[정치(Politics)] 사회적 약자에 대한 생각들 (Thinkings about positive discrimination)

어느 국가든 사회적인 약자는 존재하고 그들을 위한 지원이나 정책은 필요하다. 선거 기간이 되면 대선 주자마다 복지라는 측면을 통해 이런 부분을 강조하는데( 달성 여부는 차지하고라도) 장애인, 빈곤층, 여성 등 상대적으로 차별받고 있는 모든 계층은 아마 약간은 이 부분에 대해 희망을 가질 것이다. 하지만 그 중에서 여전히 천대받고 있는 사회적 약자가 존재한다. 바로 게이, 레즈비언이라고 일컫는 성소수자들......

{Positive discrimination exists every nations, it needs support or policy for them. All presidential candidates emphasize this part by welfare in the election time(achievement or failure calculates later), maybe every classes of disabled person and the poor strata and woman and etc who are discriminate relatively will have about this part a little. But there's positive discrimination who is still treated contemptuously. That's just sexual minority of gay or lesbian......)

내가 직접 본 것은 아니고 여러 커뮤니티에서 접한 이야기지만 최근 대선 주자 토론에서 이에 대한 부분에 대해 이슈가 있었다. 자칭 보수라 말하는 수구 대표 후보가 현재 중도 진보 및 보수라 칭할 수 있는 유력 당선 후보를 향해서 옴싹달싹하지 못할 화두를 던진 것..... 물론 수구 대표 후보는 본인의 생각도 그렇겠지만 그 지지층을 대변하는 아주 부정적인 생각을 가지고 있는 사람이라 본인과의 반대 답변을 예상하며 이 떡밥으로 계속 네거티브를 진행할 생각이었을 것이다. (눈에 뻔히 보이는데 아니라고 거짓말은 안할 것이고, 실제 어제 유세에서도 보다 더 강경하게 표현했다고 한다.)

하지만 유력 당선 후보는 어중간한 스탠스를 취했다. 개인적으로 동성애는 반대하지만 차별은 금지해야 한다는 것과 합법화(아마 동성 결혼과 입양에 대한 부분일 것)에도 반대한다는 답변을 했다.

{I didn't directly watch and heard through some communities, it had an issue about this part in the presidential candidate discussion these days. Reactionary representative candidate called conservative itself brought up a conversation topic that is stuck to influential election candidate called moderate-liberal and moderate-conservative...... Of course, reactionary candidate would expect opposite answer with his own opinion and think to process negative campaign for using this issue cause he's person who has so negative thinking. (My eyes are surely seen his intention, I believe he can't lie, I heard he expressed stronger at his campaign yesterday.)

However influential election candidate showed ambiguous stance. He said he personality opposes about homosexuality, should prohibit discrimination about them and opposes legalization(maybe it would be a homosexual marriage and adoption.)}

당연히 성소수자와 그 관련 조직에서는 반대 성명을 냈고, 약간 시끄러워지긴 했다. 나도 그들의 입장을 존중하고 이해하며 그렇게 할 수 밖에 없다는 것 또한 충분히 공감한다. 동성애자도 대상만 다른 이성애자와 약간 다를 뿐이지, 본성의 부분이기 때문에 당연히 나와 다르다고 해서 모욕하거나 차별해서는 안된다. 저 꼴통 수구 대표 후보가 매우 원망스럽기는 하나, 그렇다고 한들 내가 지지하는 후보가 발언한 부분은 그들에게 상처를 주었을 수 있다는 점에서 비판받아도 어쩔 수 없다고 생각한다.

(Sexual minority and organization about this surely declared themselves against that, the mood wasn't good. I respect and understand their situation, fully grok that they should be so. Homosexuality's a little different only the object comparing with another heterosexual, it mustn't insult and discriminate even though they is different with me due to human nature. I'm so resentful about the idiot reactionary representative candidate, but I think it can't be to get criticism about a point which the part of remark candidate supporting me gave wound to them.)      

다만, 아직 한국 사회는 성소수자에 대한 인식이 매우 좋지 않다. 그나마 요즘 젊은층들이 사회 곳곳에서 목소리를 내기 시작하며 세상이 급박하게 변하고 있기는 하나, 동성애 부분이 다른 선진국에서도 꽤 오랜 시간이 지나서야 인식이 나아졌다는 점을 생각하면 이 나라도 아마 조금 더 시간이 지나야 하지 않을까 싶다.

솔직히 나의 스탠스도 저 중도 진보 및 보수 후보와 비슷하다. 저 발언이 다소 선거공학적으로 보이긴 하나, 그와 마찬가지로 나도 천주교 신자이기 때문이다. 내 종교에서 배운 교리와 현재 벌어지고 있는 일들 간의 괴리가 있는 부분이라 처음엔 나도 다소 혼란스러웠는데 그들의 입장에서 이해해보려 노력하기도 했고, 최근 프란치스코 교황님이 간단하게 정리해주셔서 나도 그렇게 믿고 따르려 한다.

