다람쥐 쳇바퀴 돌아가듯 매일매일 일상을 마주하다보면 우리 삶의 목적이 무엇인지를 자꾸만 잊어버리게 된다. 사는 게 너무 바빠서 혹은 그냥 습관처럼 하루하루를 살아나가는 상황들이 연출이 되곤 하는데 가끔은 이런 상황에서 벗어나 정말 내가 원하는 존재가 된다거나 원하는 곳으로 마냥 떠나고 싶다는 생각을 가지게 될 때가 있다. 내 인생의 주인공은 바로 나 자신이지만 실상은 다른 사람 아니면 다른 어떤 존재를 위해 살고 있는 게 아닐까하는 허탈함에 빠지기도 하고 말이다.

나에게는 그 중의 하나가 바로 이 야구장 투어이다. 내 버킷 리스트의 최상단을 차지하고 있으며, 한-미-일의 모든 야구장을 돌아보는 것이 가장 큰 꿈으로써 한국의 야구장은 새로 지어지는 곳만 가면 종료되고, 이제 남은 건 미국과 일본이다. 일본은 거리가 가깝기도 하고, 이미 반 정도는 돌아봤으니 아마도 멀지 않은 시일 내에 마무리될 것으로 보이는데 미국은 최소 10 ~ 15년은 걸리지 않을까 예상하고 있다.
(One of that is just Baseball park tour to me. That ranks the best of my bucket list, By looking around of all ball park of Korea and USA and Japan is the biggest dream, one of my dream comes true if I go to new ball park in Korea, after remaining things are USA and Japan.
I think Japan's ball park tour finishes in not long time cause it is close from here and I already looked around about half of ball park, but I'm expecting to take at least 10 years to 15 years that I look around for all ball park in USA.)
올해 2월 트로피카나 필드를 다녀온 것에 이어 다시 7월 MLB 야구장 투어를 시작했다. 여름 휴가 기간을 이용하여 8박 10일 정도로 계획했었지만 미르가 아팠던 관계로 여행 도중 7박 8일로 일정을 줄일 수 밖에 없었다. 그래도 짧은 시간 내에 알차게 여행한 듯 하지만......
(I went to Tropicana Field of Tampa Bay Rays in February, in succession I restarted MLB ball park tour in July. I made to plan for 10 days and 8 days, but I have to reduce 7 days and 8 nights in period of travel cause Mir was sick. Nevertheless I think I do good traveling well in short time.)

여정을 보니 야구장과 함께 가장 많이 방문한 곳이 공항인 것 같다. 시카고 오헤어 공항은 이번 2월에도 들렀었던 곳이지만 이번 여행 때만 방문한 공항이 총 6곳이다. 가히 야구장 투어라기보다는 공항 투어가 아닐런지...... ㅋ

세 도시를 방문한 만큼 각각의 도시별로 야구장 투어 - 관광 - 야구 게임 이렇게 3가지 주제와 정리글까지 쓰면 아마도 총 10 ~ 12개의 글을 쓰게 될 것 같다. 물론 글에 들어가는 사진보다 더 많은 사진을 보유하고 있고, 이미 편집 정리도 마친 상태이기는 하나, 사진은 블로그 이사 작업을 마친 후에 올리게 되지 않을까 싶다.

11) [2015 MLB TOUR] 워싱턴 내셔널스 vs 피츠버그 파이럿츠 경기(7/23 ~ 24 Game : Washington Nationals vs Pittsburgh Pirates)
이번 여행의 마지막 대미를 장식한 워싱턴 내셔널스 vs 피츠버그 파이럿츠 경기에 대한 글을 시작해본다.
올해만큼은, 아니 앞으로는 원래 내 세컨팀이었던 워싱턴 내셔널스보다는 정호가 입단한만큼 피츠버그 파이럿츠를 더 응원해보려고 노력했는데 아주 오래 응원해온 팀은 아니어도 더 많이 봐온 팀이라 그런지 자꾸만 내츠에 끌리는 내 마음을 어쩔 수 없었다. 가뜩이나 다르빗슈도 재활중이라 경기에 나오지 못해서 레인저스보다 내츠에 대해 더 신경이 많이 가기도 했고 말이다.
맥스 슈어저가 FA로 이적해온만큼 선발진을 비롯한 투수력이 탄탄하다 생각했고, 브라이스 하퍼의 포텐이 터지면서 랜돈, 데스몬드, 타머맨, 스팬, 워쓰 등 출중한 장타력을 가진 타선에 멀티 플레이어 유넬 에스코바를 보강해서 올 시즌은 해볼만하다고 봤는데 요즘 상황을 보면 안타깝기 그지 없다.

