여느 때와는 달리 올해 나의 과업은 생각보다 긴 시간이 걸렸고, 내 스스로도 서두르지는 않았다. 오랜 시간동안 나를 괴롭혀왔던 목 디스크의 증세가 다시 재발해서 컴퓨터를 오래 사용할 수가 없었기 때문이다. 게다가 육체적인 고통이 내 정신까지 지배하면서 이번에는 그냥 대충 만들고 말자는 생각이 더 많았는데 아마도 11년째 이 작업을 하면서 겪은 창작의 고통도 한 몫 거들었을 것이다.
어쨌든 작년에는 Covid-19 (올해도 마찬가지일거라 예상되지만) 때문에 외국을 나갈 수가 없어서 여태까지 찍은 미국 여행 사진들을 추려 만들게 되었고, 26번째 야구장까지 돌아본 지금, 뭐 이렇게 한번 정리해보는 것도 나쁘지 않은 것 같다.
(My task this year unususally took a long time than I thought, I didn't rush even myself. Because I didn't use computer a long time so symptom of cervical herniated disc which has tormented me for a long time suffered again. Moreover I had a thought that roughly makes it while physical pain dominates even my mentality, maybe torture of creation experiencing this work in the 11th year would assist as well.
Anyway I couldn't go overseas due to Covid-19 last year (I'm expected the same situation this year as well), so I designed it to classify tour images of USA taking photography until now, this time after going to 26 MLB baseball parks, I think it isn't bad recalling and arrangement of this data.)
레이아웃을 단순화시킬까 하다가도 그럴바에 차라리 각 온라인 사진 관련 사이트에 있는 레이아웃을 쓰는 게 나을 거란 생각이 들어서 역시 나만의 시그니처대로 할 수 밖에 없었다. 사진도 아예 대표적인 사진 딱 한 두개만 해서 깔끔하게 하는 게 좋을 것 같은데 그러기엔 좋은 사진이 너무 많고 말이다. 어찌보면 내 작품 사진이기도 하니까......
그리고 뭐 여느 때와는 달리 컨셉도 딱히 없다. 그저 내가 사랑하거나 좋았던 기억이 있는 장소와 야구장 순위를 매겨보고, 월마다 도시 하나씩 정해서 사진을 배치한 정도일 뿐이다.
(I thought to simplify layout at the first, it would be better using layout of online corporations, so I had to do it as only my signature. I thought It will be a good using only one or two representative photos, but there are a lot of good photos. These photos are my work on the other hand......
And there isn't unusually a concept as well. I ranked places and baseball parks that I love or have good memory, it just disposed some photos fixing one city or place at each month.)
뒷표지와 추가 페이지에 있는 디자인은 그 이전부터 쭉 사용하던 거고, 앞표지에는 랭킹에서 밀린 도시들의 사진들을 넣었다. 시애틀의 스타벅스 첫 매장, 밀워키 아트 뮤지엄, 클리블랜드에 있는 락앤롤 명예의 전당, 올랜도 유니버셜 스튜디오의 상징물이다.
(The design in back cover and additional pages have been used since about a couple years ago, I put some photos of cities which aren't high ranking in the front cover. The first store of Starbucks in Seattle, Milwaukee Art Museum, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, a signature of Universal studios Orlando.)
3월은 토론토와 뉴욕이다. 온타리오주에 위치한 나이아가라 폭포와 뉴욕 센트럴 파크 그리고 그 안에 있는 벨버디어 성의 모습을 담았고, 배경 이미지는 토론토 올드타운에서의 포토존이다. 날짜 쪽의 이미지는 아주 유명한 자유의 여신상이고.....
4월은 샌디에고의 모습인데 나만의 랭킹 5위에 든 만큼 매우 인상적인 곳이었다. 샌디에고 파드레스의 홈구장인 펫코 파크, 발보아 파크의 모습들을 담았다.
(March is Toronto in Ontario, Canada and New York. It put Niagara Falls in Ontario and Central Park in New York, Belvedere Castle inside Central Park, images of background is a photo zone in Toronto Old Town. Images of date page is very famous Statue of Liberty in New York.......
