매일매일 치열하고 고된 일상을 살아가다보면 그에 따른 반대 급부로 항상 내가 앞으로 어떤 삶을 살 것인지에 대하여 눈을 감고 그려보곤 한다. 아담하지만 편안하고 안락한 나만의 작은 집, 소소하게 먹고 살 수 있을만한 제2의 직업, 여전히 계속하여 진행할 버킷 리스트까지 미르가 내 곁에 없는 지금 이 때, 이렇게 살아가야할 이유를 하나둘씩 만들어가는데 한편으론 지금 이 '한-미-일 야구장 투어' 라는 버킷 리스트를 실행해나가는 내 자신이 무모하고 대책없이 느껴지기도 한다. 여유로운 상황에서 떠나는 여행이 아니니 말이다.
하지만 시계추를 돌려 이 버킷 리스트를 시작한 2015년으로 다시 돌아간다 해도 어차피 난 똑같은 선택을 반복했을 것이다. 그만큼 가끔 내 스스로가 한심하게 느껴지나, 애써 이 점을 무시하고 이번 여행에 대한 소회를 써내려가본다.
(To live on intense and arduous every single day, the reverse about it, I always close my eyes and imagine how I will live in the future. A small but comfortable and cozy my house, the second job that can live small on only me, bucket list to process in succession, I'm creating alive reasons one by one like this without Mir, I feel reckless and irresponsible by myself who executes this bucket list 'Korea-USA-Japan's baseball park tour' on the other side. Because travel isn't what I leave to have enough money.
However even though it comes back pendulum and returns to 2015 that has started this bucket list, I'd do the same selection over and over again. Sometimes I feel stupid by myself as much as that, I try to ignore this point with effort and write my cherished intentions about this travel.)

이번 한국의 추석연휴는 정말 많은 사람들이 기다려 왔었을 것이다. 추석과 여러 국공휴일이 결합되어 최소 10일의 황금 연휴가 구성되었기 때문에 나처럼 여행을 좋아하는 사람들은 몇 개월 전부터 이 시기를 오매불망 기다리고 있었던 것... 그 덕택으로 항공권 가격이 평소보다 최소 2~3배는 비싸서 고민하다가 이렇게 한국-일본 왕복항공권, 일본-미국 왕복항공권(일본은 연휴가 아니니까)을 따로 끊어 그나마 나와 비슷한 시간대로 미주 코스를 갔던 다른 사람들보다는 꽤 많이 절약할 수 있었다. 물론 몸이 힘들었던 건 덤......
(So many people would wait this thanksgiving holiday of Korea. People who like travel as me were looking forward to this period since a few months ago cause it consisted of golden holiday of 10 days at least to combine thanksgiving day and some national holidays... Airlines ticket's price were expensive two to three times than regular day due to that and I was considering some things, I separately purchased round trip tickets of Korea-Japan and Japan-USA(Japan wasn't holidays) like this, I could save pretty much than the other people who went to USA by similar time. Of course, the bonus is what was so tired......)
이렇게 이동거리가 긴 편이라 실제로 많은 곳을 돌아보진 못해서 기존에 다녀온 여행보다는 찍은 사진의 양은 좀 적은 듯 싶지만 그래도 내 응원팀인 텍사스 레인저스 경기-일본 야구장 투어 및 그 외의 이야기-미국 야구장 투어 두 곳과 포스트시즌-그랜드 캐년 투어-달라스 야경-여행 정리까지 7개의 글을 써볼 예정이고 그 다음 여행 사진 모두 이 곳의 앨범에 올릴 예정이다.

2. [2017 MLB TOUR(4)] 그랜드 캐년, 광활한 대자연의 신비(1) (Grand Canyon, Mystery of Vast Mother Nature)(1)
여행 동선상 많은 관광지를 방문할 수 없었던 상황이라 약간의 아쉬움이 있었지만 그랜드 캐년 투어 만으로 그 부족함을 달래기에 충분했던 것 같다. 워낙 귀에 익은 곳이라 그 용어의 흔함 만큼이나 큰 기대감을 가지지 않기도 했으나, 왜 많은 이들이 이 곳에 대한 찬사를 아끼지 않는지 그 이유를 충분히 알 수 있었고, '광활한 대자연의 신비' 라는 제목이 오히려 더 부족하게 느껴질 정도였다.
