다람쥐 쳇바퀴 돌아가듯 매일매일 일상을 마주하다보면 우리 삶의 목적이 무엇인지를 자꾸만 잊어버리게 된다. 사는 게 너무 바빠서 혹은 그냥 습관처럼 하루하루를 살아나가는 상황들이 연출이 되곤 하는데 가끔은 이런 상황에서 벗어나 정말 내가 원하는 존재가 된다거나 원하는 곳으로 마냥 떠나고 싶다는 생각을 가지게 될 때가 있다. 내 인생의 주인공은 바로 나 자신이지만 실상은 다른 사람 아니면 다른 어떤 존재를 위해 살고 있는 게 아닐까하는 허탈함에 빠지기도 하고 말이다.
(We put opposite our daily life as squirrel repeat the same thing forever, we forget for what purpose of our life. Living is so busy or it shows situations which are just living as habit day by day, but sometimes it gets out of these situations and I really become success person or I have thinking that I just leave to hoping place. The owner in my life is myself, but also we fall into a state of lethargy that we actually are living for the other person or something.)
매일매일 일상을 반복하던 어느 날 많은 사람들의 분주한 모습을 지켜보면서 내가 왜 이 세상에 태어났는지 그 이유를 알 순 없어도 목적 의식을 얼마나 가지고 살아가고 있는가에 대해 많은 생각을 했던 적이 있었다. 결국은 내가 진정으로 하고 싶은 일을 하면서 좋아하는 사람들과 함께 행복하고 즐겁게 사는 것이 인생의 목표이지 않을까 생각한다. 아마 다른 이들도 마찬가지일 것이고......
(I see busy many people one day of the repeat the same daily and I don'k now why I was burn in the world, but I have thought I am living how much sense of purpose. Finally I think our life's purpose that I do what I want, I am living happily and pleasantly with love people. Maybe someone think like that...)
나에게는 그 중의 하나가 바로 이 야구장 투어이다. 내 버킷 리스트의 최상단을 차지하고 있으며, 한-미-일의 모든 야구장을 돌아보는 것이 가장 큰 꿈으로써 한국의 야구장은 새로 지어지는 곳만 가면 종료되고, 이제 남은 건 미국과 일본이다. 일본은 거리가 가깝기도 하고, 이미 반 정도는 돌아봤으니 아마도 멀지 않은 시일 내에 마무리될 것으로 보이는데 미국은 최소 10 ~ 15년은 걸리지 않을까 예상하고 있다.
(One of that is just Baseball park tour to me. That ranks the best of my bucket list, By looking around of all ball park of Korea and USA and Japan is the biggest dream, one of my dream comes true if I go to new ball park in Korea, after remaining things are USA and Japan.
I think Japan's ball park tour finishes in not long time cause it is close from here and I already looked around about half of ball park, but I'm expecting to take at least 10 years to 15 years that I look around for all ball park in USA.)
올해 2월 트로피카나 필드를 다녀온 것에 이어 다시 7월 MLB 야구장 투어를 시작했다. 여름 휴가 기간을 이용하여 8박 10일 정도로 계획했었지만 미르가 아팠던 관계로 여행 도중 7박 8일로 일정을 줄일 수 밖에 없었다. 그래도 짧은 시간 내에 알차게 여행한 듯 하지만......
(I went to Tropicana Field of Tampa Bay Rays in February, in succession I restarted MLB ball park tour in July. I made to plan for 10 days and 8 days, but I have to reduce 7 days and 8 nights in period of travel cause Mir was sick. Nevertheless I think I do good traveling well in short time.)

