버킷 리스트를 달성하기 위해 달려온지도 벌써 3년째......
미르가 떠난 후 이제 나에게 남은 건 MLB 야구와 이 버킷 리스트 뿐이라 어려운 상황임에도 불구하고 올해도 나의 인생 계획을 실행해 나가기로 했고, 그렇게 4월 11일부터 4월 22일까지 다소 짧은 기간동안 미국 캘리포니아 주로 여행을 떠났다. 2015년은 플로리다 템파, 밀워키, 캔사스시티, 피츠버그 등 미국 중남부 지역, 2016년 작년은 필라델피아와 피츠버그(2번째), 마이애미, 텍사스 주 알링턴과 달라스 그리고 포트워스, 워싱턴 DC, 뉴욕, 세인트루이스 등 미국 동남부지역과 중부지역을 다녀왔으니 캘리포니아 주는 이번이 첫 여행이었던 것이다.
적당한 더위는 몰라도 원체 무더위를 싫어하는 편이라서 캘리포니아 지역은 나중으로 계속 미뤄두고 있었다. 허나, 마침 4월이라는 이른 시기였고, 정치적으로 민감한 미국 상황상 그래도 리버럴이 많은 캘리포니아 주가 나름 편안할 것 같아 어렵지 않게 결정하게 되었다.

Because the thing that lately remains to me after Mir passed away is just this bucket list, even though it's tough situation to me, I decided to execute my life plan likewise this year, left to California of USA for a little period from Apr, 11 to Apr, 22 like that. I've been to central-southern state of USA where were Tampa(Florida) and Milwaukee(Wisconsin) and Kansas City(Missouri) and Pittsburgh(Pennsylvania) and etc in 2015, to eastern-southern and central state of USA where were Philadelphia and Pittsburgh(the 2nd time) of Pennsylvania and Miami(Florida) and Arlington and Dallas and Fort Worth(Texas) and Washington DC and New York and St. Louis(Missouri) and etc last year in 2016, tour of California state has been the first journey this year.
I naturally hate swelter a lot except suitable heat weather, so I've been postponed California tour later. But It was finally early time being April and it looked like comfortable atmosphere cause I thought California state has a lot of liberals, so I could decide not difficulty.)

더 많은 관광지를 방문할 계획이었으나 나리타 공항에서 환승하는 도중 delay 되었고, LA 공항에서 애너하임까지 이동할 때 러시아워로 인해 오랜 시간이 걸렸으며 체크인 시간까지 지연되는 등 첫날부터 여러가지 이슈들로 인해 체력적으로 너무 지쳐서 애너하임에서는 아주 중요한 일정만 남기고 다 취소해야했다. 주목적은 MLB 야구장 투어였기에 과감하게 버릴 수 있었던 것이다.
항상 하던대로 여행-볼파크 투어-야구 경기 등 세 챕터로 나눠 리뷰를 쓸 예정이지만 샌디에고 여행, 샌프란시스코 여행, 펫코 파크 투어, AT&T 파크 투어, 텍사스 레인저스의 애너하임 어웨이 게임, 다저 스타디움과 경기, 샌프란시스코 자이언츠와 콜로라도 로키스 게임, 텍사스 레인저스의 오클랜드 어웨이 게임, 정리까지 중요한 이벤트 위주로 글을 쓰게 되면 대충 13개 정도로 마무리지을 수 있을 것 같다.
(I planed to visit much more tourist attractions, but I was so tired physically by some issues cause it was delayed transfer to LAX in Narita Intl' Airport and It was rush hour when I moved from LAX to Anaheim, it was delayed even check-in, I cancelled all tour schedules except only very important schedule in Anaheim. Main goal was MLB ball Park tour, so I could dramastically erase.
I'm going to post reviews to divide three chapters of tour-ball park tour-baseball game like I always did, however I'll be able to end about 13 writing if it posts San Diego tour, San Francisco tour, Petco Park tour, AT&T Park tour, away games of Texas Rangers in Anaheim, Dodger stadium and game, games of San Francisco and Colorado Rockies, away games of Texas Rangers in Oakland, a close writing.)