그랜드 캐년 국립공원 안에 여러가지 자연의 창조물 뿐만 아니라 역사적으로 의미있는 장소들 또한 많이 있는데 이번에 내가 방문했던 곳조차도 극히 일부에 불과해서 그런지 다시한번 꼭 방문하여 찬찬히 구석구석 돌아보고 싶다.
(I felt lacking part so it was situation couldn't visit many tourist attractions according to moving line of tour, but I think it was enough to fill the lacking only Grand Canyon tour. Whether it sounds pretty familiar, I hadn't a big expectation as familiar of the word, however I can fully know why many people don't save praise about this place, rather I felt lacking a title 'Mystery of Vast Mother Nature'.
There're many creations of nature and meaningful places in Grand Canyon National Park, I'd like certainly to visit here once again and thoroughly look around everywhere so even place where I have visited this time was extremely only part of Grand Canyon.)

[선인장들(Cactuses)]
Viator라는 웹사이트를 통해 약 $170정도의 'Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon and Sedona Day Trip' 상품을 예약했다. 밴스타일의 차량으로 약 13명이 정원이고, 애리조나 피닉스에서 오전 6시 30분쯤 출발하여 대략 저녁 8시 30분 정도 다시 돌아오는 13시간 정도의 투어였다.
픽업 호텔이 크고 유명한 곳 위주로 정해져있기는 하나, 호텔 목록이 꽤 길어서 해당 호텔에 묵지 않는다고 할지라도 그 근처 호텔로만 숙소를 잡으면 어렵지 않게 투어에 참여할 수 있다. 나같은 경우는 도보 약 15분 정도 거리에 있는 쉐라톤 호텔에서 차량을 탈 수 있었다.
바로 전 날, 항공권 가격 아껴보겠다고 비행기 환승편을 이용하면서 늦은 밤 피닉스에 도착하였다. 그 여파로 인해 그 다음 날 졸린 눈을 비비며 픽업 호텔로 갔고 그렇게 바로 밴에 올라탔는데 새벽 어스름이 깔리기 시작할 때쯤 피닉스를 출발해서 아름다운 일출까지 감상할 수 있었다.
(I've reserved a tour 'Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon and Sedona Day Trip' of about $170 according to website called Viator. It has numbers limited to 13 participants as a full-size van, was a tour to spend 13 hours that departs from Phoenix of Arizona at about 6:30am and comes back at about 8:30pm. Pickup hotel is fixed mainly a big and famous ones, even though it doesn't stay the hotel, it can easily participate this tour if it stays close the hotel cause it has long hotel list. I could ride a car at Sheraton hotel where locates distance about 15 minutes by walk.
The previous day just that, I used Transfer of flight for saving airline's expenses, arrived at the late night in Phoenix. Because of that, I went to Pickup hotel with rubbing my eyes in the next day and just got on the van like that, we departed from Phoenix when it starts to be low half-light of dawn and I could look beautiful sunrise.)
뜨겁고 건조한 날씨로 유명한 애리조나주는 그로 인해 다양한 선인장 또한 보유하고 있다. 가는 길 중간중간 가이드가 선인장에 대해서 설명해주는데 역시나 영어 실력이 부족한 관계로 그 내용은 기억이 나지 않는다. 허나, 육안으로 보기에도 전혀 다른 모습을 하고 있는 다양한 선인장들을 볼 수 있다.
(Arizona state where is famous hot and dry weather also has various cactuses caused by that. Guide was explained about cactus in the middle of the way to go, I don't remember detailed part due to lacking English skill. But it can watch various cactuses which have so different form with the unaided eye.)
[그랜드 캐년 가는 길... (The way to go to Grand Canyon...)]
[벨 락 비스타(Bell Rock Vista)]
끊임없이 이어지는 도로를 달리는 도중 이 곳에서만 볼 수 있었던 특별한 풍경들을 카메라에 담아봤다. 다소 지루하게 느껴질 수도 있었지만 다양한 종류의 꽃과 나무들 그리고 제각각 다른 선인장들이 보노라니 내 자신도 뭔가 자연에 동화된 것 같은 느낌이 들었다고나 할까......
