『한 여자가 에메랄드 빛의 해안을 보며 끝도 없이 펼쳐진 백사장을 조용히 걷고 있었다. 한 손에는 카메라를 들고, 다른 한 손으로 새하얀 솜뭉치처럼 보이는 몰티즈의 어깨끈을 쥐며 느릿느릿 그 사이를 가로지르고 있다. 때마침 붉은 석양이 드리우며 그녀의 발걸음을 멈추게 만들었고, 몰티즈와 함께 잠시 백사장에 주저앉아 수평선을 지그시 바라보며 카메라 셔터를 누르기 시작한다. 그 순간, 누군가가 다가와 그 둘을 넓고 든든한 어깨로 감싸주었고, 그렇게 그들은 따스한 속삭임을 주고 받으며 다시 백사장 한쪽 끝을 향해 걸어가기 시작했다.』
삶의 여유 그리고 자유를 꿈꾸다보면 항상 이런 모습들을 그리곤 한다. 바다, 해변, 강아지, 로맨틱한 풍경, 카메라 등등...... 아마도 인생의 축소판이라고 볼 수 있는 여행이란 단어가 나에게 그러한 여유로움과 자유를 안겨주는 주된 요소이지 않을까하는 생각이 든다. 지금으로선 미르를 다시 만날 수 없는 상황이지만 천국에서 나중에 미르와 재회하고, 사랑하는 사람과도 합류하게 되면 저런 따스한 풍경이 펼쳐질 것이라 믿어보며 이 글을 시작해본다.

Dreaming composure of life and liberty, I've always used to draw like this. Ocean, beach, dog, romantic view, camera, etc...... Maybe It seems a word 'travel' can speak microcosm of life is an element that gives composure and liberty like that to me. It's a situation can't meet Mir again for now, but if I meet with Mir later and also join with loved one in heaven, I believe I can see wonderful view like that and start to post this writing.)

상황이 상황인지라 가성비 좋은 여행을 계획하여 이번에도 가보지 못한 4군데의 야구장을 돌아보며 나름 관광지도 알차게 찾아다닐 수 있었다. 여행을 다녀온 이후 미국 동부와 중부, 서부 그리고 한국까지 짧은 기간 안에 넘나드느라 가뜩이나 약해진 체력이 더 떨어지면서 시차 적응에 애를 먹은 건지 아니면 건강이 많이 안 좋아진 것인지 확실한 이유는 알 수 없지만 병원을 수시로 들락날락할 정도로 아프기도 했다. 그래도 이 여행에 대해서 후회는 없는 것이 여행 중에는 아픈 적이 전혀 없었기 때문에 돌아오는 것 자체가 나에게 더 스트레스로 다가오지 않았을까 싶고, 이게 더 설득력 있는 요인으로 느껴진다.
항상 그래왔듯이 관광, MLB 볼파크, 야구, 정리글까지 이렇게 나눠서 기록해볼 예정이고, 30개 구장(도시까지)을 모두 돌아보고 참고 자료를 조금 더 축적한 이후 이 자료들을 가지고 나만의 책을 한번 만들어보고 싶다는 생각이 든다. 판매 목적이 아닌 내 스스로 만들어나간 역사 그 흔적을 남기기 위해서......
(I planned cost-effective travel so my situation isn't good, had looked around 4 ball parks where I have never gone this time and could worthily look tourist attractions as my idea. After going back from travel, I can't know sure cause whether weak strength gets lower and I couldn't adjust jet leg so I had gone all the eastern and central and western area of US within short time or my health got worse pretty much, I've been sick as frequently going in and out of hospital. But the reason that has no regret about this travel is what had never been sick in middle that time at all, I thought coming back here by itself gave any more stresses to me, I feel this is more reasonable cause.
As I did so, I'm going to write dividing to the part of sightseeing and MLB ball parks and baseball and ending story, I've thought I would like to make only my book for using these materials after I all go to 30 ball parks(including cities) and accumulate more reference materials. For leaving trace of the history that I have been creating by myself not purpose of sale......)

클리블랜드는 미국 오하이오 주의 북동쪽, 이리호의 남쪽에 자리하고 있다. 과거 운하와 철도의 개통으로 제조업의 중심지였으나, 제조업의 쇠퇴로 다른 펜실베니아와 오하이오 주 도시처럼 러스트 벨트 지역으로 여겨지는 곳이기도 하다. 최근에는 피츠버그와 마찬가지로 금융, 보험, 법률, 의료 분야 서비스 등 다양한 산업 구조로 변화하고 있고, 클리블랜드 진료소는 심장과 신장 치료에 전문적인 기술을 가지고 있다고 한다.
유럽인들이 정착하기 이전에는 치페와, 이리, 이로쿼이 인디언들이 거주했었고, 1796년 코네티컷 대지 회사로 인해 뉴잉글랜드의 정착자들이 이주해왔다. 현재는 아프리카계 미국인들이 인구의 절반이고, 동유럽계, 이탈리아, 영국계 주민들 또한 많이 살고 있으며 부다페스트에 이어 헝가리인들이 가장 많이 사는 곳이 이 곳이라고 한다.

