항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)
9) [2016 MLB TOUR] 워싱턴 내셔널스 vs 마이애미 말린스 경기 (9/20 ~ 21 Game : Washington Nationals vs Miami Marlins)

애초에 마이애미를 여행 일정에 넣은 이유는 관광도 관광이지만 내 세컨 응원팀인 워싱턴 내셔널스 경기를 보기 위함이었다. 이번에 처음 계획했던 여행 기간이나 나중에 더 추가된 기간 모두 공휴일을 껴서 좀 더 길게 여행할 수 있는 천재일우의 기회였기 때문에 내 응원팀들의 경기를 적절히 배분해서 보려고 했다. 그래서 다 6경기씩은 봤었고......
(The reason to put Miami in travel schedule at the first time is for watching Washington Nationals' game which is my second supporting team with sightseeing. Because travel period that I planned at first or plus period more later was all golden opportunity that can travel more with thanksgiving holiday, I tried to watch my supporting teams' games distributive properly. So I all watched at each 6 games......)

9/20 첫날 경기의 말린스 선발 투수는 호세 페르난데스였고, 내츠의 선발투수는 태너 로악이었다. 이 날은 정말 엄청난 투수전이었고 결국 스탠튼의 27호 솔로 홈런으로 승부가 갈릴 정도로 팽팽했다.
태너 로악은 7이닝동안 3피안타 1실점으로 아주 뺴어난 피칭을 했음에도 불구하고 타선 지원이 되지 않아 패전 투수의 멍에를 안았다. 내츠가 원래 선발투수진이 탄탄한 팀이긴 하지만 믿었던 스트라스버그가 부상으로 자리를 많이 비운 바람에 로악이 2선발 역할을 했다. 에이스는 당연히 맥스 셔저이고, 스트라스버그-로악-지오-로스 이런 선발진이 되어야 했는데 로스도 부상으로 자기 역할을 못해주면서 5선발은 다른 어린 선수들이 돌아가며 던지기도 했는데 포스트시즌은 올라갔지만 결국은 올해도 부상이 좀 발목을 잡은 것 같다.
(Starting pitcher was Jose Fernandez in Marlins and was Tanner Roark in Nats on sep, 20. This day was a great pitcher's match and finally it was tight as decided victory according to 27th solo homer of Giancarlo Stanton.
Even though Tanner Roark pitched great to record 3 hit 1 run in for 7 inning, he was a losing pitcher as it didn't support about batting. Nats' starting pitchers is very strong, but Roark did the second pitcher's role as Stephen Strasburg believing placed on DL. Ace is definitely Max scherzer and it had to be Stephen Strasburg-Tanner Roark-Gio Gonzalez-Joe Ross, Joe Ross didn't do the role on DL, so the fifth starting pitcher was another young pitchers who pitched by turns, Nats reached to postseason, however finally I think the problem is injury.)
호세 페르난데스는 8이닝동안 단 3안타를 맞은 반면 삼진은 12개나 잡으며 이 날 경기를 지배했다. 확실히 홈플레이트 뒤쪽 자리에서 보니 패스트볼의 구위와 슬라이더의 컨트롤이 상당했다. 리그에서 다섯 손가락 안에 드는 이런 대단한 선수의 투구를 보는 건 항상 즐거운 일이지만 5일 후 워싱턴에 있을 때 그가 보트 사고로 사망했다는 사실을 알았다.
결국 나와 정선 언니는 그의 마지막 투구 모습을 본 것이었다. 한동안 나도 충격에 휩싸여 잠시 멍해졌었고, 아직 다 꽃도 피지 못한 어린 나이에 생을 마감했다는 게 허무하고 슬펐던 것 같다. 역시 앞 일은 누구도 알 수 없다고 인생과 죽음에 대해 잠시 상념에 잠길 수 밖에 없었다.
(Jose Fernandez allowed only 3 hit for 8 inning, recorded 12 strike out on the other hand, dominated this game. Fastball's power and Slider's control was great whether I definitely watched a seat behind homeplate. Seeing great player's pitching being in the top fifth National league is always excitement, however I knew he died by boat's accident when I stayed after 5 days in Washington.
