버킷 리스트를 달성하기 위해 달려온지도 벌써 3년째......
미르가 떠난 후 이제 나에게 남은 건 MLB 야구와 이 버킷 리스트 뿐이라 어려운 상황임에도 불구하고 올해도 나의 인생 계획을 실행해 나가기로 했고, 그렇게 4월 11일부터 4월 22일까지 다소 짧은 기간동안 미국 캘리포니아 주로 여행을 떠났다. 2015년은 플로리다 템파, 밀워키, 캔사스시티, 피츠버그 등 미국 중남부 지역, 2016년 작년은 필라델피아와 피츠버그(2번째), 마이애미, 텍사스 주 알링턴과 달라스 그리고 포트워스, 워싱턴 DC, 뉴욕, 세인트루이스 등 미국 동남부지역과 중부지역을 다녀왔으니 캘리포니아 주는 이번이 첫 여행이었던 것이다.
적당한 더위는 몰라도 원체 무더위를 싫어하는 편이라서 캘리포니아 지역은 나중으로 계속 미뤄두고 있었다. 허나, 마침 4월이라는 이른 시기였고, 정치적으로 민감한 미국 상황상 그래도 리버럴이 많은 캘리포니아 주가 나름 편안할 것 같아 어렵지 않게 결정하게 되었다.

Because the thing that lately remains to me after Mir passed away is just this bucket list, even though it's tough situation to me, I decided to execute my life plan likewise this year, left to California of USA for a little period from Apr, 11 to Apr, 22 like that. I've been to central-southern state of USA where were Tampa(Florida) and Milwaukee(Wisconsin) and Kansas City(Missouri) and Pittsburgh(Pennsylvania) and etc in 2015, to eastern-southern and central state of USA where were Philadelphia and Pittsburgh(the 2nd time) of Pennsylvania and Miami(Florida) and Arlington and Dallas and Fort Worth(Texas) and Washington DC and New York and St. Louis(Missouri) and etc last year in 2016, tour of California state has been the first journey this year.
I naturally hate swelter a lot except suitable heat weather, so I've been postponed California tour later. But It was finally early time being April and it looked like comfortable atmosphere cause I thought California state has a lot of liberals, so I could decide not difficulty.)

더 많은 관광지를 방문할 계획이었으나 나리타 공항에서 환승하는 도중 delay되었고, LA 공항에서 애너하임까지 이동할 때 러시아워로 인해 오랜 시간이 걸렸으며 체크인 시간까지 지연되는 등 첫날부터 여러가지 이슈들로 인해 체력적으로 너무 지쳐서 애너하임에서는 아주 중요한 일정만 남기고 다 취소해야했다. 주목적은 MLB 야구장 투어였기에 과감하게 버릴 수 있었던 것이다.
항상 하던대로 여행-볼파크 투어-야구 경기 등 세 챕터로 나눠 리뷰를 쓸 예정이지만 샌디에고 여행, 샌프란시스코 여행, 펫코 파크 투어, AT&T 파크 투어, 텍사스 레인저스의 애너하임 어웨이 게임, 다저 스타디움과 경기, 샌프란시스코 자이언츠와 콜로라도 로키스 게임, 텍사스 레인저스의 오클랜드 어웨이 게임, 정리까지 중요한 이벤트 위주로 글을 쓰게 되면 대충 13개 정도로 마무리지을 수 있을 것 같다.
(I planed to visit much more tourist attractions, but I was so tired physically by some issues cause it was delayed transfer to LAX in Narita Intl' Airport and It was rush hour when I moved from LAX to Anaheim, it was delayed even check-in, I cancelled all tour schedules except only very important schedule in Anaheim. Main goal was MLB ball Park tour, so I could dramastically erase.
I'm going to post reviews to divide three chapters of tour-ball park tour-baseball game like I always did, however I'll be able to end about 13 writing if it posts San Diego tour, San Francisco tour, Petco Park tour, AT&T Park tour, away games of Texas Rangers in Anaheim, Dodger stadium and game, games of San Francisco and Colorado Rockies, away games of Texas Rangers in Oakland, a close writing.)
