항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. 상황이 바뀐 것도 있지만 원래의 계획보다 여행 기간을 더 연장했던 이유는 내 응원팀의 포스트시즌 경기를 조금이라도 구경하기 위해서였다. 예산 때문에 포스트시즌 끝까지 늘리는 것은 불가능했으나, 무리하면 포스트시즌 1~2차전 경기 관람은 가능했고, 내 인생에서 이런 기회가 흔하지 않으니 망설일 이유도 없었던 것이다.
결과는 안타까웠지만 그래도 나에게 이 순간들이 좋은 추억으로 남아있다. 솔직히 MLB 정규 시즌 경기를 보러 가는 것도 나에게는 매우 힘든 과제인데 빅게임을 볼 수 있었다는 것만으로도 영광이었고, 좋아하는 팀과 선수들을 나의 여정 끝까지 볼 수 있었다는 것도 행복했다.
(It changed my situation, but the cause to extend more journey duration than initial plan was for watching postseason games of my supporting team even a little bit. The thing that extends to the end of postseason due to my budget was impossible, anyway it was possible what watches game 1 and 2 of postseason if I overdo a little, I didn't need to hesitate so it wasn't easy to have opportunity like this in my life.
I was sad about the result, however these moments remain good memories to me. In fact, watching regular season's game in MLB is very tough project to me, I felt honored even that I could watch big games, I was so happy that I could see favorite team and players to the end of my itinerary.)

포스트시즌 경기가 시작되기 전날, 입장이 경기시간 3시간 이전부터 된다는 메일을 받았고, 홈팀 선수들의 훈련을 볼 수 있는 절호의 기회였기에 이른 시간에 댈러스에서 알링턴으로 넘어와 호텔에 짐만 맡기고 나왔다. 들어가자마자 초고속으로 카메라를 셋팅하고 매우 빠른 걸음으로 외야에 가서 투수들과 외야수들의 훈련을 보며 열심히 사진을 찍었고, 그 이후 배팅 훈련 모습도 함께 담았는데 더 다양한 사진을 찍을 수 있어서 너무 좋았다.
포스트시즌 로스터에 든 선수들도 있지만 그렇지 않은 선수들도 많이 있었는데 어차피 마이너리그 게임도 다 끝난 상황이라 같이 훈련하는 것 같았다.
(One day ago in postseason game, I received e-mail that can enter 3 hours ago of playing time, so I moved from Dallas to Arlington in the early time and went to check my baggages at hotel so it was a golden opportunity that can watch practice of home team's players. As soon as I came to ball park, I did camera settings very fast and quickly walked to outfield and saw practice of pitchers and outfielders and took many pictures, I took a picture with batting practice, I was so pleased so I could take more various pictures.
There were many players who entered into postseason roster, but there were many players who didn't enter into postseason roster, anyway I thought they were doing practice together so Minor League's game is over.)

