가끔은 참 내 자신이 대책없이 느껴진다. 남들 눈으로 보기에는 한심해 보일 수 있지만 그렇다고 할지라도 버킷 리스트를 달성하고자 하는 이 꿈과 의지를 멈출 수 없는 아이러니는 대체 무엇이란 말인지...... 뭔가 설명할 수 없는 이 급박함은 최근 몇 년동안 건강이 좋아지지 않으면서 비롯되었고, 어쩌면 생각 외로 빨리 이 세상을 떠날 수 있겠다는 생각 또한 들어서 그런 것 같다. 이제는 well-dying이 내 인생의 모토가 되어가고 있다.
힘든 시간을 거쳐오는 와중에 어찌저찌 9월말 며칠과 추석 연휴를 이용해서 또 다시 야구장 투어를 할 수 있었는데 그 부분에 대해서 항상 하느님께 감사드린다. 이렇게 내 꿈을 끊임없이 실천할 수 있도록 항상 도와주시고 계시고, 앞으로도 도와주시리라 믿고 있다.
(Sometimes I feel reckless myself pretty much. Another people think pathetically me, but what is this irony that it can't stop this dream and will to achieve my bucket list...... This urgency can't explain something originated my health not good recently for a couple years, it also feels like maybe I will be able to pass away from this world quickly than I expect. Well-dying is becoming motto of my life from someday.
While I have spent rough time, I could do MLB ballpark tour for some days including thanksgiving holiday in the end of September again, I appreciate about the part to my God. He's constantly helping me to achieve my dream like this, I believe he helps me in succession.)

8박 10일이라는 다소 짧은 기간이기는 하였으나, 사실 이 기간도 예상보다 더 길어진 것이라서 정말 감사하는 마음으로 다녀올 수 있었다. 내 응원팀들의 경기와 MLB 구장 투어를 목적으로 한 여행이었기에 이번에 새로 다녀온 곳은 2곳이었고, 알링턴은 2016년부터 매년 한번씩은 들르고 있어서 뭔가 제 2의 고향같은 기분이 든다. 안타까운 건 내가 미국에서 살고 싶은 도시 목록에 달라스와 알링턴은 없다는 점이지만...... :)
으레 그래왔던대로 간 곳마다 여행 - 야구장 투어 - 야구 경기 이렇게 세 챕터로 나누어 글을 쓸 것이며 알링턴에서는 특별히 관광을 하지는 않아서 정리글까지 총 9개의 글로 마무리할 수 있을 것이다.
{It was a short time of 8 nights 10 days though, I could go having thankful mind so it was honestly longer than I expected, The city where I have visited first in this time was 2 ones cause it was purpose for baseball games of my teams and MLB ballparks tour, I feel like Arlington is my second hometown whether I've been staying once every year since 2016. The sad thing's there is nothing Dallas and Arlington in the city list which I hope to live...... :)
As I've always been doing, I'll post to divide 3 chapters like tour-baseball park tour-baseball game wherever I visited, finish total 9 reviews including epilogue so I didn't do sightseeing especially in Arlington.}
3. [2018 MLB TOUR(11)] 마일 하이 시티, 덴버 (Mile-High City, Denver)
[콜로라도 주정부 & 시빅센터 공원 (Colorado State Capitol & Civic Center Park)]
덴버 국제공항에서 공항철도를 타고 덴버 유니온 역에 도착한 순간, 고요한 분위기 속에 붉은 벽돌의 건물들과 황금빛 조명의 조화로움이 나의 눈을 사로 잡았고, 덴버라는 도시와 첫 눈에 사랑에 빠진 느낌이었다. 미국에서, 아니 전 세계에서 가장 사랑하는 도시는 샌프란시스코지만 나에게는 덴버도 최소한 그 다음은 되지 않을까 한다.
원래 아메리칸 리그의 지명타자 제도를 더 좋아하고, 텍사스 레인저스가 내 첫번째 응원팀이기는 하나, 미스테리하게도 워싱턴 내셔널스 그리고 샌프란시스코 자이언츠와 콜로라도 로키스가 어느 순간 그 다음으로 좋아하는 팀들이 되면서(공교롭게 모두 다 NL팀, 물론 AL팀 중에서도 보스턴 레드삭스는 예전부터 관심은 있었고...) 그들의 도시에도 관심을 많이 가지게 되었는데 딱히 그것만이 전부는 아니다. 야구팀을 제외하고도 너무나 매력넘치는 도시임에 틀림없으니까......
덴버가 마일 하이 시티로 불리는 이유는 해수면으로부터 정확히 1마일(5,280ft/1,610m)의 고도에 위치해있으며 미국의 주요 도시 중 가장 높은 곳에 있기 때문이다.
