다람쥐 쳇바퀴 돌아가듯 매일매일 일상을 마주하다보면 우리 삶의 목적이 무엇인지를 자꾸만 잊어버리게 된다. 사는 게 너무 바빠서 혹은 그냥 습관처럼 하루하루를 살아나가는 상황들이 연출이 되곤 하는데 가끔은 이런 상황에서 벗어나 정말 내가 원하는 존재가 된다거나 원하는 곳으로 마냥 떠나고 싶다는 생각을 가지게 될 때가 있다. 내 인생의 주인공은 바로 나 자신이지만 실상은 다른 사람 아니면 다른 어떤 존재를 위해 살고 있는 게 아닐까하는 허탈함에 빠지기도 하고 말이다.
(We put opposite our daily life as squirrel repeat the same thing forever, we forget for what purpose of our life. Living is so busy or it shows situations which are just living as habit day by day, but sometimes it gets out of these situations and I really become success person or I have thinking that I just leave to hoping place. The owner in my life is myself, but also we fall into a state of lethargy that we actually are living for the other person or something.)
매일매일 일상을 반복하던 어느 날 많은 사람들의 분주한 모습을 지켜보면서 내가 왜 이 세상에 태어났는지 그 이유를 알 순 없어도 목적 의식을 얼마나 가지고 살아가고 있는가에 대해 많은 생각을 했던 적이 있었다. 결국은 내가 진정으로 하고 싶은 일을 하면서 좋아하는 사람들과 함께 행복하고 즐겁게 사는 것이 인생의 목표이지 않을까 생각한다. 아마 다른 이들도 마찬가지일 것이고......
(I see busy many people one day of the repeat the same daily and I don'k now why I was burn in the world, but I have thought I am living how much sense of purpose. Finally I think our life's purpose that I do what I want, I am living happily and pleasantly with love people. Maybe someone think like that...)
나에게는 그 중의 하나가 바로 이 야구장 투어이다. 내 버킷 리스트의 최상단을 차지하고 있으며, 한-미-일의 모든 야구장을 돌아보는 것이 가장 큰 꿈으로써 한국의 야구장은 새로 지어지는 곳만 가면 종료되고, 이제 남은 건 미국과 일본이다. 일본은 거리가 가깝기도 하고, 이미 반 정도는 돌아봤으니 아마도 멀지 않은 시일 내에 마무리될 것으로 보이는데 미국은 최소 10 ~ 15년은 걸리지 않을까 예상하고 있다.
(One of that is just Baseball park tour to me. That ranks the best of my bucket list, By looking around of all ball park of Korea and USA and Japan is the biggest dream, one of my dream comes true if I go to new ball park in Korea, after remaining things are USA and Japan.
I think Japan's ball park tour finishes in not long time cause it is close from here and I already looked around about half of ball park, but I'm expecting to take at least 10 years to 15 years that I look around for all ball park in USA.)
올해 2월 트로피카나 필드를 다녀온 것에 이어 다시 7월 MLB 야구장 투어를 시작했다. 여름 휴가 기간을 이용하여 8박 10일 정도로 계획했었지만 미르가 아팠던 관계로 여행 도중 7박 8일로 일정을 줄일 수 밖에 없었다. 그래도 짧은 시간 내에 알차게 여행한 듯 하지만......
(I went to Tropicana Field of Tampa Bay Rays in February, in succession I restarted MLB ball park tour in July. I made to plan for 10 days and 8 days, but I have to reduce 7 days and 8 nights in period of travel cause Mir was sick. Nevertheless I think I do good traveling well in short time.)