10. [MLB BALL PARK TOUR(15)] AT&T 파크 : 샌프란시스코 자이언츠의 홈구장 (AT&T Park : Home of the San Francisco Giants)
[AT&T 파크(AT&T Park)]
MLB를 다시 좋아하기 시작한 이후 가장 가보고 싶은 구장이 바로 이 AT&T 파크였는데 이번 여행에서 제대로 소원풀이를 할 수 있었던 것 같다. 바닷가 도시에서 태어나 바다를 물리게 봤음에도 불구하고 항상 바다를 보면 뭔가 탁 트이면서도 낭만적인 느낌이 들어 참 좋아하는데 AT&T 파크가 바로 그 바다를 끼고 있는 야구장이다. 맥코비 만과 사우스비치 항구 그리고 도심의 고층 건물들과 베이 브릿지까지 야구장 자체 뿐만이 아니라 그 주위의 풍경까지 어우러져 매우 낭만적이고 아름다운 장관을 연출하는 야구장이다.
최근 2010, 2012, 2014년을 포함하여(2010년은 텍사스 레인저스 팬으로써 웁니다... ㅜㅜ) 월드 시리즈 8회 우승과 함께 MLB에서 다섯 손가락 안에 드는 아름다운 야구장을 가진 샌프란시스코 자이언츠 팬들은 꽤나 행복할 것 같다.
{The ball park that I want to go the most was just AT&T Park after I start to like MLB again, I thought I could properly fulfill my wish in this tour. Even though I was born in the ocean city and have seen a sea, I like a lot so it feels wide-open and romantic something whenever I see a sea, AT&T Park is just the ball park alongside with the ocean. This place's a ball park where is very romantic and presents a grand sight so it mixes with ball park and the close landscape including McCovey Cove and South Beach Harbor and high-rise buildings and Bay Bridge.
I think San Francisco Giants' fans are pretty happy to have beautiful ball park where almost ranks within the top 5 in MLB with 8 victory of World Series including recently 2010 and 2012 and 2014(I cry as I'm Texas Rangers fan in 2010... T.T)}
[AT&T 파크 외부(Outside AT&T Park)]
4월 20일 샌프란시스코에서의 마지막 날, AT&T 파크 투어를 하기 위해 피곤한 몸을 이끌고 숙소를 나섰다.
엠바르카데로 BART역에서 뮤니레일(E, KT, N선)로 갈아탄 후 2nd & King 역에서 내리면 AT&T 파크가 바로 앞에 있다. 윌리 메이스 광장(홈플레이트 입구)을 지나 왼쪽으로 돌면 쭉 펼쳐진 바다(맥코비 만)를 볼 수 있고, 그렇게 또 왼쪽 산책길로 쭉 걸어가면 사우스비치 항구가 나온다. 이 곳에서 배를 빌릴 수도 있으며 바다 쪽으로 길이 나 있어(자이언츠 프라머네이드) 저 바다 너머의 풍경을 감상할 수 있다.
가끔 홈팀 타자들의 홈런볼이 우측 펜스를 넘어 이 맥코비 만으로 떨어지는데 이를 스플래시 히트라고 한다. 가끔 스플래시 히트 상황이 발생하면 그 홈런볼을 차지하기 위해 배를 탄 사람들의 쟁탈전이 벌어지고, 우리도 가끔 이 모습을 중계로 확인할 수 있다. 이 장면보고 키득키득 웃었던 기억이... 아마 저 사우스비치 항구에서 그 배들을 빌리는 것 같다. :)
또한 해변 산책로 중간중간에 자이언츠 선수들의 의미있는 기록이 새겨진 기념물이 바닥에 박혀 있어 자이언츠 팬들에게는 꽤 의미가 있을 듯 싶다.
(The last day of San Francisco Apr 20, I had tiredness and went out for AT&T Park Tour.
It gets off 2nd & King Station after transferring to Muni rail(E, KT, N Line) at Embarcadero BART Station, can just see AT&T Park. It turns left through Willie Mays Plaza(Home plate entrance) and can look spreadable ocean(McCovey Cove), walks straight at left San Francisco Bay trail and is South Beach Harbor. It rents boats in this place, can look view beyond sea so it has Giants Promenade.
