더 높다. 뭐 그렇다고 무례할 정도까지는 아니고......
(Mischievous boy Rangers captain... Of course, the other team's mascots are comical and funny, but he feels mischievous a little more. The fun's strength is higher as children carries a unintended practical joke. but It isn't rude......)
[호텔 슬립 인 알링턴 식스플래그(Hotel Sleep Inn Arlington Six Flags)]
알링턴에서 묵었던 호텔로 야구장에서 도보 23분 거리에 있는 곳이고, 놀이공원인 식스 플래그 근처에 있다. 내가 이 호텔 예약한 당시 아마 하루에 우리나라 돈으로 8만원대였던 걸로 기억하는데 봉사료까지 모두 포함한 금액이니 미국 호텔 가격대치고는 저렴한 편이었다. 아마 이 곳이 특별히 관광지가 아니라서 그런 것 같은데 가격 대비해서 시설은 꽤 괜찮았던 것 같다. 방 안에 전자렌지와 커피포트와 냉장고까지 다 있었다. 미국 호텔은 냉장고 없는 곳도 허다해서......
(This place's a hotel staying in Arlington and 23 minutes distance by walk from ball park, locates near the Six Flags being amusement park. I remember 80,000s won per day when I reserve this hotel, it's amount including all service fee and etc, so it was cheap expenses in comparison with USA hotel's expense. Maybe this city isn't a special tourist attractions, it's so, facilities was a pretty good. There were all a microwave and a coffeepot and a refrigerator in room. So many hotels's rooms don't have a refrigerator......)
내가 볼 수 있었던 알링턴에서의 정규시즌 마지막 경기를 행복한 기분으로 본 후 이 날 하루를 마무리했다. 포스트시즌 때 다시 돌아올 것이었기에 그나마 가벼운 마음으로 다음 장소를 이동할 수 있었던 것 같다.
(I finished the day after watching the last regular season's game of Arlington where I could see. I think I could move to the next place to have a light mind cause I came back this place again in postseason.)