Finally I and my friend have watched his last pitching. For a while, I was shocked and zoned out for a minute, I think the thing that ends life in young age still not blooming is futile and tragic. Nobody knows in the future, I should be lost conception about life and death.)
[바다 생물 레이스(Sea creatures race)]
대서양을 끼고 있는 큰 해양도시답게 마이애미 말린스는 경기 중간에 여러 바다생물들의 탈을 뒤집어쓴 마스코트들이 경주를 한다. 아마 방식은 다른 팀과 마찬가지로 이기는 마스코트의 해당 구역에 상품을 주는 것일테고...... 파란색의 상어 이름은 밥이라고 하고, 퍼플의 문어는 훌리오, 노란색의 바위게는 엔젤, 오렌지색의 해룡은 스파이크란다. 또한 말린스의 공식 마스코트는 어류 중 새치를 본따 만들었으며 이름은 빌리이다.
(Mascots that wear costumed character of some sea creature in the middle of the game in Miami Marlins run a race as big marine city where stretches the Atlantic. Maybe the way will give some gift to winning mascot's section alike another team...... Shark of blue's name is Bob and Octopus of purple is Julio and stone crab of yellow is Angel, sea dragon of orange color is Spike. Also Marlins' official mascot made based on billfish of fish and name's Billy.)

9/21 내츠 선발투수는 맥스 셔저, 말린스 선발투수는 톰 퀼러였다. 톰 퀼러는 잘 모르는 선수이지만 그냥 무난한 4,5선발급 투수인 것 같고, 맥스는 6.2이닝동안 2개의 홈런을 포함하여 4안타 3실점 8 삼진을 잡으며 시즌 18승을 거두었다. 투구폼도 물흐르듯이 자연스럽고, 구위, 컨트롤 모두 뛰어난 역시 리그에서 다섯 손가락 안에 꼽히는 훌륭한 선수임에 틀림없지만 올해는 홈런을 너무 많이 맞았던 것 같고, 이 날도 홈런을 2개나 맞았다. 내년에는 피홈런과 좌타자의 출루를 줄이는 방법을 찾아야 할 것 같다.
어쨌든 이 날 맥스를 이어 블레이크 트레이넨-마크 젭진스키-숀 켈리-마크 멜란슨이 무실점으로 잘 막아주었다. 시즌 후반이고 포스트시즌을 얼마 남겨두지 않은 시점이라 그런지 베이커 감독이 더 많은 선수들을 기용하며 활용도를 체크했던 것 같다.
(Starting pitcher was Max Scherzer in Nats, Tom Koehler in Marlins on Sep, 21. I don't know about Tom Koehler, but I think he is starting pitcher of the normal 4 and 5th class, Max recorded 4 hit including 2 homer and 3 runs and 8 strike out, got 18th winning. His pitch form is natural like flowing water, Even though he's great also superb player who has great power and control in the top fifth, but he allowed many home-run this year and got hit 2 home-run. I think he finds out a way to reduce homer and on base of lefty.
Anyway Black Treinen-Marc Rzepcynski-Shawn Kelly-Mark Melencon finished no points this day. It seemed Manager Dusty Baker appointed more players and checked utilization whether it was the end of season and drew near postseason.)

이 날 대니 에스피노자만 안타를 쳤으면 선발 전원 안타를 기록했을텐데 좀 아쉽다. 내셔널 리그에서 이 기록 나오기가 쉽지 않은 것이 투수가 타석에 들어서기 때문인데 대니가 희생플라이와 볼넷은 기록했지만 안타깝게도 안타가 없다. 원래 맥스는 투수 치고는 타격도 괜찮은 편이라 안타치는 날이 좀 있기는 하다.
간만에 라이언 짐머맨이 쓰리런을 치면서 일찍이 승기를 잡았고, 이후 후속타들이 터지면서 손쉽게 승리할 수 있었다. 이 과정에서 트레이 터너도 시즌 12호 홈런을 기록했는데 작년 후반 메이저리그로 콜업된 후의 경험들이 큰 자산이 된 것 같다. 올시즌도 마이너에서 시작한 바람에 메이저 경기수가 적어서 그렇지 올 시즌 스탯이 상당히 좋다. 올 시즌은 대니 에스피노자가 숏으로 24개의 홈런을 쳐주며 자리를 굳건히 지켰고, 부상이 아쉬워서 그렇지 FA로 영입된 2루수 대니얼 머피가 MVP 시즌을 보낸 바람에 터너가 중견수로 뛸 수 밖에 없었는데 오히려 숏보다 중견수가 더 이 친구의 자리가 아닐까란 생각이 좀 들기는 했다. 뭐 내년에는 에스피노자가 팀을 옮긴 바람에 숏으로 뛴다고는 하지만......