6. [2017 MLB TOUR] 샌프란시스코, 가장 살고 싶은 도시(1) (San Francisco, The city where I want to live the most)

4월 15일 토요일, 새벽 5시 20분 샌프란시스코행 메가 버스를 타기 위해 애너하임역으로 갔는데 그 시간이 새벽 4시대였던 것 같다. 전날 샌디에고-LA로 이어지는 여행 코스가 거리상 오랜 시간이 걸릴 수 밖에 없었기 때문에 늦은 시간 숙소에 들어가서 씻고 짐 싸고 이런저런 자료 정리를 하니 새벽 2시가 넘어버려 아예 수면을 포기하고 바로 정류장으로 간 것이었다. 어차피 애너하임에서 샌프란시스코까지 7시간 정도 걸리는 거리였으니 버스 안에서 잘 수 있다고 생각하고...... (역시 미국 땅덩어리는!!!)
주말이라 그랬는지 예상보다 시간이 더 걸려서 이 날의 관광 일정을 취소했고, 그 다음날은 비도 오고 피곤해서 AT&T 파크를 가는 것 외의 다른 일정을 취소했다. 그래서 오클랜드로 숙소를 옮긴 후 남는 시간에 샌프란시스코 관광을 했는데 샌프란시스코와 오클랜드는 베이 브릿지를(사진에서 보이는 하얀 불빛의 다리) 사이에 둔 가까운 거리이기 때문에 이것이 가능하다.
(Saturday on Apr, 15, I went to Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center for riding Mega bus to San Francisco at 5:20am, maybe the time was near 4:00am. Because the tour course from San Diego to LA spent long time a day ago, I came back lodging lately and took a shower and pack up and arranged some data, so it had been over 2:00am, I totally forgave up sleep and went just to Mega bus stop. It took about 7 hours from Anaheim to San Francisco, I thought I could sleep in the bus...... (What a America's land mass!!!)
I had cancelled schedule of this day spending a long time than I expected whether weekend and schedule of next day had also cancelled except AT&T Park caused by raining and tiredness. So I've toured San Francisco using spare time after moving toward Oakland hotel, it is available cause it is close distance as there is Bay Bridge between San Francisco and Oakland.)
[오클랜드 호텔(Oakland Hotel)]
오클랜드와 샌프란시스코에서 묵었던 호텔들 모두 가격 대비해서 괜찮았다. 샌프란시스코는 「더 모서」라는 호텔이었고, 오클랜드는 「데이즈 인 오클랜드-콜리세움」이었는데 아무래도 비수기라 그랬는지 1일당 $100 ~ 110대였고, 주위 시세를 생각하면 상당히 저렴하면서도 깔끔했다. 오클랜드 호텔은 저 사진에서 보듯이 방 사이즈가 큰데다 냉장고, 커피포트, 안전금고가 있었고, 모서 호텔은 전용 욕실을 가지고 있으면서 가격이 싼 대신 저 냉장고, 커피포트 모두 없었다. 추가 요금 내면 냉장고 있는 방으로 갈 수는 있는데 어차피 2박 3일만 있었고 멀티 포트도 가지고 간 데다 날씨도 쌀쌀한 때였어서 굳이 그럴 필요까지는 없었던 것 같다.
(All Hotels staying in Oakland and San Francisco was good by cost-effectiveness. I've been stayed in hotel 「The Mosser」 in San Francisco and 「Days Inn Oakland-Coliseum」 in Oakland, these were cost $100s to $110s per a day whether it was off-season, to think going price near these city, it was pretty cheap and tidy. The hotel in Oakland was large size room, has refrigerator and coffeepot and safety as seeing the pictures, The Mosser hotel has been private bathroom and was cheap, but were all that refrigeration and coffeepot. If it shoulders additional expenses, it can use a room to have refrigerator, but it wasn't necessary cause anyhow I stayed 2 nights 3 days here, brought multi-pot, it was chilly.)