{The moment that I ride airport train from Denver International Airport and arrive at Union Station of Denver, my eyes entered harmony of buildings of red bricks and golden light, it felt falling in love with Denver at first sight. The city that I love the most in USA, no, in the world is San Francisco, but I think Denver is the next city to me at the minimum.
I like DH system of American League more in MLB from the first time, Texas Rangers's my first favorite team though, Washington Nationals and San Francisco and Colorado Rockies mysteriously become the next favorite teams all of sudden(all of teams are coincidentally NL teams, of course, I've been interested in Boston Red Sox in AL from before...), I've paid attention their's cities a lot, it isn't all. It's sure these cities have charm very much except baseball team......
The reason that Denver is called "Mile-High City" is locating altitude of 1mile(5,280ft/1,610m)} from surface of the sea, the highest one in the major cities of USA.}

덴버 다운타운 내의 호텔 가격이 비싼 관계로 수시로 공항 근처와 약간 떨어진 공항철도역 근처 호텔도 알아보았지만 밤늦게 역에서 도보로 걸어가기에는 좀 멀어서 많은 고민을 했었다. 그러다가 아파트먼트 스타일의 숙소는 그나마 내가 감당할 수 있을만한 금액인 것 같아 쿠어스 필드에서 가까운 곳의 숙소를 예약했는데(대신 환불 불가) 호텔스닷컴의 실수인지, 이 숙소 관리 회사의 실수인지 다른 사람과 중복 예약이 되었다는 연락을 받았다. 그래서 원래 예약했던 곳 말고 다른 곳으로 연결을 해주겠다며 2곳을 추천해줬고, 그 중 쿠어스 필드와 도보 거리에 있는 이 숙소를 선택했는데, 오 마이 갓!!! 내가 묵었던 곳 중에 단연 이 곳이 최고였다. 피닉스나 피츠버그에서 묵었던 호텔들보다도 더더욱;;;
그들의 실수로 숙소 전체를 썼지만 3층에 옥상까지 있는 곳이라 여러명이 쓸 수 있는만큼 실제 가격은 하루에 백만원이 넘었던 걸로 기억한다. 난 이 숙소 통째 하루당 12만원대의 가격으로 3박 4일을 묵었던 것이다. 매번 올라가기 귀찮아서 1층과 2층 주방만 사용했는데 진짜 오랫동안 가족 단위로 묵는다면 3층을 사용하는 게 제일 좋아보인다. 각 방마다 욕실 및 화장실이 다 딸려있고, 응접실도 2개, 넓직한 주방, 커피 한잔 마시며 주위 풍경을 볼 수 있는 루프탑까지 아마도 미국인들(뭐 전세계 사람들도 마찬가지일 듯)의 드림 하우스가 아닐까하는 생각이 들었다. 아, 정말 이 곳에서 살 수 있다면......
{I had frequently searched hotels near airport and airport train station cause hotel price in downtown is so expensive, I had to agonize a lot so it isn't easy to walk from station in the night. In the meanwhile, I thought I am able to accept price of apartment, had reserved an apartment close Coors Field(instead of that, unavailable refund), but I got an massage which reserved there with another person at the same time whether Hotels.com made a mistake or management corporation about this accommodation. Therefore management corporation recommended other 2 ones by the second-best solution, I selected this one of two apartments being able to walk from Coors Field, OMG!!! This was surely the best one in the hotels where I stayed. more and more than hotels where I stayed in Phoenix or Pittsburgh...;;;
I used a whole of this accommodation by their's mistake, however I remember real price is over than $1,000 per a day as several people can use. I've been stayed 3 nights 4 days by $110 per a day for a whole. I used only bedroom and living room and bathroom in the 1st floor and kitchen in the 2nd floor because I was bothersome going up stairs every time, it looks like using spaces of the 3rd floor is the best if family really stays for a long time. There are bathrooms and restroom attached to each rooms, 2 living rooms, a large kitchen, rooftop where it can drink a cup of coffee and watch scene near this place, I've thought this house will be American's dream house(all people will be the same...). Hmm, if it can really live in this house......}

첫 날은 호스텔에서 저 위의 숙소로 옮긴지라 시간상 다운타운만 잠깐 돌아다녔고, 덴버에서의 마지막날 또한 쌓인 피로를 풀 겸 해서 숙소에서 늦게 다운타운 쪽으로 향했다. 다운타운에서 무료 셔틀버스를 타고 종점인 시빅센터 정류장에서 하차하면 콜로라도 주정부청사와 시빅센터 공원, 덴버 미술관, 덴버 시청 등이 몰려 있고, 여러 상업 건물들도 있으며 16번가 몰이 이 근처에서부터 시작한다.
