항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)
3) [2016 MLB TOUR] 피츠버그 파이어리츠 vs 필라델피아 필리스 경기 (9/14 ~ 15 Game : Pittsburgh Pirates vs Philadelphia Phillies)
오랜만에 직관하게 된 MLB 첫 경기는 시티즌스 뱅크 파크에서 열렸던 피츠버그 파이어리츠와 필라델피아 필리스 경기였다. 일찍 가서 여유롭게 경기를 봤으면 더 좋았겠지만 '인천공항-디트로이트 웨인 카운티 공항-필라델피아 국제공항' 까지의 긴 여정과 함께 호텔가는 길까지 헤매면서 대략 저녁 6시 가까이 되어 체크인을 했던 것 같다. 너무너무 지쳐서 조금 쉬다가 나가느라 야구장에 대충 3회초 시작할 때쯤 도착했었을 것이다.
(MLB first game watching after a long time was a game of Pittsburgh Pirates vs Philadelphia Phillies which played at Citizens Bank Park. If it went to ball park and leisurely watched game, I would be better, but I wandered the way of my hotel with long itinerary of 'Incheon Intl' Airport-Detroit Wayne County Intl' Airport-Philadelphia Intl' Airport' and checked in hotel shortly before 6pm. I remember I arrive about the top of third at ball park so I'm so tired and go out after break time.)

9/14 경기의 벅스 선발투수는 스티븐 브롤트, 필리스의 선발투수는 제이크 톰슨이었으며 두 선수 모두 올해 데뷔한 루키이다. 두 팀 모두 선발투수 전력이 약해서 어린 투수들이 나올 기회가 많았던 것 같고, 아직 22살인 톰슨이나 24살인 브롤트 모두 어린만큼 가능성을 보여주지 않았나 싶다.
또한 이 날은 정호가 선발로 출전하지 않고 데이빗 프리즈가 주전 3루수로 출전했다. 정호는 전년도에 당한 큰 부상으로 인해 2016시즌동안 '2~3경기 출전-하루 휴식' 으로 출전해서 이 날은 휴식일이었을 것이다. 2011 월드시리즈 당시 카즈 소속이었던 데이빗 프리즈의 맹활약 때문에 내 응원팀이 준우승에 머물렀는데 그런 선수가 벅스에 와서 처음에는 느낌이 좀 이상했던 것 같다. 게다가 벅스 팬 입장에서도 지구 라이벌인 카즈 선수가 온 거라서 더 그런 것 같고... ㅎ
(Bucs' starting pitcher was Steven Brault and Phillies' starting pitcher was Jake Thompson on September 14, all both players are rookie that makes them debut. I thought young pitchers had many opportunity to play cause starting both teams were weak about starting pitchers' strength, all Thompson of 22 years and Brault of 24 years showed possibility as young.
Also Kang wasn't in the starting line up today, David Freese played starting third baseman. Kang was a off day cause he has some schedule 'playing 2 to 3 games-a off day' for whole season in 2016 by big injury last year. In 2011 world series, my supporting team finished second place due to remarkable activities of David Fresse who belonged to St. Louis Cardinals, however I felt confusing at first cause he came to Bucs. Besides it was so because Cards player being division's rival came to Bucs from Bucs fan's viewpoint...)

이 날은 브롤트가 좀 부진했어서 4회 1아웃을 남겨두고 내려가면서 불펜이 좀 일찍 가동했다. 원포인트로 잭 필립스가 나와 일단 4회를 막은 후 드류 허치슨이 2이닝을 던졌는데 홈런을 포함하여 4안타 1실점으로 좀 아쉬운 기록을 남겼다. 마지막으로 웨이드 르블랑이 2이닝 2안타 3삼진 무실점으로 경기를 마무리했다.
(Brault was substituted to remain 1 out in the fourth so it wasn't good and bullpen operated in the early time in this day. Drew Hutchison pitched 2 inning and remained a little not good record of 4 hit and 1 run with homer after Zack Phillips being one point to finish in the fourth inning. Wade LeBlanc finished a game of 2 hit and 3 strike out for 2 inning at last.)