내 가족 중에 누군가 나에게 커밍 아웃을 한다면? 처음엔 놀라겠지만 결국 난 그 가족을 인정해주고 응원해줬을 것 같다. 인력으로 되는 부분이라면 더 반대할 수도 있겠으나, 이게 무슨 인력으로 될 일도 아니고, 남에게 피해를 주는 것도 아닌데 어차피 짧은 인생 행복하게 살다가는 게 정답이라 생각하기 때문이다.

(But it isn't so good realization about Sexual minority in Korea society. Young generation tried to speak big voice somewhere of society a little these days and this world is changing quickly, to see realization of homosexuality has been better even another advanced country after past so long time, it seems to pass much time.

Honestly my stance is similar to influential election candidate. That seems the electoral remark, cause I'm catholic as him. It exists gap with doctrine to learn from my religion and cases to happen socially, so I was a little confused at the first, but I tried to realize their situation, I try to believe and follow so cause Pope Francisco gave answer simply not long ago.

What if someone of my family comes out to me? I'll be surprised at the first, finally I'll recognize and support my family. If it can change by effort, I can oppose more, but this looks like it is impossible, isn't case that doesn't give harm to people, I think correct answer that is happily living and pass away for a short life time.)

그러나 여기서 한 술 더 떠서 성소수자에 대한 단체 하나가 사고를 쳤다. 유력 대선 후보의 중요한 연설 중간에 난입하여 과격한 시위를 한 탓에 자칫 사고로 이어질 수 있었던 일이 발생했다. 물론 별 사고없이 끝나기는 하였으나, 이 후보나 후보 지지자들에게는(나를 포함) 큰 트라우마가 하나 남아있다.

대선 이전에 이 분이 대구 서문시장 화재 당시에 그 곳을 방문하여 상인들을 위로해주려고 한 일이 있었는데 이 때 마침 탄핵 정국이었고, 그 탄핵에 불만을 품은 한 단체에게 테러를 당할 뻔한 일이 있었기 때문이다. 다행히 이 때도 큰 사고가 없기는 하였으나, 한번 이런 일을 겪어본 입장에서는 당연히 감정적으로 화가날 수 있는 일 아니었나 싶다. 물론 이 후보는 그들에 대한 처벌을 원치 않아 풀어줬지만 지지자 입장에서는 정말 화가 났었다.

물론 그들의 입장도 이해한다. 그렇게 목이 터져라 외쳐가며 시위했지만 들어주는 사람이 별로 없었을 것이고, 특히나 최근 9년 동안의 정권이 불통이었으니 더 힘들었을 것이다. 그래서 그나마 들어줄만한 사람에게 좀 과격하게 시위를 한 감이 있는 듯 한데 이런 방식은 정말 평소에 온건하게 인식을 바꾸기 위해 노력해온 성소수자들에게 치명타를 입히는 일이다. 나 같은 사람이 한국 사회에 많으면 괜찮겠지만 불행하게도 아직 그렇지 못하기 때문에 이런 일 하나가 여론을 부정적으로 만들 수 있다.

(But one organization of sexual minority caused trouble in addition. It happen a matter almost connected to accident due to that they broke into important campaign and had violent protest. Of course, the event ended no accident well, anyway there was an trauma to the candidate or supporters.

He visited there and consoled for traders when fire of Daegu Seomoon market before the presidential election, he had almost terror from one group who has complaints about impeachment due to the time of political situation about impeachment. Fortunately it didn't happen anything, I think the position that had experienced case like this can get mad. Of course, he didn't want penalty about them, release them, but I was really so mad as supporter.  

Of course, I understand their situation. They shout out at the top of their's voice and protested, maybe there weren't a lot of people who care of the voice, especially the government during the past 9 years recently was difficulty of communication, they would struggle hardly. So I thought they had a little violent protest to person who can reason, anyway this method can strike fatal blow to sexual minorities who have moderately been trying to change realization ordinary day. It's right if there are a lot of people alike me in this society, but one of case like this can make negative public opinion because it isn't so.) 

약간 화가 난 순간이 있긴 하였지만 이 일로 인해 내 생각이 바뀐 건 아니고 아마 많은 의식있는 젊은 친구들도 그렇지 않을 것이라 확신하지만 그래도 이런 단체들도 조금 더 평화적으로 의사를 전달할 수 있는 아이디어를 찾았으면 좋겠고, 세상이 좀 바뀔 수 있도록 나도 미력이나마 도움을 줄 생각이 있으니 힘들겠지만 조금만 더 참고 인내해줬으면 좋겠다.

(It had a mad moment, I don't change due to this matter, I'm sure many younger people to get good awareness isn't so, nevertheless I'd like they find out good idea which can deliver opinion more peaceful, I have a thinking to help even a little for changing the world, so I wish they control more and have an patient even though the time passes a little time.)