여정을 보니 야구장과 함께 가장 많이 방문한 곳이 공항인 것 같다. 시카고 오헤어 공항은 이번 2월에도 들렀었던 곳이지만 이번 여행 때만 방문한 공항이 총 6곳이다. 가히 야구장 투어라기보다는 공항 투어가 아닐런지...... ㅋ
(I think the place the most visiting is airport with ball park looking into this itinerary. I dropped in Chicago-Ohare International Airport in February, anyway visiting airport this traveling is total 6 place. Don't think Airport tour instead of Ball park...... @.@)
세 도시를 방문한 만큼 각각의 도시별로 야구장 투어 - 관광 - 야구 게임 이렇게 3가지 주제와 정리글까지 쓰면 아마도 총 10 ~ 12개의 글을 쓰게 될 것 같다. 물론 글에 들어가는 사진보다 더 많은 사진을 보유하고 있고, 이미 편집 정리도 마친 상태이기는 하나, 사진은 블로그 이사 작업을 마친 후에 올리게 되지 않을까 싶다.
(I'll plan to post separating each other cities as visiting 3 cities and 3 subject of park tour - traveling - baseball game and final arrangement writing , I think I post total 10 to 12 writing. Of course I have more photographs than photographs in writing, I already do photos working, but I think I post more photographs after moving from previous blog to this blog.)
6) [2015 MLB TOUR] 바베큐와 분수의 도시, 캔자스시티(City of barbecue and fountain, Kansas City) (2)
[유니온역 앞 분수(A fountain in front of the Union station in Kansas city)]
앞의 카우프만 스타디움 글에도 썼듯이 캔자스시티는 미주리주와 캔사스주의 경계에 위치해있지만 미주리 주에 속하며 캔사스주의 캔자스시티와는 행정적으로 별개의 도시이지만 이 곳과 미주리주의 인디펜던스 등의 주변 지역을 포함하여 대도시권을 형성하고 있어 세인트루이스 다음으로 인구가 많은 도시라고 한다. 한 마디로 같은 도시가 두 개의 주로 나눠져있다고 보면 되지 않을까 싶다.
(Kansas city locates between Missouri and Kansas state border as I posted Kauffman stadium of previous writing, but this city is belong Missouri state and executively a separate city with Kansas city of Kansas state, but this one is forming the metropolitan area including vicinity area of Kansas city of Kansas state and Independence of Missouri state, so this is populous city next to St. Louis. A word, I think the same city share two state.)
19세기 중반, 철도의 중심지로 발전하기 시작하면서 편리한 교통 덕분에 각종 농축산물의 집산지로 성장했고, 특히 밀과 소의 세계적인 거래지로써 육류와 식료품 가공업이 발달하였다고 한다.
그래서 그런지 캔자스시티에서 가장 유명한 음식이 바베큐이고, 굉장히 많은 바베큐 전문점이 있다고 한다. 원래 맛집을 잘 찾아다니는 스타일은 아닌데 우버 기사 한 분께서 굉장히 유명한 바베큐 전문점이 있다면서 그 곳을 우리에게 알려주셨고, 그 다음날 점심을 먹기 위해 그 곳을 방문했다.

So the most famous food is barbecue, there are a lot of barbecue restaurant. Naturally I am not style going well to famous restaurant, but Uber's driver told us for famous barbecue restaurant, so we visited there for lunch next day.)
이름은 Q39... 그러고보니 그 곳 이름의 유래 좀 물어볼 것을 왜 그 때는 그런 생각을 안했는지 모르겠다. 그냥 배고파서 정신줄을 놓고 있었나...... :)

점심시간이라 그런 것도 있었겠지만 진짜 그 유명세를 느낄 수 있었던 것이 식당 안은 많은 사람들로 붐비고 있었고, 줄까지 서야 했으니까......
대체 얼마나 맛있길래 이런가 싶어서 더 기대감이 올라갔고, 오래 지나지 않아 자리를 잡은 후 가장 만만한 바베큐 립을 주문했다. 사이즈가 4조각, half, 1인분(?) 이런 식으로 있었던 것 같은데 미국 음식점들이 엄청난 양을 자랑하기 때문에 우리 둘 다 half로 시켰다.
그러나 우린 다 먹지 못하고 포장해서 가지고 갈 수 밖에 없었다. 사실 포장해 간 것도 먹을 시간이 없어서 못 먹긴 했었지만 그만큼 엄청난 양을 자랑했고, 그냥 4조각짜리가 딱이었을 것 같다.
양이 많아서 그렇지 진짜 맛은 그 명성대로였다. 특히 소스가 약간 매콤하면서 깊은 맛이 났던 것이 우리나라에서 먹어봤던 그런 립 소스와는 차원이 달랐고, 고기의 살 부분도 엄청 많았으며 사이드 디쉬로 나왔던 샐러드는 기름에 볶았는데도 전혀 느끼하지 않고 고소하면서 담백한 맛이었다. 또 하나의 사이드 디쉬가 바나나 케이크였던 걸로 기억하는데 이것도 많이 달지 않고 맛있었다.
단지, 그냥 양이 너무 많아서 다 먹을 수가 없었다는 게 안타까울 따름이었다.
(It was like that in lunch time, but the reason realizing popularity about here was crowded with many people in the restaurant and we should wait......
If how foods are delicious, people do like that, so our expectation rose more and we ordered the most common barbecue Rib after the seats. Maybe Rib's size was 4 piece and half and a plate, we ordered half both cause American foods' portion are so much.
But I couldn't eat all and should take away foods. In fact, we didn't eat theses so not enough time, but these boasted of much portion as that much, I thought size of 4 piece was suitable.
These portions is much, but the taste was really reputation. Especially sauce having little bit hot and depth of flavor was belong to a different level compare sauce eating in our country and a part of lean meat was much, salad one of side dish wasn't greasy and tasted savory and plain. I remember banana cake was another of side dish, this tasted good and not very sugary.
I just regretted it was too much to eat in all.)

소화시킬 겸 이동한 다음 코스는 넬슨-앳킨스 아트 뮤지엄이었다. 다른 곳과는 달리 무료로 모든 작품을 볼 수 있는 것이 큰 장점인데다 이에 더해 건물 자체가 방대한만큼 굉장히 많은 작품들을 소장하고 있다. 유명한 작품부터 알려지지 않은 작품까지 모두 다 볼 수 있어서 조금 더 특별하게 다가오는 곳이다.
입장하기 전 앞마당에 있는 작품들이 우리의 눈길을 사로잡았다. 솔직히 예술 작품에 대해서는 문외한이기도 하고 제대로 해석한 것인지 잘 모르겠지만 Phlip Haas라는 예술가가 르네상스 시대의 화가인 Giuseppe Arcimboldo(1526~1593)의 사계절 시리즈 작품을 해석해서 만든 조형물이 단연 돋보인다. 사계절이 자연의 순환을 나타내듯이 사람의 성장 과정을 빚대어 만든 참신한 작품이다. 작품명은 원저작 작품명과 같고, Phlip Haas의 가장 유명한 작품 중 하나가 이것이라고 한다.