4월 16일 일요일은 부활절이었다. 독실한 가톨릭 신자까지는 아니어도 나름 내 종교를 사랑하고 항상 주님의 말씀에 따라 살아가려고 노력하는 사람으로써 여행 전에 가장 고민을 했던 부분이 주일 미사였다. 물론 예전에 KBO 어웨이 게임 한창 보러 다닐 때도 그 해당 지역 성당에 가서 거의 주일 미사를 드렸고, 또 그것이 나름의 재미이긴 했다.
그래서 이번에는 부활절이기도 한만큼 미국에서도 꼭 미사를 드려야겠다 생각하고 숙소 주위를 미리 알아보았는데 영어 미사를 한번도 드린 적이 없어서 걱정 반 설렘 반 이었던 것 같다. 전례 내용이야 오래된 신자니 다 알고야 있으나, 내가 따라할 수 있었던 부분은 성호 긋는 것과 "아멘" 그리고 "해피 이스터" 란 말 뿐이었으니 다음에는 영어로 된 전례 내용을 알아보고 가야겠다는 깨달음을 얻기도 했다.
(It was Easter on Sunday, Apr 16. I'm not as devout Catholic, as I love my religion in my own way and am person who always tries to behave according as my God's gospel, the point that I worried a lot was Sunday mass before travel. Of course, I had gone to mass at catholic church of the area and almost when I often went to watch away games of KBO before, the thing was excitement in its way.
Therefore I certainly decided to go to mass in USA as this time was Easter, looked for catholic church near my hotel beforehand, but I thought to have a half anxiety and a half expectation so I've never done English mass even once. I know content of divine service well due to old Catholic, but the part that I can tell with another Catholic was just to make sign of the cross and and "Amen" and "Happy Easter", so I've resolved to go here after finding out content of divine service in English the next time.)

샌프란시스코는 미국 캘리포니아 주에 있는 도시로 문화, 경제, 상업 거점의 역할을 하고 있는 인기 많은 관광 도시이다. 인구 밀도가 미국 전체에서 2번째로 높으며 샌프란시스코와 그 외 주변 지역을 샌프란시스코 베이 에어리어라고 하는데 샌프란시스코-산호세-오클랜드 광역 도시권은 860만명의 인구로 미국에서 5번째로 큰 광역 도시권이다.
1776년 스페인의 함대가 샌프란시스코 만을 발견하여 요새를 구축하고 가톨릭 수도회인 돌로레스 선교회를 세웠다. 1821년 스페인으로부터 독립하여 멕시코의 영토가 되면서 선교 풍습이 사라졌고, 땅이 민영화되어 예르바 부에나라는 마을을 건설했는데 멕시코-미국 전쟁 이후 과달루페-이달고 조약대로 샌프란시스코가 미국 캘리포니아 주의 땅이 되었다고 한다. 1848년 캘리포니아 골드 러쉬로 인해 많은 사람들이 몰려들었고, 이때 웰스 파고, 캘리포니아 은행, 기라델리, 리바이스 등의 기업이 나타났으며 미국에서 2번째로 큰 차이나 타운과 골든 게이크 공원도 만들어졌다.
하지만 1906년 4월 18일 샌프란시스코 지진으로 인해 샌프란시스코와 캘리포니아 북부에 막대한 피해가 발생하였다. 수많은 건물이 붕괴되고, 가스관이 폭발하여 화재가 발생하는 등 도시의 약 75%가 파괴되며 많은 사망자들과 이재민들이 생겨났으나, 이후 빠르게 복구하였다.
최근에는 IT와 4차 산업을 이끌어나가는 도시가 되었는데 앞에 언급한 기업 외에도 우리가 잘 아는 갭, 드롭박스, 레딧, 에어비앤비, 옐프, 핀터레스트, 트위터, 우버, 모질라, 위키미디어 재단 등 유명 기업의 본사가 위치해있다.
샌프란시스코는 "시티 바이 더 베이", "안개 도시", "샌 프란", "프리스코", "The city that knows how(의역하면 답을 아는 도시?)", "바그다드 바이 더 베이", "서부의 파리" 와 같은 별명을 가지고 있다.