투어 상품 중 다운타운 투어도 있기는 한데 가격대가 생각보다는 비싼 편이라 꼼꼼히 알아보고 돌아다니면 굳이 투어 상품을 이용할 필요는 없을 것 같다. 물론 여러 역사적인 사실이나 스토리들의 재미마저 무시할 수는 없지만 말이다. 이런 나도 알아볼 시간이 부족해서 그냥 살짝만 둘러보고 온 것이 아쉬움에 남는다.
(Because I moved from hostel to accommodation on that photos at the first day, looked around only downtown for a while, I went out from accommodation in the late time to break the fatigue at the last day of Denver, too. If it rides shuttle bus no charge at the downtown and gets off at the Civic Center stop, Colorado State Capitol and Civic Center Park and Art Museum of Denver and Denver City Hall and etc are gathered, there are a lot of commercial buildings, 16st Street Mall starts from near this place.
There are some tours of Denver downtown in many tour plans though, its price is a little expensive, so I think it isn't necessary to use tour plan if it can search in detail and sightsee. Of course, it isn't able to ignore enjoyment of many historical facts or stories. I feel lacking about just sightseeing slightly due to not enough time to search information.)
[16번가몰 & 보태닉 가든 (16th Street Mall & Botanic Garden)]
덴버 다운타운은 이 보태닉 가든 때문인지 꽤 아기자기하고 매력적인 느낌이다. 당연히 여러 쇼핑몰들과 음식점, 편의 시설, 문화 시설 등 없는 것 없이 다 있어서 생활에도 전혀 불편함이 없으면서도 조금만 나가면 대자연도 느낄 수 있으니 어찌 사랑하지 않을 수 있으랴!!!
덴버에서 멀리 떨어지지 않은 곳에 기업체 본사들도 많다던데 정말 기회가 되면 덴버에서 거주하며 일하고 싶다. 게다가 이 곳은 내가 좋아하는 팀들의 경기를 보러 가기에도 다 가까운 편이라 항공권 가격도 그닥 비싸지 않고 말이다. 돌아다녀보면 생각 외로 아시안들도 좀 있어서 음식 문제도 별로 크지 않다.
16번가 몰을 따라 쭉 늘어선 보태닉 가든에 체스판 테이블, 피아노, 마사지 샵, 커피숍 등이 있어 덴버 만의 여유로움과 낭만을 만끽할 수 있다.
(It feels like Denver downtown is pretty bijou and impressive whether it has a botanic garden in this place. Surely it has everything of many shops and restaurants and convenience and cultural facilities and etc, so it hasn't inconvenience part at all and can feel mother nature in the near place at the same time, why can't I not love this city!!!
I heard head offices of many corporations are in the place near Denver, I want to live and work in Denver if it has any chance. Moreover flight price isn't expensive cause it's a close place watching games of my favorite teams. Looking around here, it doesn't seem a big problem about food cause there are some Asians than I thought.
There're Chessboard table and piano and massage shop and coffee shop and etc in the botanic garden where stands in a row along 16st street mall, so it can feel composure and romance of only Denver...)

16번가 몰에서 쿠어스 필드 쪽으로 가는 길에 쉬엄쉬엄 다운타운을 구경하며 찍어본 모습들이다. 경기 시작 전이나 후에 바나 레스토랑들에 많은 사람들이 들어차는 것 같던데 술과 친하지 않은 나로서, 그리고 거의 혼자 여행하는 스타일이라 들어가기가 좀 뻘쭘한 감이 있다. 물론 조용한 바라면 생각해보겠지만.....
어쨌든 다소 낡은 건물이 더 특별하게 다가오는 느낌이고, 뭔가 고전과 현대가 공존하는 곳이라 더 매력적인 곳이었다.
(It was photos that I sightsee and take with frequent rests on my way from 16th street mall to Coors Field. There're many people in bars or restaurants before or after game, it seems not easy entering into there due to my style that I enjoy travel lonely as I am one person who don't close with alcohol . Of course, I can consider entering into quite bar......
Anyway vintage building somewhat feels more special, the part that something classic and modern times co-exist felt more charming.)
이번 기회로 샌프란시스코와 함께 덴버도 거주하고 싶은 곳이 되었다. 그러기 위해서는 할 일이 많은데 앞으로 내 인생이 어찌 풀릴지...... 확실한 건 할 수 있는 한 많은 노력을 해볼 것이고, 다시 덴버를 방문할 날을 기다리며 이 글을 마무리해본다.
(By this chance, Denver has became the place that I want to stay as I love San Francisco a lot. For that, there are a lot of things that I have to do, but how will my life be proceed in succession...... The sure thing's what I will try to do my best as much as possible, I wait the day visiting to Denver again and finish this post.)