For this year only, no, in future, I tried to support Pittsburgh Pirates more as Jung Ho enter than Washington Nationals supporting the second naturally, it isn't so long supporting team, by the way I am watching this team much more, so I couldn't change my mind is attractable to Nats. Besides I was interested more about Nats than Rangers as Darvish who is undergoing rehabilitation.
I thought pitching power were strong with starting pitchers as Max Scherzer come from Detroit Tigers by free agent, I expected this team was able to go up higher place this year, cause Bryce Harper's potential displays and batters having excellent batting power of Rendon and Desmond and Zimmerman and Span and Werth and etc, plus this team reinforced Yunel Escobar of multi player, but I'm sorry that I look see what's happening these days.)
어쨌든 7/23 첫 날은 시간상 거의 경기 시작할 때쯤 야구장 안에 들어갔고, 초반 몇 분은 게임을 놓쳤던 것 같다. 며칠전부터 스텁헙에 나오는 티켓 가격이 계속 올라가더니 관중수도 엄청 많았다. 내가 아는 피츠버그 파이럿츠는 비인기팀인데 요즘 성적이 좋아서 그런지 분위기가 바뀌었나보다. 하긴 경기 전에 구장 주위를 둘러볼 때부터 심상치 않았으니.......
엠엘비 홈페이지에서 예매하기에는 원하는 자리가 없어서 스텁헙에서 예매를 했다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 중앙에 가까운 내야석 자리도 없었을 뿐더러 너무 비싸서 외야 가까운 자리를 구매할 수 밖에 없었는데 그래도 나름 자리가 많이 나쁘진 않았던 것 같다. 문제는 티켓 가격이 너무 비싸서 그 값은 못했다는 점......
내가 앉은 쪽이 좌익수와 유격수가 그나마 잘 보이는 자리라 사진찍기는 괜찮았다. 정호 찍기도 편했고, 또 데스몬드 찍기도 좋았으나, 하퍼 찍기는 넘 멀었다는.......
(Anyway I got into ball park about starting game almost and I thought early a few minutes missed the first day in July 23. Tickets price continuously goes up in stubhub, so there were a lot of spectators in ball park. Pittsburgh Pirates that I know is unpopular team, but the atmosphere changes due to good record these days. When I looked around near ball park before playing game, it was uncommon indeed......
I couldn't sell hoped-for seat in advance in MLB website, so I sold in advance in stubhub. Nevertheless infield seats near center seats wasn't and was so expensive, I should sell a seat near outfield, but the seat wasn't bad. A problem is so expensive ticket price and it wasn't good cost-effectiveness.
Taking picture wasn't bad cause the seat sees left fielder and short stop well. I was comfortable photography to Jung Ho and Desmond, but it was so far photography to Harper......)

그래도 7/24 경기는 좋은 자리에서 볼 수 있었다. 역시 가격이 비싸긴 했지만 그만한 값을 하는 자리였고, 내츠 덕아웃 바로 위라서 사진찍기도 너무 좋았다. 이 날은 자리도 자리고, 원래 응원팀 좌석 쪽이라 벅스 선수들은 거의 안 찍고, 거의 내츠 선수들만 찍었다. 어차피 벅스 선수들은 이전까지 많이 찍기도 했고......
(By the way, I was able to watch good seat in July 24. Also ticket was expensive, but it was a seat to have worth as much and I was very good to take pictures so on the top of Nats dugout by nature. My seat was like that and I sat at direction of seat my favorite team, so I didn't almost take pictures for Bucs' players and I took mostly pictures for Nats' players. I took pictures a lot for Bucs' players before in any case......)

