항상 글을 쓸 때면 첫 단어를 어떻게 시작해야 할지 많은 고민을 하게 되고, 그렇게 첫 줄 그리고 첫 문단만 완성하는데도 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸리는데 이번에도 여지없이 그런 긴 시간을 보내고 나서야 이렇게 첫 마침표를 찍어본다. 2016년의 끝자락에 다다른 지금에서야 지난 9월 중순부터 10월 중순까지 다녀온 27일간의 미국 여행에 대한 소소한 글을 시작하는 것이 다소 게을러 보이기는 하지만 말이다. 객관적으로는 매우 소소한 글이 되겠지만 내 개인적으로는 아주 큰 과업일지도 모르겠고......
어쨌든 작년부터 시작한 나의 버킷리스트 중 가장 달성하기 힘든 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 올해도 빠른 시점부터 많은 준비를 했고, 예상보다 긴 시간동안 MLB 야구장을 비롯한 각 도시의 명소도 함께 둘러볼 수 있었다. 아마 최소 몇 년간 다시 올 수 없는 소중한 기간이었을지도 모르겠다. 이 나라에서 일을 하려면 주말을 낀 7일 여행가는 것도 버겁기 때문에 그 추억 하나하나를 기록으로 남겨보고 싶다.
(When I always write, I agonizes a lot about how does first word start, it takes so long time what it completes only first line and first paragraph, I put the first dot after long time like that. It seems to be lazy a little what I start trivial writing about journey for 27 days being from the middle of September to the middle of October in the present time to reach the end of 2016. Maybe this becomes trivial writings objectively, but is great task in personality......
Anyway I prepared a lot from the early time this year for achieving this most difficult dream in my bucket list starting from last year, I can look around famous places of each other cities with MLB ball parks for long period than I expect. Maybe that was valuable period which can't experience the several years at least. I'd like to remain the memories one by one because If I try to work, it's so difficult tour of 7 days including weekend.)

여행 기간에 비해 다녀온 곳이 많지는 않지만 빡빡하게 일정 소화하는 것 자체를 별로 좋아하지도 않고, 주된 목표는 MLB 야구장 투어이기 때문에 그 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간을 활용할 수 있는 장소 위주로 다녀왔다. 여기서 몇몇 곳은 재방문할지도 모르니 그 때 못 돌아본 곳을 가면 될 것 같다.
올해 야구장 6곳을 돌아보면서 작년부터 지금까지 총 10곳을 돌았는데 앞으로 20곳이 더 남았고 거기에 더해 최소 3곳의 신구장이 건설될 예정이라 언제 이 꿈을 모두 이룰지는 모르겠다. 진짜 죽기 전까지 다 갈 수 있을까......
(I couldn't go many tourist attractions to compare journey period, but cause I don't like to digest intensive schedule and main bucket list is MLB ball park tour, I went mainly places where can use extra time except that time. It doesn't know I revisit several places in that ones, so I think I go omission at that time.
I went 6 ball parks this year and total 10 ball parks from last year to now, it remains 20 ones in the future, besides it will be constructed 3 new ones at least, I have no idea when this dream all comes true. Can I really go every MLB ball parks until I pass away in my life......)
이번에도 각각의 도시마다 관광 명소, MLB 야구장, MLB 게임 이렇게 세 가지의 주제로 글을 쓸 것이지만 알링턴 정규시즌의 경우 특별히 돌아본 관광지가 없어서 관광 명소 글은 생략하고, PNC 파크는 작년에도 다녀온 곳이라 야구장 투어 글을 생략할 것이며, 뉴욕 양키 스타디움 경기는 내 응원팀의 경기가 아니었어서 관광 명소에 넣을 것이고, 포트워스와 댈러스의 경우는 순수하게 관광만 했기에 관광 명소 글만 쓰게 될 것 같다. 마지막 알링턴 포스트시즌도 경기 관람만 했기 때문에 정리 글까지 하면 총 22개의 글을 써야 할 듯 싶다. 아, 언제 다 쓰지......
(I'll write 3 subjects of tourist attraction and MLB ball park and game at each cities at this time, however there isn't specially tourist attraction in case of regular season in Arlington, so I omit about tourist attraction's writing, also I'll omit ball park tour's writing cause I went to PNC park last year, again, it'll insert a game about yanks' game in New York to tourist attraction writing due to not my supporting time's game, I think I will write only tourist attraction's writing so it purely looked around in Fort Worth and Dallas. I think I will write total 22 writing to include complete post cause I watched only games about the final ALDS in Arlington. Um, when can I write all......)
16) [2016 MLB TOUR] 미국 경제와 문화의 중심지, 뉴욕(1) (The center of US economy and culture, New York)