내가 들어갔을 때 이미 실점을 한 상태였고 4회에 앤드류 매커친의 솔로 홈런과 션 로드리게즈의 희생 플라이로 2점을 쫓아갔지만 이게 끝이었다. 특히 이 당시에도 벅스 같은 경우는 내셔널리그 와일드카드 경쟁을 한창하고 있었으나, 필리스에게 발목을 잡혔다. 솔직히 시즌 초반부터 벅스가 선발투수 쪽이 너무 약해서 포스트시즌 진출이 어려울거라 예상은 했었고, 탈락한 다른 팀과 비슷하게 부상 선수도 많았다.
(Bucs already allows runs when I entered into ball park and trailed 2 runs by Solo homer of Andrew McCutchen and Sacrifice fly of Sean Rodriguez, but this was it. Especially Bucs was competing for National League's wild card at the full, unfortunately they were caught by Phillies. Honestly I expected it was difficult to get to postseason so starting pitchers were so weak, there were many players who were injured like failed another teams.)
그래도 오랜만에 벅스 경기를 봐서 좋았고, 평소에 호감을 가지고 있던 조디를 다시 봐서 더 좋았다. 올해 중후반까지는 나름 타격에서 나쁘지 않았었는데 안타깝게 수비 수치가 작년에 비해 안좋아졌다. 매년 좋을 수는 없을테니 내년에 다시 좋아지기를 기대해본다.
다만, 아마도 올해 많이 힘들었을 것이다. 경기를 많이 출전한 것은 좋았을텐데 부상자가 많아 백업 선수들도 다 받춰줄 수가 없었던 상황이라 너무 많은 경기를 나왔고 그것이 후반에 체력을 저하시켜 부상으로 온 것 같았다. 가장 체력 소모가 많은 유격수니까.....
(Anyway I was good so I watched Bucs game after a long time and I was happy so I could see Jordy Mercer who I had a good feeling, again. He wasn't bad in batting until the middle-latter of this season, unfortunately defense stat was getting worse comparing with last year. It can't be good work every year, so I hope he will be getting better next season, again.
But maybe he would be so tough this year. He would be good about playing many games, he played so much because backup players also had to play so much due to many players to DL, I though that made to decrease his stamina in the latter and was brought injury. He's a shortstop that consumes strength a lot......)

9/15은 인디펜던스 홀에 다녀온 후 숙소에서 쉬다가 훈련을 보기 위해 일찌감치 야구장으로 출발했다. 원래 훈련을 보는 것을 좋아하기도 하고 더 다양한 사진을 찍고 싶은 마음에 웬만하면 입장 시간에 맞춰 경기장을 가게 되는데 시즌 후반이라 그랬는지 정호의 훈련 모습은 볼 수 없었던 대신 다른 벅스 선수들 훈련을 볼 수 있었다.
이 날 작년에 은퇴했던 A.J. 버넷이 이 곳을 방문해서 행복한 표정으로 벅스 선수들과 이야기하는 모습을 볼 수 있었는데 나중에 MLB TV로 이 경기를 살짝 돌려보니 경기 중에 매커친과 바디 랭귀지를 주고 받으며 재밌는 장면을 연출했던 것 같다.
(I rested at my hotel and leave to ball park in early time for watching practice after going Independence Hall on September, 15. I like watching practice and try to go to ball park on entrance time so I want to take some pictures, I couldn't watch Kang's practice whether it was the end of season, but I could see another players' practice.
I could see that A.J. Burnett who retired last year visited this place and happily talked to Bucs' players, I lightly watched this game by MLB TV later, it looks like that he talked to use body language with McCutchen and showed funny scene in playing game.)
작년 스프링 트레이닝 전 미니 캠프 때 본 후 오랜만에 본 타일러 글래스노는 앞날이 창창한 23살의 영건이다. 3년 연속 마이너리그 올스타 선수였고, 2014년에 코치들이 선정한 마이너리그 최고 선발투수였다. 올해 트리플 A에서 뛰다가 중간에 콜업되었으나 부상 등 여러 이유로 인해 실질적으로 9월부터 등판 기회를 잡았다.
참 이 아이는 볼 때마다 점점 더 멋있어지는 것 같다. 원래 야구 선수는 야구를 잘해야 한다고 생각하는지라 얼굴을 잘 안 보기는 하는데 이 친구는 보면 볼수록 잘생겼다는 생각이 드는 것이 유일하게 얼굴만 봐도 호감간다고 할까. 게다가 이 친구가 어디까지 성장할 수 있을지 알 수 없는 상태라 더 기대가 된다.
(Tyler Glasonw who could see after a long time when I saw mini camp before spring training last year is a promising young gun of 23 years old. He was an all star 3 years consecutive in MiLB and the best starting pitcher of MiLB select staffs in 2014. He played in Triple A and called up in the middle this season, but he actually took pitching opportunity from September due to some reasons of injury and etc.
I think he's getting more wonderful whenever I see. I don't pay attention to mask cause I'm thinking baseball player have to work baseball well, but do I have a good feeling only mask so the more I see him, I think he's wonderful... Besides I expect more cause I have no idea how much he can develop.)