April's scape of San Diego, it has been very impressive place as the 5th ranking for only me. It put Petco Park of the home of San Diego Padres, scapes of Balboa Park.)
5월의 경우, 내가 가장 사랑하는 샌프란시스코의 모습을 담았다. 상황만 된다면 그 곳에서 내 생애 마지막을 맞이하고 싶은 만큼...... 샌프란시스코의 상징인 골든 게이트 브릿지, 샌프란시스코 자이언츠의 홈구장 AT&T 파크(현재는 오라클 파크), 트윈 픽스에서 본 샌프란시스코 야경, 역시 유명한 장소인 피어 39, 피어 39에서 살고 있는 바다표범, 케이블카까지 넣어봤다.
보스턴 또한 나에게는 참 매력적인 도시였던만큼 6월을 장식했다. 보스턴 레드삭의 홈구장 펜웨이 파크를 낀 보스턴 야경, 보스턴 덕 투어를 하며 찍은 보스턴 풍경을 담았다.
(In case of May, it put scape of San Francisco that I love the most. As I would like to live the last moment of my life if I can get any chance...... It put Golden Gate Bridge being a signature of San Francisco, AT&T Park of the home of San Francisco Giants(Oralce Park in the present time), a night scape of San Francisco seen Twin Peaks, Pier 39 being the famous tourist attraction, Sea Lion in Pier 39, Cable car.
Boston decked June as it was charming city to me. It put Boston night view including Fenway Park being the home of Boston Red Sox, scene taking photography in the boston duck tours.)
내가 4번째로 사랑하는 도시인 피츠버그의 모습을 7월에 담았다. 듀케인 인클라인과 모논가헬라 인클라인에서 본 피츠버그 도심의 전체 풍경 그리고 엘레게니 강에서 찍은 PNC 파크와 클레멘테 브릿지는 여전히 나에게는 최고의 사진들로 남아있고, 포인트 주립 공원과 PNC 파크 입구의 사진도 넣었다.
8월은 내가 세번째로 좋아하는 시카고가 주인공이다. 360 시카고 전망대에서 찍은 시카고의 멋진 야경, 시카고 화이트삭스의 홈구장 개런티드 레이트 필드, 아키텍처 보트 투어에서 감상한 리글리 빌딩과 마리나 타워, 시카코 컵스의 홈구장 리글리 필드, 밀레니엄 파크 안에 있는 클라우드 게이트 등을 담았다.
(It put Pittsburgh's scene which I love in the 4th in July. A whole of Pittsburgh's downtown seen at Duquesne and Monongahela Incline and PNC Park and Clemente Bridge where I take photography at Allegheny River are the best photos to me, it also put Point State Park and PNC Park.
Chicago where I love in the 3rd is the protagonist in August. It put the great night scape of Chicago which I take in 360 Chicago, Guaranteed Rate Field of the home of Chicago White Sox, Wrigley Building and Marina Tower watching at Architecture Boat Tour, Wrigley Field of the home of Chicago Cubs, Cloud Gate into Millenium Park.)
두번째로 사랑하는 도시 덴버와 콜로라도주가 9월을 장식했다. 로키 마운틴에 있는 알렌스 파크, 스프라그 호수, 콜로라도 주정부와 16번가 몰, 콜로라도 로키스의 홈구장 쿠어스 필드를 넣었다.
10월은 대자연을 자랑하는 애리조나 주, 미국의 수도 워싱턴 DC를 담아봤다. 세계에서 가장 유명한 협곡 그랜드 캐년과 숨은 관광지인 세도나, 또한 매우 유명한 백악관과 의회 의사당의 모습들이다.
(Denver and Colorado where I love the 2nd decoed September. It put Allenspark and Sprague Lake at Rocky Mountain, Colorado State Capitol and the 16th mall, Coors Field of the home of Colorado Rockies.