드디어 MLB 볼파크 투어를 시작한지 2년만에 뉴욕에 다다랐다. 상업, 금융, 미디어, 예술, 패션, 교육, 엔터테인먼트 등 많은 분야에 걸쳐 큰 영향을 끼치고 있어서 우리나라를 비롯하여 세계 여러 나라에서 가장 많이 다루는 도시가 이 뉴욕이다. 난 복잡한 곳을 너무너무 싫어해서 뉴욕도 별로 좋아하진 않지만 최소한 많은 사람들이 왜 뉴욕을 좋아하는지 알 것 같았다. 개인적으로 미드를 많이 보는데 내가 본 미드의 배경 도시는 뉴욕이 가장 많다.
뉴욕은 맨하탄, 브루클린, 퀸스, 브롱크스, 스탠튼 아일랜드까지 다섯 개의 자치구로 나뉘어져 있고, 뉴욕 대도시권 인구는 1,890만명이며 연간 5천만명의 관광객이 방문한다. 자유의 여신상, 센트럴 파크, 타임 스퀘어, 브로드웨이, 월스트리트, 엠파이어 스테이트 빌딩, UN, 5번가, 브루클린 다리 등 매우 많은 관광 명소들과 상업 시설들이 있어 더 많은 사랑을 받는 것 같다.
(Finally I reached New York in two years after staring MLB ball park tour. The city that a lot of counties with our country deal the most in the world is New York cause it has an big effect on a lot of realm of commerce and finance and media and art and fishing and education and entertainment and etc. I hate busy place so much, so I don't like New York, but I thought I knew why many people like New York at least. Personally I watch drama of America a lot, the most background city of watching drama is New York.
New York was divided 5 autonomous district of Manhattan and Brooklyn and Queens and Bronx and Staten Island, conurbation population of New York is 18.9M, tourist of 50M each year visit here. There are so many tourist attractions and commercial facilities of Statue of Liberty and Central Park and Times Square and Broadway and Wall Street and Empire State Building and UN and fifth Avenue and Brooklyn Bridge and etc, so I thought this city was loved more.)

워싱턴 DC에 이어 뉴욕도 호텔 비용 감당이 되지 않아서 호스텔에서 묵게 되었다. 말만 호스텔이지 2.5성급 호텔 가격이라고 봐야 하는데 그래도 내부 시설은 괜찮은 편이었다. 호스텔의 특징답게 젊은 층이 많아서 바의 분위기도 활기차고, 영화를 볼 수 있는 공간도 있으며 공부나 여러 작업을 할 수 있는 공간 그리고 주방도 따로 있어 간단하게 요리해서 식사를 해결할 수 있다. 호스텔 옥상도 굉장히 좋은데 여러 의자와 테이블이 설치되어 있으며 퀸즈보로 다리와 맨하탄 야경을 볼 수 있다.
(I stayed hostel cause hotel expense is expensive in New York like it was so Washington DC.The name's hostel, it thinks price of 2.5-star hotel, but internal facilities was good. There were many young people as hostel's feature, so bar's feeling is active and it has a space to watch movie and to study or some works and kitchen, it can solve meal. Hostel's rooftop is so good, there were some chairs and tables, it can see Queensboro Bridge and Manhattan's night view.)
[타임 스퀘어(Times Square)]
뉴욕에 소매치기나 사기꾼들이 많아서 카메라는 가방에 넣고 아이폰으로만 찍었더니 화질이 좀 아쉽다. 카메라 기능만 특화된 DSLR이 폰 카메라보다 대부분의 기능이 우월하니 퍼포먼스도 차이가 있는 것이 당연한 것이긴 한데 너무 눈만 높아진 것 같다... ㅋ
어쨌든 TV나 드라마에서 가장 자주 봤던 장면이 바로 저 타임스퀘어의 고층 건물들과 휘황찬란한 스크린들의 모습이다. 밤에 봤으면 더 아름다웠을텐데 웬지 혼자서 밤의 뉴욕 거리를 거닌다는 게 좀 위험할 것 같다는 생각이 들었다. 그런데 알고 보니 2010년대 들어 뉴욕 범죄 발생률이 엄청 낮아졌단다. 아마도 시티필드를 아직 못 가봐서 다시 한번 뉴욕을 또 가야할 것 같으니 그 때는 밤의 뉴욕 거리를 만끽해봐야겠다.
{I put camera into my backpack and took a picture only iPhone and felt lacking about image quality cause there're many pickpockets and swindlers in New York. DSLR specialized only camera's function is excellent almost function than mobile's camera and it's sure to have performance's difference, I think it's getting too choosy... :)
Anyway the scene that often watched on TV or drama is image of just Times Square's high-rise buildings and glamorous screens. If I see that in night, it would be more beautiful, somehow I thought a little dangerous I walk around New York's street of night alone. But I see something data, a crime rate of New York was getting down a lot in New York. Maybe I think I should go to New York, again, so I haven't still been to City Field, I'll enjoy New York's street of night then.)