The the biggest advantages of here can watch every work of art unlikely the other place and this has pretty many working as the building is vast in itself. So everything can see from famous working to unknown working, this specially feel a little bit better.
Works of art in front garden were captivated our eyes before entering. Honestly I don't know well about work of art and to interpret correctly, but sculpture making artist calling Phlip Haas interpretation 'The Four seasons' of Giuseppe Arcimboldo(1526~1593) being an Renaissance painter stood out. This is novel work what makes likening human's progression as four seasons represent the cycle of nature. The name of work is equal to original work, this is one of the most famous work of Phlip Haas.}

항상 가방을 무겁게 가지고 다니기도 하고, 직원분이 안내해주셔서 짐을 보관소에 맡기고, 지하부터 거슬러 올라가는 식으로 작품들을 감상하기 시작했다. 아마 직원분도 그렇게 안내를 해주신 걸로 기억하는데 배치 순서도 지하부터 보면 시대를 거슬러 올라가는 식으로 진행되고, 제일 위층부터 보면 시대의 흐름대로 보는 방식인 것 같다.
아무래도 현대 미술 작품들이 요즘 시대를 잘 반영하고 있기 때문에 가장 눈에 띄기는 하지만 종교를 가지고 있어서 그런지 종교 관련 작품도 참 좋았고, 르네상스 시대의 작품도 그림 자체가 이뻐서 좋았던 것 같다. :)
그리고 각 방마다 이름이 쓰여져 있는데 내 생각엔 이 미술관을 후원해주는 개인이나 단체 등의 이름인 것 같았다.
(Whenever I go to outside, I carry heavy bag and staff said baggage can entrust at coat check room no charge, so I did it and we started watching for works of art form to go back to the basement. I remember staff told us like that, if it sees from basement to the upper floor, it has marched form to go back to the past and if it sees from upstairs to the basement in due order, it can see order of era.
Cause Modern works of art reflects nowadays very well, it is the most visible and I also like work about religion so I believe in a religion, I like work of the Renaissance so beautiful in themselves, too. :)
Also each rooms were written names, I thought the names were personals or group supporting for this place.)

역시 모든 작품을 다 둘러보기는 시간상 어렵기도 했고, 엄청나게 많기도 했다. 고대 이집트부터 그리스, 로마, 르네상스, 현대까지 미술의 역사를 모두 볼 수 있고, 아시아, 중국, 일본 관련 작품들(자주 볼 수 있으니 여긴 패스...)과 실내 데코, 사진까지 많은 작품이 있어서 하루의 시간을 들여야 모두 다 찬찬히 볼 수 있지 않을까 싶다.
하도 오래전에 미술사를 배워서 기억이 안나지만 우리가 익히 들어봤던 폴 고갱(Paul Gauguin), 빈센트 반 고흐(Vincent van Gogh), 클로드 모네(Claude Monet), 폴 세잔(Paul Cezanne), 장 프랑수아 밀레(Jean-François Millet), 프란시스코 고야(Francisco de Goya) 등의 유명 작품들도 있으니 미술 전공하는 친구들에게도 큰 도움이 될 것 같다.
{It was so difficult looking around every works due to scant time and there were huge number of works. we can see all of fine art's history to Greece, Rome, Renaissance, Modern since ancient Egypt and there are many works add about Asia, China, Japan(pass so often seeing) and decoration, photographs, so I think it can see all works in detail having to spend one day.
I don't remember I learned art of history a long time ago, but there are famous works of Paul Gauguin and Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet and Paul Cezanne and Jean-François Millet and Francisco de Goya, etc, so it seems to help for students major in art.)}

넬슨-앳킨스 미술관 안에는 또 하나의 명물이 있는데 바로 카페이다. 분수가 많은 도시답게 내부에 작은 분수도 있고, 뭔가 유럽에 온 듯한 기분을 느끼게 해주는 실내 인테리어가 돋보이는 곳이다. 이 곳은 직원이 서빙해주지는 않고, 직접 카운터에 가서 원하는 음식이나 음료를 사오면 된다.
점심식사 후에 쉬지 않고 계속 걸었기 때문에 잠시 이 곳에서 주스를 마시며 휴식을 취했다. 바로 야구장에 가야 하는 상황이어서 이 곳이 미술관에서의 마지막으로 들른 곳이 되었다.
(There is another feature in Nelson-Atkins art museum, it is a cafe. There is a small fountain like city of much fountains inside and this looks better interior feeling being in Europe. Staffs don't serve here, it should go to the counter and buy hoping foods or drink.
Because we walked without rest for a long time after lunch, we had a glass of juice and break time here. This place was dropped in latest in the art museum, so we just have to go to ball park.)
