항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)

[9/16 워크오프(Walk-off on Sep, 16]
드디어 내 응원팀의 첫 경기를 보는 순간, 감동까지는 아니었지만 뭔가 해야할 일을 해낸 것 같은 기분이 들었던 것 같다. 몇 년 전부터 가보려고 생각해 왔었는데 이제서야 왔다는 것이 약간 아쉽기도 했고, 뭔지 모를 미안함도 들었던 것이다. 뭐 내가 이렇게 느낀다고 한들 미안함의 대상은 전혀 신경쓰지 않겠지만 말이다.
내가 미국에 있었던 기간, 텍사스 레인저스의 경기 일정이 대부분 홈경기였기에 이 부분도 많이 아쉽긴 했다. 입장 시간이 경기 시작 1시간 30분 전이기 때문에 홈경기에서 볼 수 있는 부분이 한정적이고, 사인을 받을 수 있는 기회도 별로 없다. 기껏해야 경기 시작 바로 직전에 워밍업할 때인데 그 때는 경기 준비에 집중하는 선수가 훨씬 더 많은 것 같아서 그런 선수들을 방해하기도 좀 미안하다. 어찌되었든 야구 선수에게 가장 중요한 것은 야구이고, 그것을 잘해야 팀이 더 많이 이길 수 있으니까......
(Finally the moment watching my supporting team's first game, it wasn't touching, but I felt like something doing work accomplished. I was thinking I try to go to here from before several years, I was sorry what I lately came to here a little and regret that I can't know. Even though I feel like this, main agent of the regret won't concern at all.
Texas Rangers' game schedule was almost home in the period that I stayed in USA, so I felt something wanting about this part. The part that it can see in home game is limitative cause entrance time's before 1.5 hours of game opening, there isn't almost opportunity to get autograph. There's the time of warming up nearly opening game at the best, but I think there are a lot of players who concentrate to prepare about game, so I think I'm sorry to interrupt like that players. Anyway the most important thing to baseball player is baseball and they have to be good play and team can win much more......)

9/16 레인저스 선발투수는 콜 해멀스였고, 오클랜드 선발투수는 켄달 그레이브먼이었다. 오클랜드는 내 관심팀이 아니므로 레인저스만 보면, 콜 해멀스가 이 날 좋지 않은 투구를 했다. 6이닝동안 2개의 홈런을 포함하여 6실점이나 했고, 전반적으로 컨트롤이 좋지 않은 모습이었다. 하지만 작년 트레이드 이후 팀의 1선발이란 직책을 맡다보니 많은 경기를 나왔고, 너무 많은 투구수를 기록하지 않았나 싶은 생각이 들었다. 중반까지는 투구 내용이 좋았으나, 후반 들어서 급격히 나빠진 투구 내용의 원인은 대부분 체력적인 이유일 것이다. 게다가 텍사스는 전통적으로 매우 무더운 곳이기 때문에 체력 관리를 잘해줘야 한다고 본다.
그 다음을 키오니 켈라-맷 부시-샘 다이슨이 1이닝씩 맡아 무실점으로 막아준 것이 원동력이 되어 이 날 경기를 가져올 수 있었다. 켈라가 계속 안 좋다가 후반부터 구위나 컨트롤 모두 좋아지기 시작했던 것 같은데 이 친구도 항상 부상이 문제라 앞으로는 아프지 않았으면 좋겠다. 아프지만 않으면 최고의 릴리프가 될 수 있을텐데......
(Rangers' starting pitcher was Cole Hamels and Oakland's starting pitcher was Kendall Graveman on Sep, 16. Seeing rangers so I'm not interested in Oakland Athletics, Cole Hamels wasn't good pitch this day. He recorded 6 runs with 2 homers for 6 inning, generally pitch's control wasn't good. But he assumes a duty being team's ace since traded last year, he played many games, I thought he pitched many pitch count. His pitch's content was good until the middle of season, however the reason of pitch content getting worse quickly in the end of season will almost be a physical reason. Besides I think it has to manage about physical part because Texas is traditionally so hot.
Keone Kela-Matt Bush-Sam Dyson pitched at each 1 inning in the next and prevented no points, this was driving force and could take winning game. I thought Kela wasn't continuously good, ball power or control all started to get better from the end of season, I hope he won't sick in the future, so he almost has injury. If he hasn't injury, he'll be the best relief......)