뉴욕 5번가는 명품 거리로 유명한 곳이다. 사실 여기를 일부러 찾아가려 한 것은 아니고, 타임 스퀘어에 있을 때 애플 스토어와 센트럴 파크를 가려고 구글맵을 보다가 록펠러 센터와 성 패트릭 대성당 사이길부터 이 곳으로 지나야 해서 자연스럽게 들렀던 거리였다. 솔직히 트럼프 월드란 건물이 서울 여의도에도 있어서 트럼프 대통령 당선인과 연관되어있다는 걸 몰랐는데 다녀온 후 사진 정리하면서 자료 찾아보다가 이 사실을 알았다. 도널드 트럼프의 건물인지 알았다면 안 찍어왔을텐데...... -_-;;
명품을 좋아하는 사람들도 개인 취향이니 존중하지만 난 개인적으로 명품에 관심도 없고, 차라리 명품 살 돈 있으면 그 돈으로 여행을 더 가지는 주의라 뭐 그닥 감명받지는 않았다.
(The fifth avenue of New York is the famous place for luxury good's street. In fact, I didn't try to go here on purpose, I see a google map for going to Apple store and Central Park when I'm at Time Square, it was naturally street to drop so I go through street between Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral to the fifth avenue. Honestly I didn't know it connected with President-elect Trump so Trump World building is Yeouido in Seoul, I knew this fact to settle pictures and to look for a data after coming back. If I knew that was Trump's building before, I wouldn't take that picture....... -_-;;
And I respect people that like luxury goods so it is their personal preference, but I'm personally not interested in luxury goods, if I have some money which can buy ones, I have a thinking that will go travel overseas by that money, so I wasn't impressive.)

