완성된 모습을 보면 그래도 나름 만족스럽긴 하다. 디자인을 처음 시작할 때 머리를 쥐어짜며 어떤 배경 레이아웃과 어떤 색상을 사용하여 너무 산만하지 않게 또는 깔끔하게 만들 수 있을까 고심하며 엄청난 시간을 할애하는데 결국 시안만 잡히면 일사천리로 일이 진행된다. 그러다가 또 더디게 진행되는 순간이 오는데 바로 오타를 잡고 실제 인쇄될 레이아웃에 따라 위치를 조정할 때이다.
이 과정 하나하나를 겪어내고 이겨내다보면 기술적이든 심리적이든 또 한 단계 성장했다는 느낌이 들고 결과물을 받아보면 약간의 아쉬움은 보일지라도 충분히 만족스럽다.
(To see completed output, I feel satisfied. When I start to design at first, my head squeezes and I consider how I can create not very crowded of tidy to use which background layouts and colors, it spends huge time, finally work progresses with lightning speed if it settles on a draft proposal. Then the moment that processes slowly comes again, it is just the time modifies miswriting and adjusts location by layout to print actually.
It experiences and overcomes this process one by one, I feel grown-up one step once again either technical thing or psycologic thing, even though it seems a little lacking part if I get output, I'm fully satisfied.)
디자인 시안을 모아놓으니 좀 복잡해 보인다. 역시 여기에 들어간 모든 사진들은 다 내가 직접 찍은 것들이고, 포토샵 프로그램을 이용해서 직접 디자인한 달력이라 더 뿌듯할 따름이다. 일러스트로 만드는 캐릭터만 좀 더 추가하면 좀 더 다양한 느낌을 줄 수 있을 것 같은데 언제 배우지.......
(Gathering design's draft proposals, it seems crowded a little bit. Also all photos put into that calendar are things that took photography by myself, that is a calendar that I designed by myself, so I am just tremendous a little more. If only caricature by Illustrator tool adds a little more, it looks like to give more various feeling, when can I learn that......)
사실 앞표지와 뒷표지는 거의 보지 않기 때문에 항상 대충 만들고 마는데 오히려 더 깔끔하게 잘 나오는 듯한 느낌이다. 앞표지의 글자는 무지개 색상의 그라데이션 효과를 준 것이고, 마름모꼴 모형 안의 사진은 내가 작년에 방문했던 야구장의 대표 사진들이다.
3월 배경은 원목 테이블 위의 한 켠에 쌓인 컬러풀한 책과 인화한 사진들이 늘어서있는 모습을 연출했고, 애드리안 벨트레, 추신수, 내야수들, 다르빗슈, 노마 마자라, 콜 해멀스 등 텍사스 레인저스 선수들의 사진을 넣었다.
4월의 경우는 무지개 색상의 그라데이션 효과를 준 원형 물방울 컨셉의 배경에다 내가 가장 좋아하는 선수인 노마 마자라의 사진을 넣었다. 마침 4월 26일이 녀석의 생일이기에 일부러 더 이렇게 배치한 것이다.
5월은 오렌지색 계열로 골든 게이트 브릿지를 표현한 배경에 이 다리로 유명한 도시의 야구팀 샌프란시스코 자이언츠 소속 선수들(마크 멜란슨, 브랜든 크로포드, 브랜든 벨트, 버스터 포지)의 사진을 넣었고, 6월은 우측 하단에 리터칭 효과를 준 텍사스 레인저스의 홈구장 글로브 라이프 파크를 넣은 배경 안에 소속 선수인 주릭슨 프로파, 다르빗슈, 불펜 투수들, 노마 마자라의 사진을 배치했다.
(Because it doesn't almost see front page and last page in fact, I roughly design every time, but it rather tidier. The letters of front page is what gives gradation effect, photos into lozenge shape are things of ball park where I had visited last year.
In the background of March, I displayed colorful books which pile up one side on solid wood table and photos stand in a row, I put photos of Texas Rangers' players of Adrian Beltre and Shin Soo Choo and infielders and Darvish Yu and Nomar Mazara and Cole Hamels and etc.
In case of April, I put photos of Nomar Mazara being my favorite player into background of water drop's concept that gives gradation effect of rainbow color. Just in time, I arranged more like this so Apr 26th is his birthday.