이번 미국 여행에서 목표가 두 가지 있었는데 그 중의 하나가 노마 마자라에게 사인을 받는 것이었다. 솔직히 홈경기라 못 받을 줄 알고 매직을 챙겨가지 않아서 아주 얇은 네임팬으로 받을 수 밖에 없었는데 이게 지금도 좀 아쉽다. 진짜 이거대로 자수 신청을 해봐야 하나... ㅎ
어쨌든 난 노마도 사인을 잘 안해주는 스타일인 거 같단 생각을 했었는데 실제로는 그게 아니었고, 그저 워밍업할 때는 경기를 준비하는 데에만 최선을 다하는 것 같다. 이 날 훈련이 끝난 후 엄청난 팬들이 몰렸음에도 불구하고 요청하는 팬들이 없을 때까지 한 명 한 명 사인해주고 기념 촬영도 응해주고 들어갔다. 게다가 내가 이 친구에게 더 감동을 받은 포인트는 네임팬이 너무 얇아서 사인하기 많이 어려웠을텐데도 꾹꾹 눌러서 해줬다는 점이다. 물론 내가 본인 유니폼을 들고 사인을 요청했으니 어떻게든 해주고 싶었을지도 모르겠고......
이 일로 인해 노마가 내 존재에 대해 알아차리게 된 것 같다. 물론 얼굴을 제대로 본 게 이 때 뿐이라 얼굴이야 기억이 나지 않겠지만 여태 본인 유니폼에 사인받으러 온 동양인 팬이 전혀 없었는지 그냥 본인을 응원하는 동양인 여성팬이 있다는 정도는 알아차린 것 같고, 중간중간 의식하는 모습도 참으로 귀여웠다... ^.^
(It was two goals in travel of US, one of this was to get autograph from Nomar Mazara. Honestly I though it wasn't opportunity to get and I didn't go to pack a bold pen, so I could get autograph by so thin pen, but I regret this now. Should I really do embroidery application as it is... :)
Anyway I thought he doesn't sign autographs well at first, but he didn't actually so and it seems to do the best only game preparation when he warms up. Even though there were so many fans to him after finishing practice, he gave to sign autographs and to accept recordation photographing one by one person until that it hasn't to ask fans. Besides the reason to get more impressive to him gave to press hardly a pen and sign autograph even though it was't easy to sign autograph due to so thin pen. Of course, I brought his jersey and asked an autograph, maybe he wanted to give autograph somehow......
I think he realizes about my existence according to that. Of course, this was only that he saw my face, so he doesn't remember my face, but I think he just realizes there is an asian woman fan who supports himself whether there wasn't asian fan who asks autograph in his jersey before, frequently his conscious figure was also so cute... ^.^)

내 눈으로 직접 MLB 포스트 시즌을 보는 게 실감이 나는 순간이었다. 국가 제창하는 거야 정규 시즌에도 하는 일이지만 저 단체 수건 돌리기는 이 때만 볼 수 있는 장면이라서 더 그랬던 것 같다.
(It was a realistic moment I directly watched Postseason in MLB. Singing national anthem does also regular season, but it's a scene that it can see group drop-the-handkerchief by group only this time.)

첫 날 선발투수는 콜 해멀스였는데 경기 전부터 솔직히 좀 불안하긴 했던 것이 후반기에 지쳤다는 느낌이 많이 들어서였다. 베니 감독이 특히 후반기에 투구수라도 관리 좀 해줬어야 했는데 그렇게 하지 않은 것이 애초부터 불안했다. 역시 아니나 다를까, 미처 4회도 다 마치지 못하고, 홈런을 포함하여 7점을 주고 강판되었다. 물론 벨트레옹 에러도 있었지만 그건 일부에 불과하다고 생각했다.
알렉스 클라우디오-토니 바넷-제이크 디크먼이 뒤를 이어 나왔고, 알렉스와 토니는 나름 잘 막았으나, 디크먼이 후속 실점을 하며 대패하고 말았다. 이 날 생각했던 부분이 확실히 우타자가 많은 토론토 상대로 좌투수는 전략적으로 조금 별로였는데 더욱이 콜 해멀스가 지쳐있었던 상태였으니 어려운 경기를 할 수 밖에 없었던 것 같다.
(Starting pitcher of the fist day was Cole Hamels, the part that was honestly anxious is what I felt he was tired in the end of season. Especially Manager Banister should manage his pitch counts in the end of season, I was anxious at first so he wan't so. Also as I expected, he didn't finish even 4 inning, allowed 7 runs with 1 home-run and was substituted. Of course, it was Beltre's error, however I thought this was just a part.
Alex Claudio-Tony Barnette-Jake Diekman took the mound following him, Alex and Tony pitched well, but Diekman allowed add runs and team bigly lost. The part that I thought this day was what it wasn't good thinking a little lefty pitcher pitches surely the opposite Toronto Blue Jays to have many right batters in line-up, Cole Hamels was so tired condition in addition, so I thought team should play tough game.)