(San Francisco is city of California in USA, the popular travel city where is base for culture and economy and commerce. Its population density's high the second place in a whole of USA and as a metropolitan city of San Francisco-San Jose-Oakland has population of 8,600,000 people as San Francisco and near the its is called San Francisco Bay Area, it is a big metropolitan city the 5th place in USA.
Spain's fleet found San Francisco gulf and fortified port and built Dolores mission being Catholic Order in 1776. It became independent from Spain in 1821, became territory of Mexico and disappeared mission custom, was privatized the land and built Yerba Buena, San Francisco became territory of California in USA by Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo after Mexico-America war. Many people gathered due to California Gold Rush in 1848, Wells Fargo and it appeared corporation of California bank and Ghirardelli and Levis and etc then, was created China town where is big the second place in USA and Golden Gate Park.
But Apr 18, 1960, it was huge damage by San Francisco earth-quake in San Francisco and the north California. Many building collapsed, gas pipeline exploded and there was a fire and etc, was destroyed about 75% of city and there were a lot of casualties and victims, but it restored quickly after that.
This becomes a city leading IT and the 4th Industrial Revolution these days, locates head office of famous corporations of Gap and Dropbox and Reddit and Air B&B and Yelp and Pinterest and Tweeter and Uber and Mozilla and Wikimedia Foundation and etc except corporation to mention before.
San Francisco has some nicknames like "The City by the bay", " Fog city", "San Fran", "Frisco", "The city that knows how", "Baghdad By the Bay", "The Paris of the west", "the city".)
[피어 39(Pier 39)]
샌프란시스코의 39번 부두...... 바다를 끼고 있는 세계 여느 나라들 모두 부두를 가지고 있기는 하지만 이 곳은 뭔가 더 특별한 느낌이다. 부두 근처의 가꾸어진 화단과 목조로 된 쇼핑몰과 그 거리, 그리고 바닷가에 쭉 늘어선 절서 정연한 하얀 보트, 저 멀리 보이는 알카트라즈와 엔젤 아일랜드, 소살리토가 있는 섬, 푸른 하늘과 하얀 구름까지 자연과 인간의 창조물이 함께 어우러진 풍경이 깔끔하고 정돈된 느낌을 자아내게 한다.
이 곳을 얼떨결에 2번이나 들렀음에도 불구하고 그 중요한 바다 사자들의 여유로운 일상 모습을 보지 못한 것이 매우매우 아쉽다. 가기 전에는 꼭 보고 오리라 생각했었으나, 두번 다 시간에 쫓겨 그걸 깜박했던 것이다.
역시 한번 더 가야할 상황인 듯? 😊😊😊
(The Pier 39 of San Francisco....... Many countries to have sea all has pier, but this place's something more special feeling. The landscape harmonious nature and human's creation of well-kept flower garden near pier, shopping mall and the street being wood, white boats lining up at beach in good order, Alcatraz and Angel Island to seem far away, Island being Sausalito, blue sky and white cloud evokes neat and ordered feeling.
Even though I drop by here twice on impulse, I regretted very much what couldn't see comfort life of the important sea lions. I was thinking to see certainly sea lions before travel, I didn't forget that caused by pressed for time all twice. ;(
It looks like that I also have to go once more? 😊😊😊)

피어 39에서 조금 걸어가면 피어 41이 나오고 조금 더 걸어가면 피어 43 페리 아치를 볼 수 있다. 골든 게이트 브릿지와 베이 브릿지가 지어지기 이전, 43 부두는 베이를 정기적으로 오가던 페리와 배의 선착장으로 사용되었으며 그 페리는 마린과 노스 베이 에리어로부터 철도 운송 차들를 운송했다.
피어 43 페리 아치는 오늘날 이 도시의 주요 도로로 남아있는 파웰 스트리트의 끝에 서 있는 것으로 1914년에 지어질 당시 원래 목적은 벨트 레일로드를 제공하는 것이었다. 벨트 레일로드는 샌프란시스코 엠바로카데로를 따라있는 짧은 철로이다. 현재는 승객을 태우거나 차량, 화물, 철도 차량을 싣는 페리의 정박지로 사용되고 있다.