In May, it put San Francisco Giants' players(Mark Melancon, Brandon Crawford, Brandon Belt, Buster Posey) being MLB team of famous city due to this bridge into background expressed Golden Gate Bridge to orange color, in June, it arranged photos of Jurickson Profar and Darvish Yu and bullpens and Nomar Mazara belonging player to the team into background put Globe Life Park of home of the Texas Rangers that gives retouching effect under the right side.)
7월은 파란색이 잘 어울리는(실상 네이비 색상이지만... ㅋ) 노마 마자라를 위주의 사진을 넣었다. 사실 올해도 노마 마자라 전용 달력을 만들고 싶었는데 사진 양이 많지 않았어서 어쩔 수 없었고, 대신 최대한 많은 달에 넣으려고 노력했다.
8월은 또 내가 좋아하는 놀란 아레나도의 사진을 넣었는데 놀란 사진도 많이 없어서 아쉬웠다고나 할까... 하긴 콜로라도 경기를 2경기 밖에 못 봤으니 어쩔 수 없기는 했다.
9월은 다시 내 퍼스트 응원팀인 우리 텍사스 레인저스 선수들(마틴 페레즈, 조이 갈로, 호세 르클럭, 엘비스 앤드루스, 노마 마자라)를 넣었고, 10월은 작년 시즌이 종료된 달로써 우리 노마가 시즌 마지막 경기에서 101타점을 기록해준 바람에 나름 멋지게 건졌던 타석, 세레모니 사진들을 넣을 수 있었다. 100타점 못 넘길지 알았는데 다행인 순간이었다.
(I put mainly photos of Nomar Mazara who matches blue well(but actually navy color... ^^) in July. In fact, I wanted to make a calendar for only Nomar Mazara this year, too, but it wasn't no way due to not many photos, instead of, I tried to put ones into many months in the maximum.
In August, I put photos of Nolan Arenado that I also like, I felt lacking cause it hadn't have many photos of him... It couldn't be helped so I watched only 2 games of Colorado Rockies.
In September, I put ones of Texas Rangers' players(Martin Perez, Joey Gallo, Jose Leclarc, Elvis Andrus, Nomar Mazara) being my first supporting team again, as October was the last month to complete season, I could put great photos of the batter's box and ceremony cause Nomar recorded 101 RBIs in the final game of the season. I thought he didn't record 100 RBIs, but that was fortunate moment.)
11월에는 콜로라도 로키스의 와일드카드 결정전 게임과 그 속에서 활약한 놀란 아레나도 위주로 사진을 넣었고, 12월은 딜라이노 드쉴즈, 루그네드 오도어, 알렉스 클라우디오의 사진을 넣었으며 2019년 1월은 요한더 멘데즈, 애드리안 벨트레, 맷 부시, 조이 갈로의 사진, 2019년 2월은 우리 노마의 10월 시즌 마지막 2게임에서의 모습, 2019년 3월은 콜 해멀스, 추신수, 조이 갈로, 엘비스 앤드루스, 노마 마자라의 사진을 넣었다.

작년까지 방문했던 야구장과 그 도시들의 나름 잘 나온 사진들을 추가 페이지에 넣었고, 지도도 당연히 업데이트해서 인쇄한 것이다. 어쨌든 나의 MLB 야구장 투어는 계속될 것이라 방문하는 곳도 더욱 더 늘어날텐데 페이지를 어떻게 배치해야할지를 앞으로 잘 생각해야 할 것 같다. 생략할 부분은 생략하는 것도 고려해봐야 할테고......
(I put good photos of ball parks and the cities where I had visited until last year into adding pages, it is surely thing to print updating map. Anyway my MLB ball park tour will go on, so the cities where I visit will increase more and more, I think well in the future how do pages arrange. It considers what any part omits if it is necessary......)
올해는 자금사정상 내가 쓸 것과 당사자에게 선물로 보낼 것만 딱 주문했다. 원래 미국에 있는 우리팬들 중에 원하는 분이 있다면 한두개는 나눔 이벤트를 걸까 생각했는데 상황이 이래서 아쉽기는 하다. 하여튼 올해도 나름 괜찮게 나온만큼 알차게 잘 사용해야겠다!!!
(I ordered only things that I use and send to him for present by my budget this year. Naturally I had thought to give a calendar and two ones for present if there is someone who want to get ones of my team's fans in USA, but I'm a little sad due to situation like this. Anyway I'll meaningfully use it well as it boosts good quality this year, too!!!)