이틀간의 경기를 할 동안 선수들의 훈련 모습은 제대로 볼 수 없었다. 2박 3일간의 짧은 일정으로 인해 시간이 충분치 않기도 했고, 어웨이팀이 훈련하는 동안 입장할 수 있기 때문이다. 물론 난 내츠를 좋아하니 들어가도 되긴 했지만 입장 시간에 들어가도 어웨이팀 훈련이 많이 진행된 상태라서 사실 큰 도움은 안된다. 이런 점은 캔자스시티 로열스의 early bird ticket이 최고인 듯......!!!
(I couldn't see players' training for game of 2 day. It wasn't enough due to short schedule of 3 days and 2 nights and it's able to enter during training away team. Of course I like Nats and I may get into ball park, but if I enter hours of admission, away team's training is a situation to proceed a lot, so can't big help to me. It looks like early bird tickets of Kansas City Royals is the best in terms of this......!!!)

워싱턴 내셔널스의 선발투수는 덕 피스터 - 맥스 슈어저 순서였고, 피츠버그 파이럿츠는 프란시스코 리리아노-제프 로크 순서였다.
올 시즌 끝난 후 FA가 되는 덕 피스터가 올해는 그닥 좋지 않은데 멀리서 봐서 제대로 보인 건 아니지만 이 날도 제구가 잘 안된다는 느낌이 들었다. 반면 리리아노는 데스몬드에게 맞은 홈런 부분만 제외하면 대체적으로 안정적인 모습을 보여주었고, 팀을 승리로 이끌었다.
맥스 셔저의 투구를 볼 수 있다는 것이 너무나 기뻤지만 아무래도 시즌 초부터 너무 많이 던지기도 했고, 정면 승부만 하려는 경향이 있어보였다. 맥스가 2009년부터 별다른 부상없이 꽤 많은 이닝을 소화했고, 특히 사이영상을 받았던 2013년부터 2년 연속 200이닝 이상을 던졌으며 올해도 200이닝 달성이 가능해보인다. 요즘 고전하고 있는 이유가 계속해서 너무 많이 던진 것도 있고, 상대팀들의 분석이 누구보다 더 자세히 된 상태라서 그렇지 않을까 생각이 든다. 셔저의 좋은 내용의 피칭을 보지 못해서 아쉽지만 그래도 MLB 최고의 투수 중 한 명이 던지는 모습을 직접 볼 수 있었다는 것만으로도 굉장히 뿌듯했다.
제프 로크는 뭐 여전히 불안하면서도 꾸역꾸역 막아주기는 했다. 하지만 실점하는 과정에서 2연속 볼넷에 적시타, 또 볼넷 내주고 2루타... 이거 어디서 많이 봤던 장면인데 MLB의 몇몇 선수들은 사람이긴 한가보다. ㅋ 볼질하는 것 보다는 차라리 셔저처럼 정면 승부하는 게 낫다는 생각도 들었고......

Doug Fister qualifying FA after to finish this season isn't good well this year and I wasn't properly seen so long distance, but I think he didn't have good control this day, too. Liriano generally showed stable pitching except only a part of hit homerun to Desmond on the other hand and he led his team to victory.
I was so glad to see Max Scherzer's pitching, somehow he pitched very much from the beginning of the season and it seemed that he had tendency which tries to do head-to-head-contest. Max digested a lot of inning without particular injury from 2009 and, especially pitched more than 200 inning 2 years in succession from 2013 that he became Cy Young awards winner, I think he is able to pitch 200 inning, too. I think why having tough these days is continuously pitching so much and opposite teams' profile is done in detail than anybody. I couldn't unfortunately watch scherzer's good pitching, by the way I was worthwhile that I could directly see to pitch one of great pitchers in MLB.
Jeff Locke still blocked disquietly and barely. But 2 straight walks and clutch hit, give one walk and double hit again in process of allowing runs... This is often a scene to see somewhere(KBO? -_-;;), but some players in MLB was human.(There are a lot of players to have great ability in MLB...^^) I thought it was better doing head-to-head-contest like Scherzer than giving walks.......)