여정을 보니 야구장과 함께 가장 많이 방문한 곳이 공항인 것 같다. 시카고 오헤어 공항은 이번 2월에도 들렀었던 곳이지만 이번 여행 때만 방문한 공항이 총 6곳이다. 가히 야구장 투어라기보다는 공항 투어가 아닐런지...... ㅋ
(I think the place the most visiting is airport with ball park looking into this itinerary. I dropped in Chicago-Ohare International Airport in February, anyway visiting airport this traveling is total 6 place. Don't think Airport tour instead of Ball park...... @.@)
세 도시를 방문한 만큼 각각의 도시별로 야구장 투어 - 관광 - 야구 게임 이렇게 3가지 주제와 정리글까지 쓰면 아마도 총 10 ~ 12개의 글을 쓰게 될 것 같다. 물론 글에 들어가는 사진보다 더 많은 사진을 보유하고 있고, 이미 편집 정리도 마친 상태이기는 하나, 사진은 블로그 이사 작업을 마친 후에 올리게 되지 않을까 싶다.
(I'll plan to post separating each other cities as visiting 3 cities and 3 subject of park tour - traveling - baseball game and final arrangement writing , I think I post total 10 to 12 writing. Of course I have more photographs than photographs in writing, I already do photos working, but I think I post more photographs after moving from previous blog to this blog.)

[100년이 넘은 캔자스시티 유니온역(Union station of Kansas city being more than 100 years)]
우리가 묵었던 아담스 마크 호텔은 카우프만 스타디움까지 도보 15 ~ 20분만에 갈 수 있는 거리였어서 호텔 내부와 바에 야구 관련한 부분이 많았고, 경기 전후에는 셔틀 버스도 운행하고 있다. 한 대 밖에 운행을 안해서 성급한 사람들은 걸어가는 게 더 빠른 게 문제겠지만....... ㅋ 어쨌든 이것 외에는 로비도 깔끔하고 시설 자체도 가격 대비해서 꽤 괜찮은 수준이었던 것 같다.
방의 크기도 적당하고 깔끔하니 괜찮았으나 에어컨이 너무 빵빵하게 나와서 거의 끄고 지냈던 것 같다. 밖은 더웠는데 안은 추웠으니 감기 걸리지 않게 조심해야 할 듯...
(Adam's Mark Hotel staying us locates distance going 15 to 20 minutes by walk to Kauffman stadium, so there were a lot of things about baseball at inside of Hotel and bar and it is running for shuttle bus previous and later game. The problem is only one vehicle, so impatient people's walking quicker than vehicle. :) Anyway lobby is clean and pretty good compared price except shuttle bus.
Room was suitable and clean, but I thought air-conditioner almost turn off while we were staying here. It looks like careful influenza......)

정선 언니와 함께하기 시작한 7/21에는 유니온 역과 그 안에 있는 사이언스 시티를 다녀왔고, 7/22에는 Q39이라는 유명한 맛집 그리고 넬슨-앳킨스 미술관을 다녀왔다. 더 많은 곳을 돌아봤으면 좋았겠지만 우리의 목적은 야구장 투어이기도 했고, 너무 빡빡한 일정을 소화하는 것도 싫어했기 때문에 여유롭게 다니기로 했다.
여러가지로 정선 언니와 마음이 많이 맞았던 것이 주목적도 같고, 빡빡하게 여행 다니는 것도 싫어하는데다 삶에 대한 가치관도 상당히 일치해서 좋은 여행 파트너가 생긴 것 같아 무척이나 기뻤다. 솔직히 혼자 여행다니는 것을 좋아하고, 누군가와 함께 다니는 것을 불편해하는 스타일인데 정선 언니는 그런 게 전혀 없었다. :)
(we went to Science city Union station and Science city inside with Catherine in July 21, we went to famous restaurant calling Q39 and Nelson-Atkins art museum. It was good to us if we went more than place, but our purpose was ball park tour and we comfortably decided looking around cause we didn't like to digest very much schedule.
In some ways, I got along well with Catherine that main purpose of traveling is same and it doesn't like hectically traveling, we are pretty similar values about life, I come into being a good tour partner and I was glad much. Honestly I like traveling alone and I am uncomfortable traveling with someone, but she wasn't at all. :) )