Sometimes a home-run ball of home batters drop to the McCovey Cove over right fence, this is Splash Hit. Sometimes it happens Splash Hit, people to take boats struggle for win the ball, we can sometimes watch this scene by baseball broadcasting. To remember laughing due to this scene... Maybe it seems to rent that boats at the South Beach harbor. :)
Also there're some memorials which was carved significant record of Giants players to embed to the ground in middle of ocean promenade, I think it is good to Giants fans.)

AT&T 파크 외부의 맥코비 만과 샌프란시스코 베이 트레일을 둘러보기 이전에 이 곳을 먼저 찬찬히 둘러보았는데 매장 크기도 어마어마하게 크고, 관련 상품도 굉장히 많아서 자세히 둘러보려면 최소 30분은 걸린다. 게다가 나처럼 뭔가 자그마한 기념품이라도 사려면 더 여유있게 시간을 잡아야 할 것 같고......
이 곳 2층 키즈매장 쪽에 파크 투어를 시작하는 입구가 있는데 내가 파크 투어를 할 땐 이 곳으로 들어가지는 않았다.

Thoroughly I had looked this place before looking around McCovey Cove and San Francisco Bay Trail of outside AT&T Park, it spends about 30 minutes at least if it looks around this place in detail cause this space is huge and there are a lot of goods. Besides I think it should sufficiently plan more if if tries to buy some souvenirs......
There's an entrance to start Park Tour on way to 2nd floor's kids of this place, I didn't come this place when I did park tour.)

AT&T 파크 투어는 매일 10:30am / 12:30pm에 하고 있고, 6월 ~ 8월까지는 11:30am / 1:30pm도 추가로 가능하다고 하니 추가 시간을 이용할 경우는 미리 예약을 하는 게 좋을 거 같다. 난 어차피 4월에 간거니 클럽하우스 스토어에서 12:30pm 투어 티켓을 산 것이지만...... 그리고 투어 일정이 없는 날도 따로 홈페이지(http://m.mlb.com/sf/tickets/info/ballpark-tours)에 공지가 되어있으니 꼭 확인하고 가야 한다.
AT&T 파크 투어의 시작은 3층 홈관중석에 앉아 야구장 전체의 모습을 감상하며 여러가지 설명을 듣는 것이었다. 역시 영어 실력이 부족하여 어떤 설명을 들었는지 거의 기억에 없지만 저 앞에 언급한 스플래시 히트에 대한 이야기는 기억이 난다. 물론 숫자까지는 기억이 안나서 찾아봤는데 112개로 홈팀 선수들은 72개, 어웨이팀 선수들은 40개를 기록했다.
사진에서 보는 것처럼 좌측에는 대형 코카콜라 병과 글러브, 중간에는 전광판, 우측에는 Levis Landing이라 쓰여진 특이한 구조물이 저 뒤의 샌프란시스코 만과 어우러져 장관을 연출하고 있다.
(AT&T Park Tour is doing at 10:30am / 12:30pm everyday, additional tours are available at 11:30am / 1:30pm in June and July and August, it will be good to reserve beforehand if it uses additional tours. I bought a ticket of 12:30pm in the clubhouse store so I had gone in April...... And the days that tour isn't planed are announcing on website(http://m.mlb.com/sf/tickets/info/ballpark-tours), it must go after checking its schedule.
Starting of AT&T Park Tour was course that sits home seats in the 3rd floor and looks a whole ball park and listens some explanation. Also I didn't almost remember what did I listen so my English skill lacks, but I remember about Splash hit as mentioned in the head. Of course I didn't remember, so I found its count, home players recorded 72 and away players recorded as it's 112 until now.
It displays great spectacle a big bottle of Coca Cola and glove in the left way, electronic scoreboard in the middle way, unique structure written 'Levis Landing' like seen that photos being in harmony with San Francisco Bay behind that.)
AT&T 파크는 대표적인 투수 친화적인 구장이다. 우측 펜스가 94미터로 굉장히 짧은 편이지만 Levis Landing 건물의 벽에 맞아 나온 타구들이 3루타를 많이 양산해내기는 하나, 그에 비해 맥코비 만에서 불어오는 해풍과 짧은 거리를 보완하기 위해 펜스를 높인 것이 홈런을 상당히 억제하면서 특히 좌타자가 홈런을 치기 어려운 투수 친화적인 구장이 되었다.