Chippewa and Erie and Iroquois had resided before European settles, settlers of New England had came by Connecticut Land Company in 1796. African Americans constitute a half of the population these days, east European and Italian and England Americans are also living a lot, it is the place that Hungarians live the most.)

로큰롤 명예의 전당은 클리블랜드 다운타운 근처 이리호 연안에 위치한 로큰롤 음악의 기념관으로 다양한 전시물과 사진, 비디오, 유품 등을 소장하고 있고, 또한 명예의 전당 상설 전시관의 역할을 하고 있다. 상설 전시 외에도 건물 1, 2층에서 대규모 전시와 임시 전시회를 연중 개최하며 음악회·강연회·토론회·수련회 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영한다.
재단은 음악계에 종사하는 인사들로 구성되어 있으며, 공공 투자금과 기업체의 후원금, 개인 기부금, 회비, 박물관 입장료 및 매점 판매 수익 등으로 운영된다. 명예의 전당 선정 대상은 공연자, 비공연자, 로큰롤에 영향을 미친 자, 배후 활동자, 평생 공로자로 나뉘는데 공연자는 첫 레코드 발매 후 25년이 지나야 하고, 로큰롤의 발전에 얼마나 기여했는지가 주요 심사 기준이 된다. 로큰롤 역사를 연구하는 학자들로 구성된 재단의 지명위원회가 매년 공연자 부분의 후보를 지명하면 전 세계 약 1,000여명의 락 전문가가 투표해서 나온 결과를 통해 가장 많은 표를 획득한 공연자나 과반수 이상을 득표한 공연자가 약 5~7명이 매해 선정된다.
선정이 되면 축하 공연을 비롯하여 박물관 명예의 전당 전시실에 공연자 부문 선정자의 모든 노래를 들을 수 있는 기기가 설치되고, 3개의 대형 스크린을 통해 활동 모습과 음악을 소개하는 영화를 볼 수 있으며 선정자의 서명이 새겨진 유리잔과 각종 기념품이 전시되는 명예를 누리게 된다.

foundation is composed people who work in the musical world, managed public investment and contribution of incorporation and personal donation and subscription and admission of museum and the margin of cafeteria and etc. Hall of fame's selection object is divided Performers and Non-performers and Early Influences and Side Men and Lifetime Achievement, it is main evaluation standard that passes over 25 years after release of the first record and how much contributed about progress of Rock&Roll in case of performer. If nomination committee consist of scholars to research about Rock&Roll's history designates candidate of performer's part every year, performer who gets the most ballots or over majority is selected about 5 to 7 people by the result that Rock experts of about 1,000 people in the world vote.
If it's selected a hall of famer, equipment which can listen every songs of selector of the performer part in exhibition room of hall of fame is installed including celebration concert, it can watch movie which explains selector's active and music on 3 large screens, it can enjoy the honors that exhibits glass cup is carved sign of selector and a lot of souvenirs.)
[지하 전시관 (basement exhibition room)]
로큰롤 음악 거의 대부분을 볼 수 있는 곳이 바로 이 지하 전시관이다. 명예의 전당에 선정된 공연자들이 입었던 옷이나 사용한 악기, 곡이 쓰여져있는 악보, 사진 등 많은 자료를 볼 수 있고, 지역별 음악과 역사, 장르 그리고 우리 귀에도 익숙한 엘비스 프레슬리, 비틀즈, U2, 마이클 잭슨, 지미 핸드릭스, 에릭 클립튼 등 많은 가수들의 기념품들도 많이 전시되어 있다.
사실 여기서 가장 오랜 시간을 보냈던 것 같다. 음악도 몇 개 들어보고, 상영관에 들어가 예전에 방영했던 음악 프로그램도 재미있게 봤으며, 몇몇 가수들이 쓴 악보도 인상깊었다. 나도 가끔 취미로 달력이나 이런저런 간단한 포트폴리오를 만들면서 정말 엄청난 창작의 고통을 느끼곤 하는데 바로 그 고뇌가 느껴졌다고나 할까......
(The space where can see almost thing of Rock&Roll music is just this exhibition room in basement. It can see various data clothes wearing or musical instruments using performers who was selected into Hall of fame and score writing song and photos and etc, it is exhibited souvenirs of many singers like Elvis Presley and Beatles and US and Michael Jackson and Jimmy Hendricks and Eric Clapton and etc who sound similarly to our ear.
Actually I spent the longest time here. I had listened a few songs, I entered into theater and pleasantly watched music program broadcasted in the past, I was impressive even scores which some singer song-writers composed. Sometimes I've designed a calendar or simple portfolio, used to feel pain of creation pretty much, can I say to feel just the pain......?)
[2층 전시관 (Exhibition of the 2nd floor)]
이 곳은 음악 자체보다는 그와 관련된 물건들이 전시되어 있다고 보면 될 것 같다. 명예의 전당 건물 설계에 대한 것과 전축이나 LP, CDP, 아이팟 등 음악을 들을 수 있는 기구들의 기술 그리고 가수들이 사용한 여러가지 기타들을 볼 수 있다. 이 곳은 짧은 시간 안에 가볍게 돌아볼 수 있는 것이 장점이다.
(It seemed stuffs related music than one by itself is exhibited here. It can see the thing about architects of Hall of fame and technology of equipment which can listen music of record player or LP or CDP or iPod or etc and a kind of guitar which singers can use. the point that can lightly look around within a short time is the positive thing here.)