It put Arizona where boasts the mother nature, Washington DC being the capital of USA. These are Grand Canyon being the most famous canyon in the world and Sedona where is hidden tourist attractions, scapes of White House where is also the most famous United States Capitol.)
11월은 미주리주의 캔사스 시티 모습이다. 캔사스 시티에는 분수가 참 많은데 그 분수를 낀 캔사스 시티 유니온 역과 넬슨 앳킨스 미술관, 사이언스 시티, 캔사스 시티 로열스의 홈구장 카우프만 스타디움을 담았다.
12월은 세인트루이스 카디널스의 홈구장 부시 스타디움과 세인트루이스의 상징 게이트웨이 아치, 시애틀 매리너스의 홈구장 세이프코 필드(현재는 T-Mobile 파크)과 역시 시애틀의 상징인 스타벅스 첫번째 매장의 모습을 넣었다.
(November's scene of Kansis Ciey in Missouri. There are pretty many fountains in Kansas City, it put Kansas City Union Station with the fountain and Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, Science City, Kauffman stadium being the home of Kansas City Royals.
It put views of Busch Staditum where is the home of St. Louis Cardinals and Gate way Arch where is the signature there, Safeco Field where is the home of Seattle Mariners(T-Mobile Park in the present time) and The First Store of Starbucks where is the signature as well.)
2022년 1월은 클리블랜드의 락앤롤 명예의 전당과 클리블랜드 인디언스의 홈구장 프로그레시브 필드, 볼티모어의 펠스 포인트, 볼티모어 오리올스의 홈구장 오리올 파크를 넣었다.
마지막으로 2022년 2월에는 매우 덥지만 아름다운 휴양지 마이애미와 역시 아름답지만 유명하지 않은 도시인 포트워스의 모습을 담았다. 마이애미에서 멀지 않은 에버 글레이즈 국립공원의 늪지대에서 찍은 저 사진은 내 생애 최고의 사진이고, 바다를 낀 마이애미 다운타운의 야경도 매우 아름다우며, 생전 처음으로 직접 본 엘리게이터도 넣어봤다. 또한 포트워스에서 가장 유명한 스톡야드에서 캐틀 드라이브하는 모습을 담아봤고, 도심 속 작은 워터 가든의 모습도 넣어봤다.
(I put Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and Progressive Field being the home of Cleveland Indians, Fells Point in Baltimore and Oriole Park being the home of Baltimore Orioles in January 2022.
In the final, it put scene of Miami where is so hot and beautiful vacation spot, Fort Worth where is also beautiful and not famous city. That photo which takes photography at swamp of Everglades National Park not far Miami is the best photo in my life, a night scene of Miami downtown with ocean is very beautiful, alligator seen on the field at the first time. It put a scene of Cattle Drive in Fort Worth Stockyards where is the most famous in Fort Worth, a small water garden into urban.)
이제 남은 곳은 신구장을 포함하여 5곳의 야구장인데 올해도 Covid-19 때문에 나의 버킷 리스트는 잠시 중단된 상황이다. 내 삶이 허락되면 당연히 어떻게든 모두 다녀오겠지만 이 팬더믹으로 인해서 온전히 해외 여행을 할 수 있는 날이 언제 올지도 모르겠고, 언제까지 살 수 있을지는 신만이 아는 것이기에 조금씩 불안한 마음이 들기도 한다.
뭐 이래나저래나 좀 늦긴 했어도 올해 역시 나의 과업을 이로써 모두 완수하였다. 어느 정도는 후련하기도 하고, 뿌듯하기도 하지만 뭔가 디자인을 크게 바꿔보고 싶은데 매년 이 과제는 계속 이어지는 듯 하다.
(The rest places including new baseball parks are 5 ones, my bucket list is suspended for a while due to Covid-19 this year as well. If my life's permitted, of course I will all go that ones, but I am not sure when it can perfectly go overseas by this pandemic, I have an anxiety a little bit so only my God knows how long can I live.
Well, by the way, even though it is a little late, my task all completed this year as well. It feels relieved and rewarding somewhat, however I want to change my something designs a lot, I think this remaining task continues every year.)