(It walks a little from Pier 39 and it's Pier 41, walks more and can see Pier 43 Ferry Arch. Before the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge was constructed, The Pier 43 was used landing slip for ferryboats and barges which plied the bay, this ferries carried railroad freight cars from the Marin and the North Bay Area.
The Pier 43 Ferry Arch stands at the foot of Powell Street which remains a major thoroughfare of this city today, its original purpose when it built in 1914, it was to serve the Belt Railroad. The Belt Railroad was a short-line railroad along the Embarcadero in San Francisco. For now it was used ferryboats docked, an embarkation point for passengers, autos, cargo and rail cars.)

[점심식사로 먹은 쉐이크와 더블더블 버거(Shake and Double-Double to eat at lunch)]
피셔맨스 워프는 그 의미 그대로 어부들의 선착장이라는 뜻인데 19세기 중반 골드 러쉬가 한창일 때 이탈리아 어부들이 이 지역에 정착하여 던지니스 게를 잡으며 형성된 곳이다. 동쪽으로 35번 부두와 커니 스트리트, 서쪽으로 기라델리 스퀘어 혹은 벤 네스 에비뉴까지의 지역을 가리키는 곳으로 파웰역에서 출발하는 케이블카의 종점이다.
세계 3대 초콜릿 중 하나라고 칭하는 기라델리, 어시장과 여러 음식점에서 판매하는 던지네스 게와 클램 차우더가 이 곳의 유명한 음식인데 나중에 기라델리 초콜릿만 집에 와서 먹고, 게와 클램 차우더는 안 먹었다. 해산물은 좋아하는데 그냥 원래 게를 즐겨먹는 편도 아니고, 클램 차우더도 안 끌렸다고나 할까......
그래서 인앤아웃 버거로 들어갔다. 역시 유명해서 그런지 사람이 끊이질 않았고, 대략 10분 정도 기다려서 음식을 받은 것 같다.
탄산음료도 별로 안 좋아해서 쉐이크와 제일 맛있다는 더블더블 버거를 시켜봤다. 역시 명성대로 버거는 우리나라 햄버거와 비교해 엄청난 두께를 자랑하기 때문에 다 먹을 수 있을지 자신이 싶었는데 감자튀김을 안 시켜서 다 먹을 수 있었던 것 같고(맛도 좋음), 쉐이크도 달착지근하고 시원하니 좋았다.
(Fisherman's Wharf Fisherman's dock as it means, was formed that Italian Fishermen settled this place and caught Dungeness Crab when it was Golden rush in the middle of the 19th century. It indicates area of Pier 35 and Kearny Street to the east way, Ghirardelli Square or Van Ness Avenue to the west way, was the end of the Cable Car route to start from Powell station.
Ghirardelli called one of the three chocolates in the world, Dungeness Crab and Clam Chowder to sell in the fish market and some restaurants are famous foods of this place, I ate only Ghirardelli chocolate at my house later, didn't eat crab and Clam Chowder. I like seafood, but I don't often eat carb, didn't like to eat Clam Chowder......
So I went to In-N-Out. There were many people whether this is famous place, I remember I get foods about 10 minutes.
I don't like soda well, so I had ordered Shake and Double-Double burger to hear the most delicious. Because burger boasts a big thickness comparing with here's hamburger as I have heard, I thought I couldn't eat burger, but I could all eat this one due to not ordered French fries(surely delicious burger), it was good Shake was sweet and cold feeling.)

아마 피셔맨스 워프를 처음 방문했던 4월 18일 이 날은 야구를 보기 위해 관광을 마무리하고 다시 오클랜드로 넘어갔던 것 같다. 어차피 경기 외의 시간과 여행 마지막날에 시간이 있었기 때문에......
(Maybe this day visiting Fisherman's Wharf at first on April 18, I finished tour course and moved to Oakland again for watching baseball. Cause I had some times except game and the last day of this travel......)
