항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)
2) [MLB Park TOUR] 필라델피아 필리스의 홈구장, 시티즌스 뱅크 파크 (Home of the Philadelphia Phillies, Citizens Bank Park)
[시티즌스 뱅크 파크(Citizens Bank Park)]
올해 처음 방문한 MLB 야구장은 필라델피아 필리스가 홈구장으로 사용하고 있는 시티즌스 뱅크 파크였다. 내셔널리그 동부지구에 속해 있으며 1998년과 2008년 월드시리즈에서 우승을 했고, 특히 최근 2007년부터 2011년까지 5년 연속 지구 우승을 차지했다. 2009년에는 한국인 최초 메이저리거 박찬호 선수가 불펜 투수로 뛰기도 했다.
사실 이 팀에 대해 자세히는 모르지만 2000년대 강팀이었다는 이야기는 많이 들었던 것 같다. 현재 내 응원팀에 있는 콜 해멀스가 2008년 월드 시리즈 우승을 견인했다고 하고, 스캇 롤렌, 지미 롤린스, 체이스 어틀리, 클리프 리, 로이 할러데이, 라이언 하워드 등 뛰어난 선수들이 많은 강팀이었다.
하지만 어느 순간 필리스는 하위권 팀으로 추락했는데 우연하게도 내가 MLB를 본격적으로 다시 보기 시작했던 시점과 대충 맞아떨어진다. 그래서 한국 메이저리그 팬들이 부르는 루벤 아마로 주니어 단장의 별명도 알고 있다. 돌마로라고......
(MLB ball park where visited at first this year was Citizens Bank Park which Philadelphia Phillies is using for home. Philadelphia Phillies belong to east division of National League and won world series in 1998 and 2008, especially won division title for five years in a row from 2007 to 2011. Chan Ho Park who is the first Korean Major Leaguer played relief pitcher in 2009.
Honestly I don't know, but I thought I heard a lot they were a strong team in the noughties. Cole Hamels who belongs at my supporting team now led world series' winning in 2008 and Scott Rolen and they was strong team there were many great players of Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley and Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay and Ryan Howard and etc.
But suddenly Phillies dropped low rank's team, the time that I restarted to watch MLB in earnest coincidentally matched. So I know Ruben Amaro Jr.'s nickname who is called by Korean MLB fans. Idiot Maro in Korean meaning......)
[시티즌스 뱅크 파크 외부(Outside Citizens Bank Park)]
미국은 대체적으로 한 구역에 스포츠 경기장이 모여있는 도시가 많은 거 같은데 필라델피아도 마찬가지로 시티즌스 뱅크 파크 건너편에는 NFL 경기장과 웰스 파고 센터(아이스하키, NBA 농구장 등)가 있다. 이 경기장 모두 AT&T 역에서 도보 10분 거리이고, 경기장 주위에 주차장도 많이 조성되어 있어서 경기가 있는 날에는 북적북적하다.
최근에는 필리스의 전력이 약하고 거의 시즌 후반 경기를 보러간 거라 많이 여유있을지 알았는데 그래도 역시 MLB 답게 기본적으로 관중은 많은 것 같다. 물론 아주 많지야 않을만한 상황이지만 역시 미국에서의 스포츠는 그냥 일상 생활 중의 하나인 듯 싶다.
{There are usually many cities where are concentrated sports stadium in one territory in USA, the opposite Citizens Bank Park has NFL stadium and Wells Fargo Center(Ice hockey, NBA stadium, etc) in the same manner. These stadiums all take time 10 minutes by walk from AT&T station, it has a lot of parking lots near stadium, so the day playing game is so busy.
I thought it would be composed cause Phillies' strength is weak and I visited to watch in the last regular season these days, but it looked like there were a lot of fans basically commensurate with MLB. Of course, it wasn't situation to have many fans, however I think sports in USA is just one of daily life.)

하루만 더 있었다면 구장 투어를 했을텐데 애초 미국 여행을 계획할 당시에는 추석 연휴를 포함하여 11박 13일의 일정이었고, 경기 일정과 맞춰야 하다보니 어쩔 수 없이 여기서의 일정을 줄일 수 밖에 없었다. 그래서 그냥 경기 시작 전에 조금 일찍 가서 주위를 둘러보는 것으로 만족하려고 했고......
역시 다른 팀과 마찬가지로 정말 많은 상품들이 있고, 사고 싶은 것들도 많았으나 내 응원팀이 아니고 예산도 한정되어 있었기 때문에 참았다. 그래도 항상 MLB야구장 투어를 하면서 다녀온 야구장에 대한 흔적은 남겨두고 싶어서 이 사진들과 함께 구단 마스코트와 야구공은 꼭 사온다.
(If it had a day more, I would tour MLB ball park, I made plans for 11nights 13days including Thanksgiving holiday in the time planning USA travel at first, I unavoidably had to reduce schedule about this city so it should match with game schedule. So I go early before playing game and tried to satisfy looking around near park......
There were really many goods like another team and many things which wanted to buy, but I didn't bought because it isn't my supporting team and had limited budget. Anyway I always tour MLB ball park and I want to treasure trace about ball park where has been, so I purchase mascot doll and ball with taking photos.)

사실 크게 멋스러운 느낌의 야구장은 아니었지만 그건 내가 이쁜 야구장들만 먼저 돌아봐서 그런 거 같고, 이 곳에 필라델피아 도시다운 특징이 있는데 그것이 바로 저 자유의 종 구조물이다. 게다가 더 자세히 보면 종의 중간 하단 쪽에 퍼플 색상의 선이 보이는데 자유의 종에 금이 간 모습까지 그대로 연출했다.
이렇게 MLB 모든 야구장들은 최소 하나씩의 특징을 가지고 있고, 뭔가 그 도시의 분위기나 스토리 등 여러가지 요소를 표현해내는데 그 것이 참으로 인상적이었다.
과연 우리 나라의 여러 건물이나 구조물들은 그런 독특한 개성을 표현해내고 있을까... 물론 예전보다는 많이 나아진 부분도 엿보이지만 아직 갈 길이 멀어보인다.
(It wasn't bigly fantastic ball park in fact, maybe it'll be so cause I went to only beautiful ball park at the first, this place has a feature such Philadelphia city, that is just that structure of Liberty Bell. Moveover, it sees more in detail and can see line of purple color in the middle-down of bell, this directs intactly atmosphere to crack in the Liberty Bell.
All MLB ball parks have a feature like that at least, express various element of the city's feeling or something story or etc, I was pretty impressive about that.
Indeed, does some buildings or structures of my country express special character like that... I can surely show better thing a lot than the past, but I think it still need much time.)
필라델피아에서의 마지막 밤, 제대로 된 야경을 보며 시간을 보낸 것은 아니었지만 여러 구축물과 야구장 그리고 여러 빛의 조명이 어우러져 연출하는 장면은 매우 낭만적인 느낌으로 다가왔고 그렇게 이 날 일정을 마무리했다.
(The last night of Philadelphia, I didn't watch proper night view and spend time, however the scene showing mix with some structures and ball park and light was felt so romantic, I finished this day's schedule like that.)