이 날 벅스 선발투수였던 채드 쿨은 6이닝동안 4피안타 5삼진 2실점을 기록하며 승리투수가 되었고, 그 이후를 후안 니카시오-안토니오 바스타도-제러드 휴즈가 1이닝씩 잘 던지며 무실점으로 마무리했다.
필리스 선발투수였던 제러드 아익카프(필리스 중계진은 발음을 이렇게 하는 듯...)는 나름 6.2이닝동안 던져주긴 했는데 7회에 나온 3루수 에러로 조디 머서에게 쓰리런을 맞으며 6실점 3자책점을 기록했다. 이제보니 이 선수 작년 해멀스 트레이드 때 내 응원팀에서 보낸 선수였구나... 어쩐지 뭔가 이름이 낯이 익다 했다.

Jared Eickhoff(Phillies' broadcasting casters pronounce like this...) who was Phillies' starting pitcher pitched for 6.2 inning, but he was hit 3 runs homer from Jordy Mercer due to third baseman's error in the top of seventh and recorded 6 runs and 3 earned run. Now I come to think of it, he was in my supporting team until before Cole Hamels' trading last year... Somehow, I felt familiar something his name.}

이 날은 벅스가 1회 리드오프 홈런을 친 존 제이소부터 시작해서 이 날 2개의 홈런을 친 앤드류 매커친, 션 로드리게즈의 솔로 홈런, 그리고 조디 머서의 쓰리런에 힙입어 필리스를 15대 2로 제압하며 와일드 카드 경쟁을 계속 이어나갔다.
매커친이 올해 공수 양면으로 이름값에 비해서 좀 부진하긴 했지만 그래도 20개 넘는 홈런을 기록했고 거의 부상없이 많은 경기를 출전했다. 올해 계약 기간이 얼마 남지 않은 매커친 트레이드 이야기가 많이 나오고 있고, 많은 선수들이 트레이드로 팀이 바뀌지만 그래도 매커친만큼은 피츠버그 파이어리츠의 선수로 남아주는 게 어떨까 싶은 생각이 많이 든다. 요즘 기사 나오는 거 보면 매커친도 팀에 대한 애정이 큰 것 같고......

Cutch slumped a little in comparison with name in the both sides of offense and defense this year, but hit over 20 homer and played a lot of games without injury. There are many stories about trade of McCutchen who doesn't remain the term of a contract this year and many players move to another team by trade, but I think good Cutch plays as Pittsburgh Pirates' player to the end. It seems he has a lot of affection for team in the news......)

필라델피아 필리스의 마스코트 피네틱은 아마 MLB에서 가장 유명할 것이다. MLB를 잘 보지 않았을 때의 나도 이 마스코트는 낯익었고, 지금은 필리스의 가장 유명인사일지도 모른다. 좋은 선수들이 너무 많이 떠났기 때문에...... 여러가지 제스처나 하는 행동도 매우 재미있는 친구이다.
다른 팀과 달리 필리스는 레이스가 아닌 볼링처럼 저 노란 아이를 굴려서 쓰러지지 않은 아이가 이기는 게임인 것 같다. 그 쓰러지지 않은 아이의 번호나 기호를 뽑은 구역이나 팬들이 상품을 받을 수 있을 것이다. 기억은 잘 안 나지만 다른 팀 레이스도 이기는 마스코트에 해당하는 구역에 앉은 팬들이 상품을 받는 것이라서......
(Maybe Phanatic of Philadelphia Phillies' mascot is the most famous in MLB. I felt familiar this mascot when I didn't watch MLB and perhaps it will be the famous existence of Phillies for now. Because good players leaved to the other team a lot...... It's a buddy that some gesture or behavior is very funny.
I think mascot not falling when yellow buddy rolls like bowling win in Phillies' team unlike the other team. The section or fans that chooses number or mark of mascot not falling will be able to gift. I don't remember, but another teams' racing is what fans sitting on winning mascot can get gift......)
내 주위에 앉았던 어느 벅스 팬분이 높게 떠 있던 달도 내 카메라로 찍을 수 있냐고 말씀하셔서 한번 찍어봤는데 생각보다 잘 나온 것 같다. 그 분이 말씀하시지 않았으면 내가 이런 사진을 찍을 수 없었을 것 같다. 야구를 포함하여 주위 사진들도 다양하게 담아봐야 하는데 나도 가끔은 좀 갇혀있다는 생각이 들기도 했다.
사진 뿐만이 아니라 나도 내 인생을 살아가면서 폐쇄적인 부분이 없지 않았을지도 모른다. 물론 나의 가치관과 원칙을 지키는 것도 굉장히 중요하지만 열린 마음을 통해 여러가지 교훈을 얻는 것 또한 인생에서 매우 중요한 부분인 것 같다.
(One Buds fan who sat near me said my camera can take a picture that moon to float highly, so I've taken a picture, it looks like wonderful than I think. If he didn't say, I wouldn't take like this picture. I should take a picture another subject's stuff with baseball, I though I was sometimes locked in something.
I'm living my life including photograph and maybe it has unsociable part. Of course, keeping my values and principle is great important, also I think learning some lesson is very important part according to open mind.)