(AT&T Park is a representable pitcher-friendly ball park. Right fence's very short as 94m, but batted balls hit on the wall of structure 'Levis Landing' make a lot of triple, but high-fence for remedying sea breeze blowing from McCovey Cove and short distance comparing that keeps home-run down, especially it became a pitcher-friendly ball park where left handed batter is difficult to hit home-run.)

이 곳에도 몇 개의 스위트룸이 있는데 그 중 토니 베넷 스위트룸을 들어갔다. 토니 베넷은 전설적인 재즈 가수이자 배우, 화가이며 "I left my heart in San Francisco" 가 있는 앨범으로 그래미 어워드에서 1963년 "올해의 레코드상", "올해의 남자 가수상"을 수상하였다. 이런 인연 때문인지 샌프란시스코 자이언츠가 동상까지 건립해주었고, 이렇게 토니 베넷의 이름을 딴 룸까지 있는데 이 방에서 본 풍경이 매우 아름답다. 저 좌측 펜스 뒤로 보이는 다리가 베이 브릿지인데 이렇게 보는 각도에 따라 느낌이 달라지는 것이 AT&T 파크의 매력이다.
(There're some sweat rooms in this place, we entered Tony Bennett's sweat room in the room. Tony Bennett's legendary Jazz singer and actor and artist, was awarded "Record of the Year", "Best Solo Vocal Performance, Male" in 1963 Grammy awards about album "I left my heart in San Francisco". San Francisco Giants built his statue, there is a room named Tony Bennett like this, landscape to look in this room is very beautiful. The bridge that shows behind the left fence is Bay Bridge, The part that landscape changes depending on seen angle is also attraction of AT&T Park.)
[버진 아메리카 클럽 레벨(Virgin America Club Level)]
[샌프란시스코 자이언츠 기념관(Memorial Hall of San Francisco Giants)]
다음으로 들어간 곳은 버진 아메리카 클럽 레벨이라고 여기도 비싼 티켓을 사서 들어가야 하는 곳인 것 같다. 혹은 단체나... 식음료를 먹으며 경기를 즐길 수 있는 것 같고, 통로를 따라 쭉 가다보면 이렇게 샌프란시스코 자이언츠의 기념물들이 전시되어 있다. 주로 월드시리즈 우승에 관련된 물건들이 많은 것 같고, 선수들 사인볼이나 버블헤드, 대형 캐릭터 모형 등 아기자기한 느낌의 것들도 많이 볼 수 있다.
(The next place's Virgin America Club Level, I think this place can also enter to purchase expensive ticket. Or group... It seems to enjoy game eating food and drink, goes straight along hallway and memorials of San Francisco like this is exhibited. There're mainly things about World Series champion, it can see a lot of cute things like Players' sign balls or their's bubbleheads and big cartoon characters.)

샌프란시스코 자이언츠의 월드시리즈 우승을 기념하여 티파니 앤 코에서 만든 우승 트로피인데 백금 외 여러 보석으로 만들어졌다고 가이드가 설명해준 것 같다. 아주 비싼 건 아니라고 했던 듯 싶으나 저 정도의 크기면 그래도 꽤 비싸겠지... 우승 반지마저 한눈에 봐도 금과 다이아몬드로 되어있는 것을 알 수 있다. 내 1, 2번째 응원팀 텍사스 레인저스와 워싱턴 내셔널스는 언제쯤 저 우승 트로피와 반지를 받아볼 수 있을까..... 그나마 내츠가 좀 더 가까운 듯 하지만.....
(These are winning trophies producing from Tiffany & Co. to commemorate World Series champions of San Francisco, It looked like tour guide explained that these made by platinum and etc jewel. I remember these weren't very expensive, but it'll be pretty expensive as size like that... It can know to consist of gold and diamond even champion rings. When can Texas Ranger and Washington Nationals being my first and second support team get trophy and ring of that World series championship...... Anyway Nats seems more closed......)