이 날 타자들은 전체적으로 잘했던 것 같다. 초반에 점수가 안 나온 것이 좀 답답해서 그렇지 중반부터 따라가는 점수들이 나왔고, 후반에는 짜릿한 워크오프 안타까지 나와서 내 응원팀 첫 직관 경기가 워크오프 경기였다는 것에는 정말 큰 감동을 받았다. 원래 결과보다 과정이 더 중요하다고 생각하는 주의라 이긴다고 무조건 좋아하지는 않는데 이 날은 타자들이 적시에 중요한 역할들을 했다.
이 날 벨트란과 오도어, 미치, 노마까지 이 네 선수는 멀티 히트를 기록했고, 1안타를 친 나머지 선수들은 모두 타점을 올려주는 등 모두 다 역할들을 다 잘해낸 것 같다.
(I thought Batters were good on the whole this day. I was pent-up no points in the early game, it had runs to follow from the middle game, it had thrilling walk-off hit in the end of game, so I was pretty impressive that the first game which I directly watched of my supporting team was a walk-off game. I naturally have thinking that process is more important than result, so I don't unconditional like even if it wins, batters were faithful to their role in the important moment this day.
Four players of Carlos Beltran and Rougned Odor and Mitch Moreland and Nomar Mazara recorded multi-hit this day, the extra player to hit 1 single all recorded RBI, every hitters played good well. )

9/17 이 날 레인저스 선발투수는 다르빗슈, 오클랜드 선발투수는 라울 알칸트라였다. 토미존 수술을 하면서 1년 6개월의 재활 과정을 거친 다르빗슈는 올시즌 중간에 팀의 2선발로 복귀하였는데 패스트볼 구속은 좋아진 대신 주무기였던 슬라이더의 컨트롤에는 어려움을 겪었다. 토미존 수술 이후 패스트볼 구속이 좋아진 선수가 꽤 있다고 하는데 앞으로 어떻게 될지는 지켜봐야 할 것 같다. 물론 이 날은 그런 것보다 원래 다르빗슈가 오클랜드에게 약한데 그런 심리적인 부분이 없지는 않았을 것 같다. 나도 오클랜드 전에 잘 던진 다르빗슈를 별로 본 적이 없으니까......
다르빗슈가 5이닝을 겨우 막고 내려간 후 요한더 멘데즈-다리오 알바레즈-호세 르클럭이 후속 실점을 하면서 경기를 그렇게 패했다. 멘데즈와 알바레즈, 르클럭 모두 어린 선수들이고 아직은 빅리그 경험이 별로 없는 선수들이기 때문에 이 경험들이 앞으로 큰 자산이 되어주리라 믿는다.
(Rangers' starting pitcher was Darvish Yu and Oakland's starting pitcher was Raul Alcantara on sep, 17. Darvish who underwent Tommy John Surgery and went through rehab process of 18 months returned to the 2 starting pitcher of team in the middle of this season, fastball speed was getting better, but he experienced trouble about control of slider which was his main weapon. I heard there were many players who fastball speed was getting better after Tommy John Surgery, I think I observe how he pitches in the future. Of course, he wasn't naturally good to Oakland than that this day, so I thought there was a psychological part like that. I haven't almost seen Darvish who pitches good opposite the Oakland......
Yohander Mendez-Dario Alvarez-Jose Leclerc gave scores and lost game after pitching only 5 inning him. I believe these experiences become a big asset in the future cause they're all a young players and haven't big league's experience a lot.)