사실 두 팀 다 중간계투진이 탄탄하다는 느낌은 안 든다. 세부적인 스탯은 벅스 중간계투들이 좋지만 경기내용을 보면 크게 안정적이지는 않았던 걸로 기억한다. 아마도 팬그래프나 베이스볼 레퍼런스의 세이버 스탯을 좀 뒤져보면 그 느낌이 대강 나올 것 같기는 한데 또 이 때와 지금이 어떻게 달라졌을지는 모르는 거니까 그냥 느낌만 간직하고 있어야 할 것 같다.
7/23에 나왔던 태너 로악은 작년 대비해서 페이스가 떨어진 것 같고, 아퀴메데스 카미네로는 빠른 볼만으로는 MLB에서 살아남을 수 없다는 진리를 깨닫게 해주고 있으며 7/24에 나온 애론 바렛도 작년의 선전이 플루크일지도 모르겠단 생각이 들었다. 하긴 지금은 두 팀 다 구원투수를 보강했으니(내츠는 파펠본, 벅스는 블랜튼과 소리아) 조금 나아지긴 했다.
(In fact, I don't feel to have strong relievers both. Bucs' relievers are good in detail stats, but I remembered they weren't pretty stable in game contents. Maybe I'll be sure that the feeling is right if I should search for stats of fan graphs or baseball-reference, but I don't know how records have changed to compare the time with now, so I think I just have the felling.
Tanner Roark looks like to go down his pace and the truth that only fastball can't survive in case of Arquimedes Caminero in MLB makes me realize in July 23, I thought possibly Aaron Barrett would be fluke activity of last year in July 24. Anyway both teams all reinforced relievers(Nats was Jonathan Papelbon, Bucs was Joe Blanton and Joakim Soria) for now, so they was better a little bit.)

벅스 타선은 오랜만에 홈구장으로 돌아와서 그런지 더 힘이 났나보다. 이틀 모두 10개 이상의 안타를 때려냈고, 장타도 많이치면서 두 경기 모두 승리를 가져갔다. 솔직히 내가 보러 간 어웨이 게임에서나 좀 이겨주지, 왜 하필 내츠 만나서 이런건지 약간 원망스럽기는 했다. ㅜㅜㅜㅜ
(Bucs' batters looked like to buck up more so they came the home after a long time. They hit hits more than 10 both days and an extra-base hits a lot, so they took wins both all games. Honestly I wished they won in away game that I see, I was reproachful a little why they did like that to Nats only. :( )
어쨌든 7/23 경기에서 벅스는 투수를 제외한 선발 타자들이 모두 안타를 기록했고, 3-4-5번 타순이었던 매커친-마르테-강정호는 모두 멀티히트를 기록했으며 알바레즈, 매커친, 서벌리가 홈런을 쳤다. 내츠는 이 날 데스몬드가 홈런 포함하여 2타점을 올려줬지만 상위 타순이 터지지 않으면서 경기가 풀리지 않았던 것 같다.
(Anyway starting batters all recorded hit except pitcher in Bucs and McCutchen-Marte-Kang being 3-4-5 of the batter order all recorded multi-hit, Alvarez and McCutchen and Cervelli all hit homerun in July 23. Desmond recorded 2 RBi including homerun this day in Nats, but the top of the batting order didn't hit well, it didn't look like good game.)
내츠 입장에서는 7/24 경기가 좀 아까웠던 것이 제프 로크가 흔들릴 때 더 몰아붙였어야 하지 않았나 하는 부분이었다. 물론 4회 때 4점이나 얻었지만 벅스 릴리프들을 공략하지 못했으니 할 수 있을 때 벌어뒀어야 했던 것 같다.
타일러 무어는 기록으로 나타나지 않는 뭔가가 있나보다. 볼 때마다 적시타를 때려줬는데 실상 기록은 별로 좋지 않았고, 이 날도 단 1안타에 그쳤지만 그 1안타가 중요한 시점에서의 타점으로 연결이 되었으니 말이다.
하퍼군은 참 안타까운 게 치고 싶어도 투수들이 승부를 피한다. 이 날도 2루타를 기록하긴 했지만 볼넷으로 출루한 게 2번이나 되니...
(The reason that game of July 24 could win in Nats was a part of thing that they could push more when Jeff Locke was unstable condition. Of course, they earned 4 point at the top of fourth, but they had to earn whenever they could cause they couldn't conquer of Bucs' reliefs.
Tyler Moore have something which appears by record. Whenever he got clutch hit, but his record wasn't good well and he recorded only one hit this day, by the way the only hit connected RBI in important moment.
The thing of regrettable about Bryce Harper is thing of pitchers to avoid match if he want to hit. He also recorded double hit, but he got on base by 2 walks.......)
벅스는 7/24도 마찬가지로 활발한 공격력을 뽐냈다. 맥스 셔저를 상대로 많은 안타와 홈런을 만들어내면서 승기를 잡았고, 그 과정으로 홈팬들에게 2연승이란 선물을 안겨줬다. 난 올해 마지막으로 직접 볼 수 있었던 이 경기까지 내츠가 져서 우울했지만...... ㅜㅜㅜㅜ

