가끔은 참 내 자신이 대책없이 느껴진다. 남들 눈으로 보기에는 한심해 보일 수 있지만 그렇다고 할지라도 버킷 리스트를 달성하고자 하는 이 꿈과 의지를 멈출 수 없는 아이러니는 대체 무엇이란 말인지...... 뭔가 설명할 수 없는 이 급박함은 최근 몇 년동안 건강이 좋아지지 않으면서 비롯되었고, 어쩌면 생각 외로 빨리 이 세상을 떠날 수 있겠다는 생각 또한 들어서 그런 것 같다. 이제는 well-dying이 내 인생의 모토가 되어가고 있다.
힘든 시간을 거쳐오는 와중에 어찌저찌 9월말 며칠과 추석 연휴를 이용해서 또 다시 야구장 투어를 할 수 있었는데 그 부분에 대해서 항상 하느님께 감사드린다. 이렇게 내 꿈을 끊임없이 실천할 수 있도록 항상 도와주시고 계시고, 앞으로도 도와주시리라 믿고 있다.
(Sometimes I feel reckless myself pretty much. Another people think pathetically me, but what is this irony that it can't stop this dream and will to achieve my bucket list...... This urgency can't explain something originated my health not good recently for a couple years, it also feels like maybe I will be able to pass away from this world quickly than I expect. Well-dying is becoming motto of my life from someday.
While I have spent rough time, I could do MLB ballpark tour for some days including thanksgiving holiday in the end of September again, I appreciate about the part to my God. He's constantly helping me to achieve my dream like this, I believe he helps me in succession.)

8박 10일이라는 다소 짧은 기간이기는 하였으나, 사실 이 기간도 예상보다 더 길어진 것이라서 정말 감사하는 마음으로 다녀올 수 있었다. 내 응원팀들의 경기와 MLB 구장 투어를 목적으로 한 여행이었기에 이번에 새로 다녀온 곳은 2곳이었고, 알링턴은 2016년부터 매년 한번씩은 들르고 있어서 뭔가 제 2의 고향같은 기분이 든다. 안타까운 건 내가 미국에서 살고 싶은 도시 목록에 달라스와 알링턴은 없다는 점이지만...... :)
으레 그래왔던대로 간 곳마다 여행 - 야구장 투어 - 야구 경기 이렇게 세 챕터로 나누어 글을 쓸 것이며 알링턴에서는 특별히 관광을 하지는 않아서 정리글까지 총 9개의 글로 마무리할 수 있을 것이다.
{It was a short time of 8 nights 10 days though, I could go having thankful mind so it was honestly longer than I expected, The city where I have visited first in this time was 2 ones cause it was purpose for baseball games of my teams and MLB ballparks tour, I feel like Arlington is my second hometown whether I've been staying once every year since 2016. The sad thing's there is nothing Dallas and Arlington in the city list which I hope to live...... :)
As I've always been doing, I'll post to divide 3 chapters like tour-baseball park tour-baseball game wherever I visited, finish total 9 reviews including epilogue so I didn't do sightseeing especially in Arlington.}
2. [2018 MLB TOUR(10)] 대자연의 보고, 로키 마운틴 국립공원 (Rocky Mountain National Park, Repository of Mother Nature)
[포레스트 캐니언 (Forest Canyon)]
드디어 그렇게나 가고 싶었던 로키산에 다다랐다. 캐나다와 미국 뉴멕시코주를 따라 쭉 늘어서 있는 만큼 북미 대륙에서 엄청나게 큰 규모를 자랑하는 산맥이고, 이 로키 마운틴 국립공원은 그 중 일부에 불과하다고 하나, 이 이름을 들을때마다 뭔가 강인한 이미지가 떠오르면서도 이전부터 내가 이 곳에 갈 수 있으리라곤 상상조차 하지 못했었으니 참 감회가 남달랐던 것 같다.
(Finally I reached Mt. Rocky where I really want to go a lot. As it stands in a low along Canada and New Mexico state in USA, is a mountain boasting hugely scale in the Northern-America, this Rocky Mountain National Park is a part of that, however it imagines strong something character whenever I hear the name, I have never imagined that I can go here from before, so it felt impressive pretty much.)

[콜로라도 리용 (Lyons, Colorado)]
로키 마운틴 국립공원 동쪽으로 20마일(32km) 떨어진 곳에 위치한 리용은 2,033명의 인구가 모여살고 있는 작은 마을이다. 17세기 아메리칸 원주민인 우트족의 구역이었고, 그 뒤를 이은 가장 큰 부족은 샤이엔족, 아라파호족, 코만치족 등이 있었다. 우트족은 콜로라도 골드 러쉬 이후의 마지막 부족이었다.