사이언스 시티 입구를 찾는 데 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸렸다. 그나마 정선 언니가 영어를 잘하셔서 인포데스크 직원에게 물어본 후 금방 해결은 되었지만 사이언스 시티를 찾는 주 연령층이 아이들이어서 그랬는지 '어른 아이' 라며 농담을 던지시더라... ㅋ
그냥 여러가지 여행 정보를 알아봤을 때 괜찮은 곳이라고 했고, 사실 난 '어른 아이' 는 맞는 것 같다. 그런데 정선 언니도 이런 거 좋아하신다고... ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
입구에 들어서면 아인슈타인 판넬이 관람객들을 맞이해준다. 이름처럼 과학적인 물건들이 많이 있고, 그에 따른 발명품도 있지 않을까 생각했었는데 그 생각과는 달리 우리 실생활에 사용되는 여러가지 것들의 원리를 설명해주면서 몸소 체험할 수 있게 해준다.
(It took so long time finding entrance of Science city. Anyway my friend has good English and it was just solved after asking Information desk's staff, but she made a joke 'grown-up kid' to us so main age group to find to the Science city is kids...:)
When I just searched some information about tour, it said this is good place and actually I think I am 'grown-up kid'. But my friend told me that she likes this... :)
Going into entrance Einstein's board welcome to visitors. There were a lot of scientific stuffs and I thought there were some inventions about it, but they explain some stuffs' principle to use our real life and make us experience.)

1층에서부터 지하까지 여러가지 것들이 배치되어 있고, 설명을 잘 읽어보면서 체험하면 되는데 이 곳도 엄청나게 많은 코너가 있어서 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸린다. 그렇기에 역시 야구장을 가야 하는 우리는 모두 다 볼 수 없었으니 그게 좀 아쉬웠다.
1층에는 자석과 철을 이용해서 모형을 만들어보는 곳, 인간의 생체 에너지를 인식해서 스크린에 보여주는 곳, 베르누이 이론, 여러가지 놀이 기구, 형광 미로, 멜로디 파크, Mister E Hotel, 에너지 응용 코너, 스카이 바이크, 헬기 등의 코너가 있다. 우린 1층에 있는 이 코스들은 거의 다 돌아본 것 같고, 과학 지식을 돌아볼 수 있는 계기도 되었던 것 같다.
(There are many things from one floors to basement and it should experience reading description well, it takes a long time so having many course. Therefore we couldn't see all things what have to go to ball park and it was regrettable.

그 다음으로 가본 곳은 우주선을 재현한 공간이었다. 실제 우주 비행사들이 어떤 생활을 하는지 볼 수 있고, 산소가 없는 우주가 어떤지를 잘 보여주고 있는 곳이었다.
지하로 내려가면 또 많은 코스들이 있고, 다양한 체험을 할 수 있다. 작게나마 놀이터도 따로 있고, 물에 대한 다양한 정보와 특별한 체험을 할 수 있는 곳도 있으며 100년 이상의 역사를 자랑하는 유니온 역의 과거와 기차의 원리를 설명하는 공간도 있다. 줄다리기의 원리(이기는 방법 안 알려줌!!ㅋ), 아이들이 좋아하는 공룡 연구실도 있고, 메아리의 원리를 설명하는 곳과 실제 속도로 도는 지구를 재현한 공간, 나무와 새집, 식물들 외 우리가 보지 못한 곳이 더 많은 것 같다.
(The next course was a space reemerging spacecraft. It can see how real astronaut is living in the space and is showing how universe nothing oxygen.
There are a lot of courses in basement and you can enjoying various experience. It has a small play ground, can do various information and special experience about water, a space where explains Union station's history to boast of more than 100 years and train's theory. There are a theory of tug of war(Won't let know how to win!! :) ), Dinosaur lab to prefer kids, to explain echo's theory and a space to reemerge earth what turn actual speed, a tree and bird's nest, plants and etc, I think the place not watching is much more.)

이 곳 폐장 시간이 되어서 나온 후 잠깐 살 것이 있어서 크라운 플라자만 들렀다가 야구장으로 출발했다. 야구장 외에 한 곳만 둘러보기는 했어도 정말 알차게 시간을 보낸 것 같아 뿌듯했고, 여러가지 체험도 할 수 있어서 즐거웠었다.
정선 언니도 마찬가지로 즐거워하셔서 더 기분이 좋았던 것 같다.
(We dropped by Crown plaza so I had to buy something after closing hours and went to start to ball park. We looked around only one place except ball park, anyway I filled my heart as spending solid time and was exciting so to do some experience. I feel better that my friend was exciting, too.)