They made a lot of hits and homerun opposite to Max Scherzer and held winning's energy and they gave present of 2 straight wins to home fans according to the process. MLB 팀들은 전체적으로 팬들을 위해 다양한 이벤트를 하고 있고, 일정이 나오면 그 이벤트 내용을 미리미리 정해두는 것 같다. 더 대단한 점은 MLB 일정이 전년도 9월쯤에 나오는데 그때부터 매우 부지런히 준비하는지 어느 순간 내가 볼 경기들을 체크하다보면 어떤 이벤트가 진행되는지 나와 있었다.
여행을 떠나기 한참 전인 시즌 초부터 프로모션 내용을 알 수 있었기에 어느 경기를 일찍 가야 하는지 미리 정해둘 수 있어서 참 편했고, 기념품을 공짜로 얻을 수 있는 기회라 더 좋았다. 물론 다 선물이 걸려있는 건 아니고, 다른 행사도 많이 있다.
7/23은 경기 후 불꽃놀이가 예정되어 있었고, 7/24은 선착순 몇 명까지 티셔츠를 받을 수 있는 프로모션이 진행되었다. 특히 PNC 파크에서 펼쳐지는 불꽃놀이는 주위 다운타운, 강, 다리까지 함께 조화롭게 볼 수 있는 기회라 더 기대가 되었고, 사랑하는 사람과 함께할 수 있었다면 더 로맨틱한 분위기를 연출할 수 있었을 것 같다. :)
(Overall, MLB teams are doing various events for fans and they seemed the events content decides beforehand if game schedule open. The greater thing is already opening MLB schedule at about September previous year and they look like to prepare very diligently from the time, I could see which events are going along when I checked games watching me.
I could know detail promotion from the top of season long before traveling and I was comfortable so I could already plan that I should go early which game, I was better to chance getting souvenirs in free. Of course, promotion contents don't include gifts every time, there are many another events.
After game, it was scheduled for fireworks in July 23 and promotion getting tee-shirts by order of arrival proceed in July 24. Especially I was anticipated more that fireworks to unfold at PNC park is chance to see concinnously with near downtown and river and bridges, I thought if I'm able to see with someone that I love, it looked like direct more romantic atmosphere. :) )

이렇게 마지막 날의 여정이 모두 마무리되었다. 너무 짧은 여행이라 아쉬운 마음이 가득했지만 내가 살아있는 한 다음에 또 갈 수 있는 곳이라고 애써 위안을 삼으며 마지막 밤을 보냈던 것 같다. 그렇게 피곤했는데도 잠이 안 와서 혼났지만......
(Itinerary of last day all finished like this. I was a full of regrettable mind so very short traveling, but I thought I spent last night laboriously seeking comfort and I was thinking a place where I can go next time again as long as I breathe. I couldn't sleep although I was so tired.)