1880년 에드워드 S. 리용에 의해 이 마을이 탄생하였으며 세 방향의 가장자리에 큰 붉은 사암이 있는데 2억 6천만년 전쯤에 생성된 이 암석은 세계에서 가장 단단한 사암이며 독특한 붉은색 혹은 연어 컬러로 여겨지고 있다고 한다. 또한 리용 레드스톤 뮤지엄과 지자체의 건물들 등 역사적으로 중요한 건물들이 잘 보존되고 있다.
잘 생긴 가이드가 농담조로 계속 말한 부분이 '곰'이었는데 이 로키산에 곰이 많이 출몰하긴 하나보다. 곰을 만날 수 있을지 모른다고 겁을 주면서 실제로 곰을 만나면 어떻게 해야 할지도 알려주기도 했다. 문제는 그 방법이 기억이 안 난다. 확실히 뛰면 안된다고는 했던 듯...... ;)
{Lyons located 20mile (32km) from the east of Rocky Mountain National Park is a small town where is living population of 2,033 people. It was Ute Nation being American native in 17th century, the largest tribes followed them were Cheyenne and Arapaho and Chomanche. Ute was the last tribe after Colorado Gold Rush.
This town was founded by Edward S. Lyon in 1880, there's a large red sandstone on three sides, this rock which was from the Permian period about 260 million years ago is considered the hardest sandstone in the world, unique red or salmon color. Moreover it's preserved important buildings of Lyons Redstone Museum and Municipal offices and etc in history well.
The part that Guide who is constantly handsome had talked joke was 'bear', I came to mind that bears appear in this Rocky Mountain a lot. He frightened you guys might meet bears and told how to do if it actually faces bear. The problem's what I don't remember how to do. Doesn't surely have to run...... ;)}
[알렌스파크 (Allenspark)]
알렌스파크는 로키산의 루즈벨트 국립 산림 구역 안의 볼더 카운티의 북서쪽에 위치해있고, 2010년의 인구조사에 따르면 496명이 살고 있는 작은 마을이라고 한다. 이 곳 역시도 옛날에는 아메리칸 원주민이 살았으며 이 구역 안에 첫 오두막을 지었던 한 광부의 이름을 따왔다. 예전에는 겨울 스포츠의 장소로 각광받았고, 크로스 컨트리는 현재까지도 여전히 인기있는 종목이라고 한다.
거대한 산봉우리를 배경으로 아기자기하면서도 다소 불규칙한 벽돌로 만들어진 아름다운 가톨릭 성당과 함께 개울, 울창한 나무들, 각종 식물들의 조화로운 모습이 참으로 매력적으로 다가왔던 곳이다.
(Allenspark locates in northwest of Boulder County within Roosevelt National Forest, is a small town where is living the population of 496 people by Census of 2010. Once upon a time, American Native lived in this area, too, it got its name from a miner who built the first cabin in this area. It had taken centre stage of winter sports before, Cross-country is still the popular events until now.
The harmonious landscape of creek and dense trees and various plants with beautiful Catholic church was built bijou and irregular bricks in the huge peak feels wonderful pretty much.)

[스프라그 호수에서... (At Sprague Lake...)]
다음으로 간 곳은 낚시로 유명한 스프라그 호수로 강송어를 잡기 좋은 곳이라고 한다. 이 호수 주위 0.5마일은 휠체어로 접근이 가능하고, 보드워크와 다리에서는 플랫탑 산과 핼릿 봉우리의 모습을 감상할 수 있다. 에이브너 스프라그가 이 곳에서 1874년 숙소와 목장, 사냥터, 낚시터를 운영하면서 스프라그 호수라 이름이 붙여졌다고 한다.
시간상 호수 주위를 한 바퀴 다 돌 수는 없었으나, 잔잔한 호수 그리고 산책로 곳곳에 위치한 전망대는 로키산맥의 아름다움을 더 잘 느낄 수 있게 해줄 것이다.
(The next place's Sprague Lake being the famous fishing spot, it provides a pleasant area for brookie fishing. A half-mile around this lake wheelchair accessible, it can watch view of Flattop Mountain and Hallet Peak at boardwalk and bridges. Abner Sprague managed a lodge and ranching and hunting and fishing here in 1874, this area is named 'Sprague Lake'.
I wasn't able to look all around for tour plan though, tranquil lake and observation decks locating trail here and there make beauty of Rocky Mountain feel very well. )
[포레스트 캐니언과 툰드라에서.. (At Forest Canyon Overlook & Tundra)]
로키 마운틴 국립공원에서 가장 유명한 포레스트 캐니언은 사진처럼 한 쪽에는 툰드라가 펼쳐져있고, 한 쪽에는 높은 산봉우리들의 절경이 감동을 자아낸다. 포레스트 캐니언의 동쪽 모서리 위에 위치해있는 11,716피트의 이 전망대는 로키 산맥 심장부의 깊은 U자형 골짜기이며, 오늘날 톰슨 강의 불완전한 주요 지류를 따라 빙하가 깊은 협곡으로 조각해낸 신비로운 대자연의 증거이기도 하다.