[iPhone 7 동영상 화질]
전부터 일본과 미국 여행을 자주 했었지만 애플 스토어는 한번도 가본 적이 없었고, 이어팟을 사야 해서 드디어 뉴욕 5번가와 센트럴 파크 입구에 있는 애플 스토어를 다녀왔다. 스티브 잡스가 생전에 애플 스토어 건물 디자인에 많은 신경을 기울였다는 이야기를 책에서 봤는데 정말 그 명성대로 박스 모양의 투명한 입구와 나선형의 투명 계단이 매우 인상적이었고 깔끔했으며 내부 인테리어도 깔끔하고 세련된 느낌이었다.
누구보다 디자인에 관심이 많고 까다롭다 자부하는 내 눈에도 애플 스토어의 디자인은 두 말 할 필요없이 훌륭했고, 마치 긍정적인 의미의 판도라의 상자를 연 것처럼 세련되고 단아한 겉모습 속에 숨겨져 있는 화려하면서도 깔끔한 내부 인테리어가 굉장히 인상적이었다.
이 당시 미국을 비롯한 1차 출시국에만 아이폰 7이 나온 상황이라 미리 한번 만져봤는데 애플에 기대하는 그 혁신이 크게 도드라지지 않아서 그렇지 상당히 좋은 제품임에는 분명했다. 물론 난 3D터치와 라이브 포토, 고화질의 동영상, 램 속도 등등 6s를 너무 만족하며 쓰고 있어서 7을 살 생각은 없으나, 생활에 편리한 여러가지 기능을 보완해다고 하니 오래된 폰을 쓰는 사람들은 바꾸는 것도 괜찮을 것 같다.
원래 예산이 여유가 있었다면 아이패드 프로와 이어팟을 사려고 했었는데 그렇지 못해서 이어팟만 사려고 했었다. 그러나 계산하는 줄이 너무 길어서 그냥 나중에 한국에서 사자 마음먹고 나올 수 밖에 없었다. 내가 미국 은행의 신용카드나 체크카드를 가지고 있었다면 단말기 들고 다니는 직원에게 애플페이로 결제해달라고 말했을텐데 아직 우리 나라는 애플 페이가 되지 않아 너무 아쉽다. 하긴 우리 나라에서 애플 페이가 된다고 해도 우리 나라만 한정시켜 되겠지..... 그냥 미국 체크카드 하나 만들고 싶은데......
(I often travelled Japan and US several years ago, but I haven't never been to Apple Store and I should buy earPod, so I could finally go Apple Store to locate at 5th street and Central Park's entrance. I saw a story which Steve Jobs takes care of building design a lot in book, I was very impressive and tidy about transparent entrance of box shape and transparent stairs of spiral and interior also felt tidy and refined.
My eyes that are interested in design than anyone else and confident to have fastidious sense also seem that Apple Store's design was fantastic needless to say, I was very impressive splendid and tidy interior that hides in refined and graceful outwardness such open pandora box of positive meaning.
I once used iPhone 7 beforehand cause iPhone 7 launched only the first release countries with US this time, it was so, cause the innovation that expects to Apple bigly stood out, it was surely pretty good product. Of course, I didn't think I bought iPhone 7 so I'm satisfying 6s of 3D touch and Live photos and high quality video and ram speed and etc and using, but I heard it is complemented some comfortable functions in life, so I think good people to use old mobile change.
If my budget is full, I would buy iPad pro and EarPods, I would buy only EarPods so it was so. But I should decide to buy one in Korea afterward due to so many people trying to pay. If I have a credit card or check card of America's bank, I would speak paying by Apple pay to staff held NFC card terminal, I felt something lacking a lot so it can't use Apple pay in my country. Even if it can use Apple pay in Korea, it can do in limit Korea...... I just want to make a check card of America......)

센트럴 파크는 1857년 디자이너 프레드릭 르 옴스테드와 건축가 칼베르트 바우스가 디자인한 공원으로 해마다 2,500만명이 찾는 등 미국 전역에서 가장 많은 사람들이 찾는 공원이라고 한다. 북쪽으로 웨스트 110번가, 남쪽으로 웨스트 59번가, 동쪽으로 5번가와 접해 있는 공원이고, 인공 호수와 연못, 산책로, 두 개의 아이스링크, 센트럴 파크 동물원, 정원, 야생동물 보호구역, 넓은 자연림, 외부 원형 극장 등이 있다.
이 곳을 9월말에 방문해서 혹시나 가을 단풍을 볼 수 있지 않을까 생각했었는데 너무 이른 시기에 갔는지 멋진 풍경을 볼 수 없었던 점은 아쉬웠던 것 같다. 그래도 공원 자체가 너무 좋고, 2시간이나 돌아다녔음에도 불구하고 센트럴 파크 반 밖에 못 돌아본 것 같다.

The park borders with West 110th street to north way and West 59th street to south way and 5th street to east way, there are artificial lake and pond and trail and two ice links and Central Park Zoo and garden and wildlife sanctuary and etc.
I visited here in the end of September, so I thought I could see autumn foliage, but I felt lacking what couldn't see great landscape whether it went so early time. Anyway the park is so good in itself and I didn't look around even a half of the Central Park even though I walked over 2 hours.)