이 날 역시 고메즈는 홈런을 쳤고 레인저스로 온 후 제 2의 전성기를 맞은 것 같았다. 밀워키 시절 고메즈로만 돌아올 수 있다면 팀에 큰 보탬이 될텐데 이 때 그랬던 것이다. 그래도 너무 승부가 일찍 갈린 덕에 벨트레나 엘비스 등의 많은 경기를 출장한 배테랑 선수들이 교체되면서 후반에는 어린 선수들이 대거 출동하였다. 이 때 노마와 함께 이 어린 선수들이 같이 성장해서 팀의 주축이 되어준다면 얼마나 좋을까 그런 생각을 했던 것 같다.
(Gomez also hit 2-run homer in this day and I thought he was the second heyday after coming Rangers. I thought If he finds Gomez of Milwaukee Brewers' time, he will be a big help for team, this time was so. Anyway veteran players who played many games of Beltre and Elvis and etc were replaced cause match was determined in the early time, young players went to ground in force in end of the game.
I think like this this how I wish if young players with Nomar develop together and become key players.)

9/18 레인저스 선발투수는 콜비 루이스였고, 오클랜드 선발투수는 로스 뎃와일러였다. 콜비옹이 DL 후 복귀해서 오랜만에 던진 경기로 기억이 나는데 트루 에이스 당시의 모습은 아니었지만 그래도 무난히 던져줬던 것 같다. 다만 볼넷을 5개나 허용한 점이 좀 아쉬웠다고나 할까...
그 뒤를 이어 알렉스 클라우디오-키오니 켈라-제이크 디크먼-맷 부시가 던져줬는데 켈라가 추가 실점을 한 바람에 또 아깝게 패배하고 말았다. 평소에 알렉스 클라우디오를 눈여겨 보고 있었던 것이 정말 흔하지 않은 좌완 사이드암 투수이고 투구폼 과정에서 잠깐 멈추는 부분이 있어 그것이 타자들의 타이밍을 뺏는 것 같은 느낌이 들었기 때문이다. 게다가 아직 어린 24살의 선수이다. 레인저스 불펜은 현재 뿐만이 아니라 앞으로도 참 미래가 밝은 것 같다.
(Starting pitcher was Colby Lewis in Rangers and Ross Detwiler in Oakland on Sep, 18. I remembered a game that Colby pitched after a long time from returning DL, it wasn't figure of the time he pitched good balls, anyway it looked like he pitched well. But I felt something lacking the thing to give 5 base on balls...
The next time pitched Alex Claudio-Keone Kela-Jake Dickman-Matt Bush, they lost a game, again cause Kela gave runs in addition. Usual day, what I was observing Alex Claudio is really the uncommon left sidearm pitcher and the part that stops short time in pitch form's process, so I thought this deprived batters' timing. Besides he's still a young player of 24 years old. It seems Rangers' bull pen is a pretty brilliant now and in the future.)

이 날도 공격력 부진으로 경기를 내주었고, 사실 텍사스 레인저스 전력이 공수 모두 다 2%가 부족한 상황이긴 했지만 타격 쪽이 특히 더 그랬다. 물론 포스트시즌에 한해서는 이게 반대였을 수도 있지만 정규 시즌은 그랬다고 생각한다.
우리 노마도 이 날 선발로 나오지 않았고, 경기도 그닥 잘 풀리지 않아서 덕아웃에 앉아있는 선수들 구경을 좀 했는데 올해 은퇴 발표를 했던 프린스 필더가 덕아웃에 있었다. 본인이 은퇴하고 싶어서 하는 게 아니고 병원에서 거의 강제 은퇴시킨 상태라 본인도 참 많은 미련이 있었을 것 같다.
(This game also lost due to batting power's weakness, honestly Texas Rangers' strength was lacking 2% all in offense and defense, batting was especially more so. Of course, this was the opposite in only postseason, but I thought regular season was so.
Nomar didn't play as starting batter and the game wasn't good well, so I saw players sitting at dugout, Prince Fielder who announced retirement this year sat at the dugout. He didn't want to retire, it was a situation that almost made to retire in medical doctor, so I think he has lingering affection about baseball.)