아마도 낙엽이 장관을 이루는 가을이나 눈이 오는 겨울에 가면 더 멋진 장면을 감상할 수 있을 것 같지만 난 이 때도 탁 트인 풍경과 대자연의 신비가 꽤나 근사하게 느껴져서 나중에 자동차 여행으로 다시 한번 이 곳을 찾고 싶다는 생각이 들었다.
(Tundra spreads out like that photo on one side and grand sight of high peaks is very impressive on the other side in Forest Canyon where is the most famous in the Rocky Mountain National Park. This observation of 11,716-foot located the top of the east corner in Forest Canyon is deep U-shape valley of the heart in Rocky Mountain, is evidence of mysterious mother nature that glacier chiseled to deep canyon along incomplete main tributary of Thompson river now.
Maybe if it goes in autumn which fallen leaves makes wonderful scene or winter snows, I think it watches more wonderful scene, but I've thought I want to go here by car trip later once again so I feel pretty great a huge landscape and mystery of mother nature then.)

[이름이 기억나지 않는 개울가... 캠핑장으로도 유명하다고... (Creek that I don't remember... It's famous camp...)]
우리를 이끌어줬던 가이드가 사실 덴버는 아니고, 텍사스주의 어느 도시 출신이라고(아마도 오스틴이었던 듯) 하면서도 이 로키 마운틴 국립공원을 좋아하고 자주 찾는다고 말해줬던 기억이 난다. 아마도 그래서 이렇게 로키 산맥에 대한 스토리를 들려주기 위해 이 일을 하고 있었던 것이겠지만 어쨌든 이 곳이 그가 야영지로 자주 찾는 곳 중 하나라고 했다.
난 솔직히 캠핑을 좋아하지는 않아서(관광은 좀 빡시게 해도 쉴 때는 편안한 장소를 더 선호하기 때문에) 불편하지 않을까 생각했었는데 캠핑족들에게는 이 곳 또한 꽤 좋은 선택이 될 듯 싶다.
{I remember guide leading us was actually from which city in Texas not Denver in Colorado(maybe I think he is from Austin), he likes here and often goes to Rocky Mountain National Park. So he would work to tell about Rocky Mountain like this, anyway this place is one of camps where he often goes.
Honestly I don't like camping(even if I go to tourist attractions very hard, I prefer more comfortable place when I take a rest), so I had thought it is not good, however it seems to be pretty choice to campers, too.}
[기념품샵 (Gift Shop)]
어느 투어나 마찬가지로 마지막 코스는 기념품샵을 들르는 것이었다. 덴버에서 출발하는 거의 모든 투어는 덴버 유니온역에서 시작하여 끝을 맺는데 이른 아침에 출발하여 오후에 돌아오는 코스가 일반적이다. 내가 참여한 투어는 오전 8시에 출발하여 오후 5시 정도에 돌아오는 코스였다.
투어 그룹 중 대다수는 아무래도 삶의 여유가 있으신 거 같은 어르신들이었고, 휴가 온 교사와 독일인 여행자, 연휴 이용해서 간 나까지 약 10여명 정도의 인원이 있었는데 영어를 잘하지 못해서 많은 이야기는 나눌 수 없었지만 그래도 함께한 분들이 있어서 그런지 든든한 느낌이었다.
이 곳에서 간단하게 마그네틱 두어 종류를 구입하고, 샵 주위도 한번 둘러보았는데 확실히 로키 산맥에 곰이 좀 살긴 사나보다. 실제로 만나면 더 신기했었을 듯... (물론 차 안에 있을 때!!!)
{The last course was dropping over a gift shop such as another tours, Almost tours to depart from Denver start and finish at Union Station of Denver, course that departs in the early morning and comes back is general. The tour that I participated was a course from 08:00am to 05:00pm.
It looked like most people of tour group was rich old men, it had a dozen with teacher who was on vacation and German traveler and me including old men, I couldn't talk a lot of stories so I can't speak English well though, it felt reassured whether there were people with me in tour group .
I bought a couple of magnets, looked around near shop, some bears are surely living at Rocky Mountain, More amazing if I actually see them... (Of course, when I get in the car!!!)
이것도 한정적으로만 둘러본 것이라고 하니 나중에 차를 빌려서 로키 산맥의 구석구석을 한번 쭉 돌아보고 싶다. 특히나 미국 내 여기저기에 위치해있는 대자연을 즐기는 것과 방대한 규모 그 자체가 내 마음에 쏙 든다.
(It was a small scale of Rocky Mountain, so I want to rent a car later and look around all the corners of Rocky Mountain. Especially I love to enjoy mother nature located everywhere in USA and huge scale in itself.)