이 곳은 최근에 헌액된 공연자들의 자료들이 약간 있는 것 같았고, 현재까지 명예의 전당에 헌액된 레전드들의 서명이 연도별로 깔끔하게 전시되어 있는 공간이 있다. 사실 저 체험관에서 무엇을 할 수 있는지 자세히는 모르겠으나, 아마도 공연을 생생하게 느낄 수 있는 상영관이 아닐까 하는 생각이 들었다. 3층 역시 짧은 시간 안에 모든 곳을 돌아볼 수 있다.
(I thought there were some data of performers who were selected recently, there's a space where autograph of Hall of famers neatly is displayed on a year-on-year until now. I don't know well what can it do in that experience theater, but maybe it looked like it is a theater where Rock&Roll concert can clearly feel. It can look all around within a short time in the 3rd floor.)

기프트샵에서 자그마한 기념품을 산 후 이 곳의 여정을 마무리지었다. 수요일은 오후 9시까지 운영해서 좀 더 여유롭게 볼 수 있었고, 영어를 조금 더 잘했더라면 더 세세하게 보고 왔을텐데 항상 여행을 가면 영어 공부에 대한 필요성을 뼈저리게 느끼게 되는 듯 싶다.
(I finished itinerary of this place after purchasing small souvenirs in gift shop. I could see this place more comfortably so it has been opened 9:00pm on Wednesday, I would watch in detail if my English skill was better, I think I feel strongly needs about studying English whenever I tour anywhere.)

원래 바로 옆의 과학 박물관도 가보고 싶었는데 야구 경기가 끝난 후 이동했었기에 이 곳은 이미 영업 시간이 끝나있었다. 그 대신 이 주위를 한바퀴 돌아보기로 했는데 날씨가 약간 쌀쌀했어도 강변 쪽으로 벚꽃이 활짝 피어 있었고, 이 모습이 너무나 이뻐서 잠시 이 곳에 머물러 있기도 했다. 이상하게 가을보다는 봄이 나에게 더 기분좋게 다가오는 듯 하다.
(In fact, I wanted to enter into Great Lakes Science Center in the next Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, it had already been ended opening hours cause I moved to the place after finishing of baseball game. Instead of that, I decided to take a turn near this place, cherry blossoms has been in full bloom on way to riverside even though it was chilly a little, I had been stayed for a while so this view was so beautiful. Spring than autumn mysteriously makes me happier.)

나이아가라 강으로 흘러 들어가는 이리 호가 바로 이 클리블랜드에서 시작된다. 그래서인지 지도 상으로도 그렇지만 실제로 클리블랜드에서 토론토 거리가 그닥 멀지 않은 느낌이 더 든다. 이리호 주위에 로큰롤 명예의 전당 뿐만이 아니라 과학 박물관, 해양 박물관, 퍼스트 에너지 스타디움이 위치해있고, 강변에 보이노비치 바이센테니얼 공원도 위치해있다.
사실 이 곳 말고도 유니버시티 라인 쪽의 관광지도 갔었어야 했는데 내가 너무 게으름을 피운 것도 있었고, 정말 나이가 들었는지 체력이 예전같지 않아 우울해진다. 하아;;; 😢😢😢
어쨌든 별 것 아닌 것 같아도 확실히 물이 주는 느낌이 남다르긴 하나보다. 강변에 위치해 있는 모든 건물들과 공원, 조각들이 조화를 이뤄 뭔가 더 운치있는 느낌을 주고 있었고, 특히 석양이 지는 이 시간의 풍경은 하루 또는 일정 기간의 마지막 순간에 이르러 긴장이 풀리는 것처럼 나의 마음을 차분히 가라앉혀 주었으며 이에 더해 클리블랜드 여행의 마지막을 하루의 마무리를 의미하는 석양과 함께 하게 되었던 것 같다.
(Lake Erie which flows into Niagara River is started from Cleveland. So I actually feel not so far from Cleveland to Toronto like seen on map. Great Lakes Science Center and Steamship William G. Mather Museum and FirstEnergy Stadium locate close Lake Erie with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, there's Voinovich Bicentennial Park at riverside.
In fact, I had to go tourist attractions to way of University Line including this places, I was laziness so much, my physical strength feels differently with a few years ago whether I'm older, so I'm getting more depressed. 😢😢😢
Though it isn't able to be special thing, I think water has special feeling. Every buildings and park and scripts where locate at riverside are combined, so they were giving more tasteful feeling, especially the view of this time when sunset exists made my mind calm down such as it gets relaxing to the final moment of one day or fixed period, I though the ending of Cleveland trip spent with sunset which means the ending of one day in addition.)