그렇게 한참을 달린 후 붉은 암석을 감상할 수 있는 벨 락 비스타에 다다랐다. 세도나에 위치해있고, 3.6마일의 오솔길이 쭉 이어져있어 Bell Rock과 Courthouse Butte와 그 외 기타 랜드마크의 멋진 모습을 볼 수 있다. 길 대부분이 넓고 단단한 지면으로 이어지지만 일부 가파른 언덕이 있고, 벨 락 주위의 일부 장소는 고르지 않은 바위로 되어있기도 하다.
(I put special views could see only this place by my camera in running expressway constantly. It could feel boring a little, to see various sort of flowers and trees and cactuses, could I say to feel assimilating nature myself......
It reached Bell Rock Vista where can look red rocks after running for a while. It locates in Sedona, can see wonderful view of Bell Rocks and Courthouse Butte and etc Landmarks so it connects 3.6 mile trail. Pathway is almost consist of wide and hard surface, but there are some steep hills, some places near Bell Rock are consist of rough rock.)
[세도나 거리(Sedona Main Street)]
벨 락 비스타에서 멀지 않은 곳에 세도나 메인 스트리트가 있다. 어찌보면 세도나 시의 번화가라고 보면 될 거 같은데 크지는 않아도 쇼핑몰과 음식점, 여행사 외에도 사진에서 보는 것처럼 조각상이 곳곳에 포진되어있고, 시계탑도 있어 뭔가 운치있고 아기자기한 느낌을 받았던 것 같다. 오전 시간에 가서 그런지 몰라도 관광객들이 많지는 않던데 그 자체도 고요하고 아담한 시골 마을의 번화가를 잘 드러내주고 있어보였다.
여행 전 EW 사이트에서 미국팬들에게 그랜드 캐니언 관광 정보에 대해 물어본 적이 있었다. 그 중 한 분이 그랜드 캐년보다 세도나가 더 좋았다고 말씀하셨는데 왜 그런 말씀을 하셨는지 비로소 알 수 있었던 것 같다.
(It's Sedona Main Street close Bell Rock Vista. On the other side, it looks like downtown of Sedona city, There are shopping malls and restaurants and Travel Agency and etc statues like that photos and clock tower no big area, so I got picturesque and cute feeling. Whether we went in early morning, there weren't a lot of tourists, it seemed to express downtown of quite and cozy country village in itself.
I've asked about Grand Canyon's information to Americans on EW sites before going travel. The one guy in the members told Sedona was better than Grand Canyon, I thought I could know why he said like that for the first time.)
[세도나 레드 락 풍경(Red Rock view in Sedona)]
사진에서 보듯이 세도나 메인 스트리트에서도 레드 락을 실컷 볼 수 있다. 가만보니 바위의 컬러에 맞춰 이 번화가의 건물들의 컬러도 맞춘 듯한 느낌인데 아마 내 생각이 맞겠지? 원래 미국도 그렇고 유럽도 마찬가지로 도시개발계획을 세울 때 간판부터 건물까지 주위의 풍경을 모두 고려하여 디자인하고 인가를 받아야 한다고 들었으니 아마 이 곳도 마찬가지일 듯...
우리나라도 몇년 전부터는 신도시를 건설할 때 이런 과정을 거치는 걸로 알고 있는데 여전히 이 나라에 대한 불만도 많지만 그래도 좋은 건 빨리 받아들이고 보완하려는 그 자세는 칭찬해주고 싶다. 다만, 너무 현대적인 느낌으로만 가지 말고 전통을 살리는 방향으로 갔으면 하는 바람 또한 있을 따름이다.
(It can heartily look red rocks in Sedona Main Street like that photos. To see again, I think color of these buildings matches with rocks' color, maybe is my thought right? When it sets urban development plan, I heard it has to design and get permission to considers near landscape from sign to building in case of USA and Europe, it will be here...
I know what proceeds like this process when new town develops from a few years ago in my country, I still have many complaint things about this country, but I want to compliment they quickly try to get good things and supplement lacking parts. However I have a wish that goes through to way to emphasize our tradition than very modern feeling.)