투어 바로 전 경기 일정이 로키스 vs 자이언츠였고, 자이언츠는 바로 어웨이 게임을 떠났던 상황이라 클럽하우스 입구에는 콜로라도 로키스의 이름표가 여전히 붙어있었다. 올해 펫코 파크 투어도 그렇고 이 AT&T 파크 투어에서도 클럽 하우스를 들어갈 수 있었다. 물론 NPB 야후돔 갔을 때도 어웨이 클럽 하우스에 들어간 적은 있지만 MLB는 올해 두 번이나 들어갈 수 있었으니 클럽 하우스 구경은 원 없이 한 것 같다.
천조국의 야구장답게 클럽하우스 규모도 크고, 옆의 공간 사진을 제대로 안 찍어서 그렇지 당연히 화장실은 있고, 공간 상으로는 휴게실 아니면 샤워실도 있는 것 같아 보이긴 했다.
(Game schedule before just tour was Rockies vs Giants, It was still sticking name of Colorado Rockies on wall of Club entrance so Giants was doing away game. I could enter into club house in the AT&T Park's tour with Petco Park's tour this year. Of course, I've entered into visitor club house when I went to Yahoo dome in NPB, but I think it looks club house without remorse cause I could enter into there twice.
Club house has a big scale such ball park of USA, though I didn't properly take a picture next place, there's surely rest-room and it seems to have lounge or bathroom in terms of space.)
[1루 덕아웃(Dugout at first base)]
[AT&T 파크 그라운드(AT&T Park's ground)]
AT&T 파크 투어의 마지막 코스인 덕아웃...... 샌프란시스코 자이언츠도 홈팀은 3루, 어웨이팀은 1루 덕아웃을 사용한다. 그래도 1루를 홈 덕아웃으로 사용하는 팀이 더 많은 거 같긴 하지만 3루를 쓰는 팀도 은근히 많은 느낌이다. 덕아웃과 사진기자석이 나눠져있지 않아서 그런지 덕아웃이 은근 넓직한 느낌이고, 역시 오렌지색의 벽면이 잘 어울린다.
다른 사람들이 덕아웃 근처에서 웃고 즐기며 사진을 찍는 동안 난 홈플레이트 뒤쪽으로 이동하여 그라운드에서 본 AT&T 파크의 전체 모습을 담아보았다. 역시 보는 여러 각도에 따라 판이하게 다른 느낌을 주는 만큼 그라운드에서 보는 AT&T 파크의 모습도 인상적이었다. 다시 한번 말하지만 이것이 바로 AT&T 파크의 매력......
(The dugout being last course of AT&T Park...... San Francisco Giants uses 3rd base dugout by home, away teams use the 1st base dugout. Anyway I think teams to use home's dugout for 1st base are much more, but I think not a little teams use the 3rd base by home dugout. Dugout slightly feels large and also matches with wall of orange color well.
I moved to behind home plate and took some pictures a whole landscape of AT&T Park to look in the ground while another people smiled and enjoyed and took a picture near dugout. As it can completely get different feeling depending on some angle, I was also impressive AT&T Park's view to see in the ground. This's just attraction of AT&T Park......)
[윌리 메이스 게이트 앞(In front of Willie Mays)]
덕아웃에서 윌리 메이스 게이트 근처를 지난 후 클럽하우스 스토어로 돌아오는 것이 이 투어의 마지막이었다. 다른 구장과 마찬가지로 이 곳도 대략 1.5시간 정도 걸렸는데 그 시간이 너무 짧게 느껴진 것 같다. 샌프란시스코에서 살고 싶은 만큼이나 AT&T파크가 너무 좋아서 이 곳에 살면서 매일 경기를 보러 가고 싶다. 문제는 내가 가장 좋아하는 팀의 홈구장이 아니라는 것과 다저 스타디움 못지 않게 비싼 티켓값을 자랑한다는 것이지만......
아, 정말 이 곳에서 살고 싶은 마음이 간절하다. 너무 좋다. ❤️👍😂
(The thing that returned clubhouse store after from dugout along near Willie Mays Gate was the last moment of this tour. It spent about 1.5 hours here alike another ball parks, I felt too short about the time. I like AT&T Park very much as living in San Francisco, so I want live here and go watching game.