(If Danny Espinosa hit a single, it would record all starting lineup's hit, it felt something lacking. Because the part that isn't easy this record in NL is no DH system, Danny recorded Sacrifice Fly ball and base on balls, but there's unfortunately no hit. Naturally Max does good batting even though pitcher, he makes hit well.
Ryan Zimmerman hit 3 run homer after a long time and caught winning in early time, it could easily win after following hits. Trea Turner recorded 12nd homer of season in this process, I think experiences after calling-up to Major League in end of last season becomes a big budget to him. He didn't digest many games in MLB due to starting in Triple A this year, but his stat's pretty good. Turner should run as center fielder cause Danny Espinosa hit 24 home-run as shortstop and hardly kept his position, it felt lacking about injury, but the second baseman Daniel Murphy who entered into this team by FA showed MVP class, I thought good Turner's position is rather center field than shortstop. However he will play for shortstop because Danny moved to another team by trade......)
[치어리더들(Cheerleaders)]
말린스 파크의 또 하나의 특징은 이렇게 치어리더가 있는 것이다. 메이저리그는 치어리딩 문화가 없고, 미식축구나 농구 이런 쪽만 있는 걸로 알고 있었는데 나도 좀 놀랍기는 했다. 그래도 우리나라 치어리더와는 큰 차이가 있는 것이 외모를 크게 보지는 않는 것 같고, 안무가 상당히 와일드한 편이다. 또한 남자 치어리더들도 있고, 춤사위가 아닌 치어리딩의 목적에 부합한 안무이며 경기 진행을 방해하지 않는 선에서 이뤄진다는 게 훨씬 좋은 것 같다. 여자 치어리더들이 약한 척, 이쁜척하지 않는다는 것도 좋았고......
(The another feature of Marlins park is the existence of cheerleader. I knew there was no cheerleading culture in MLB and there was only NFL of basketball, I was surprised a little. But it has big differences comparing with KBO Cheerleading culture, I think they don't regard appearance a lot and choreography is pretty wild. Besides I think better there are male cheerleaders and it's choreography that matches purpose of cheerleading not dancing, it goes along cheerleading not to interrupt playing game. I was good female cheerleaders don't pretend weak and pretty......)
여러모로 많은 의미가 있었던 경기였던 것 같다. 무엇보다 호세 페르난데스의 마지막 게임이나 모습을 직접 봤다는 점이 여전히 슬프다. 어릴 때 죽을 각오로 쿠바를 탈출한 후 많은 어려움을 딛고 지금의 이 자리에 올라섰는데 사망 원인이 더 안타까웠던 것 같다. 음주 상태로 보트 운전을 한 것과 코카인 복용이 사인인 것 같다고 하니......
음주 상태로 보트 운전을 했다면 그건 매우 유감스러운 일이긴 하지만 미국, 특히 국경에 붙어있는 마이애미의 경우는 미드에서도 보듯이 워낙 마약 문제가 많은 곳이고 중독자는 아니라니 초범 정도로 보면 될 것 같다. 아직 어린 선수이기에 개선될 여지는 충분하다고 보면 더 안타까운 일이 아닐 수 없다. 왜 그랬니, 녀석아... ㅜㅜ
{I thought there was variously a lot of meaning to me. I still sad that I directly watch Jose Fernandez's last game of some figures most of all. He overcomes a lot of crisis and rises to this position of now after he escaped Cuba at the risk of his life when he was a younger, I was sorry for the cause of death more. News said the cause of death was boat's driving by drinking condition and cocaine abuse......
If he drove boat by drinking condition, I was so sorry about this, but especially Miami where closed to the border has a lot of drug's problem as seen drama of USA and he wasn't addict, so it seems to see first offender. Room being improved thinks enough so he's younger player, it's very more unfortunate thing. Why were you so, Jose... :( }