솔직히 타자들의 타격감은 더 심각했던 것 같다. 지구 우승한거라 중간에 몇 경기를 안했으니 당연한 부분도 있었지만 그래도 4안타는 좀 심했던 듯 하다. 솔직히 정규시즌에도 딱 이길 점수만 뽑을 정도로 타격이 강한 편은 아니었고, 안되는 날은 답답하기까지 했는데 아무리 큰 경기라고 해도 운만 바랄 수는 없을테니 크게 놀라운 일은 아니었다.
(Honestly Batter's hitting sense was more serious. It was a sure part so there wasn't game in the middle due to division winning, but 4 hit was serious a little. In fact, hitting wasn't strong as earned only scores that can just win in the regular season, I was so stifling in the day that hitting wasn't good, even though it's big game, it doesn't wish only lucky, so it wasn't surprised a lot.)

ALDS 2차전의 선발투수는 다르빗슈였다. 작년에 토미존 수술을 하며 오랜 재활 과정을 거쳐 올시즌 중반에 복귀했기 때문에 아직 본인의 기량을 모두 회복하지는 않았던 것 같은데 이 날도 그러긴 했다. 다르빗슈도 후반기에 기복이 있었고, 본인의 주특기인 슬라이더 제구는 전혀 회복한 상태가 아니었다. 이 날도 슬라이더 제구가 기복이 있었던 것 같고, 4개의 홈런을 포함하여 5이닝동안 5실점을 하면서 아쉬운 투구 내용을 보여줬다.
그 이후 토니 바넷-맷 부시-샘 다이슨은 무실점으로 잘 막아줘서 어느 정도 승리할 수 있는 발판은 마련해줬으나, 타자들이 득점권에서 점수를 올려주지 못했다.
(Starting pitcher of ALDS 2nd game was Darvish Yu. Because He underwent a Tommy John Surgery last year and returned in the middle of this season after he went through old rehab process, I thought he couldn't recover his all ability yet, this game was so. He had undulating in end of season and slider's control of his specialty hasn't been recovered at all. I thought Slider's control had undulation and allowed 5 runs with 4 home-run for 5 inning and wasn't good.
After, Tony Barnette-Matt Bush-Sam Dyson pitched well no points, so they made foothold that can win, but Batters didn't score on RISP.)

이 날은 득점권에서 좋지 않아서 그랬지 첫 경기보다는 타격감이 나아졌다. 13개의 안타를 치며 조금씩 타격감을 회복한 것이 그 다음 경기는 잘하겠다는 생각을 하게 만들어주긴 했으나, 지금 생각하면 다르빗슈가 홈런을 딱 2개만 덜 줬더라면 이겼을거고, 그게 이후의 승부 향방에 좋은 영향을 미쳤을텐데 아직도 이 부분이 아쉬운 것 같다.
내가 봤던 마지막 경기에 우리 노마가 포스트시즌 첫 선발 출전을 했고, 첫 안타까지 기록해서 나름 위로는 되었던 것 같았다. 3차전이 열린 날, 한국으로 돌아오는 비행기를 타고 있었어서 경기를 보지는 못했지만 이 경기까지 잘했으면 더 좋았을텐데 그래도 좋은 수비를 해준 것 같아 다행이었고 이 경험이 앞으로 그의 미래에 큰 자산이 되어주리라 믿는다.
(It wasn't good in RISP, but batting sense was getting better than the 1st game of ALDS. They hit 13 base-hit and better batting sense, so I thought they will do a good play next game, but I think for now, if Darvish Yu allowed only 2 home-run, it would win and have an good effect on winning direction, I still feel something lacking about this part.
Nomar Mazara played starting 9th batter in postseason when the final game that I watched and recorded the first a base-hit, so it thought this made me pleased. The day that opens 3rd game of ALDS, I couldn't watch the game so I was in plane coming back my country, however I would be so glad if he also played good in the 3rd game, I thought fortune so he did good defense, I believe this experience becomes a big budget to his future from now on.)
