가끔은 참 내 자신이 대책없이 느껴진다. 남들 눈으로 보기에는 한심해 보일 수 있지만 그렇다고 할지라도 버킷 리스트를 달성하고자 하는 이 꿈과 의지를 멈출 수 없는 아이러니는 대체 무엇이란 말인지...... 뭔가 설명할 수 없는 이 급박함은 최근 몇 년동안 건강이 좋아지지 않으면서 비롯되었고, 어쩌면 생각 외로 빨리 이 세상을 떠날 수 있겠다는 생각 또한 들어서 그런 것 같다. 이제는 well-dying이 내 인생의 모토가 되어가고 있다.
힘든 시간을 거쳐오는 와중에 어찌저찌 9월말 며칠과 추석 연휴를 이용해서 또 다시 야구장 투어를 할 수 있었는데 그 부분에 대해서 항상 하느님께 감사드린다. 이렇게 내 꿈을 끊임없이 실천할 수 있도록 항상 도와주시고 계시고, 앞으로도 도와주시리라 믿고 있다.
(Sometimes I feel reckless myself pretty much. Another people think pathetically me, but what is this irony that it can't stop this dream and will to achieve my bucket list...... This urgency can't explain something originated my health not good recently for a couple years, it also feels like maybe I will be able to pass away from this world quickly than I expect. Well-dying is becoming motto of my life from someday.
While I have spent rough time, I could do MLB ballpark tour for some days including thanksgiving holiday in the end of September again, I appreciate about the part to my God. He's constantly helping me to achieve my dream like this, I believe he helps me in succession.)

8박 10일이라는 다소 짧은 기간이기는 하였으나, 사실 이 기간도 예상보다 더 길어진 것이라서 정말 감사하는 마음으로 다녀올 수 있었다. 내 응원팀들의 경기와 MLB 구장 투어를 목적으로 한 여행이었기에 이번에 새로 다녀온 곳은 2곳이었고, 알링턴은 2016년부터 매년 한번씩은 들르고 있어서 뭔가 제 2의 고향같은 기분이 든다. 안타까운 건 내가 미국에서 살고 싶은 도시 목록에 달라스와 알링턴은 없다는 점이지만...... :)
으레 그래왔던대로 간 곳마다 여행 - 야구장 투어 - 야구 경기 이렇게 세 챕터로 나누어 글을 쓸 것이며 알링턴에서는 특별히 관광을 하지는 않아서 정리글까지 총 9개의 글로 마무리할 수 있을 것이다.
{It was a short time of 8 nights 10 days though, I could go having thankful mind so it was honestly longer than I expected, The city where I have visited first in this time was 2 ones cause it was purpose for baseball games of my teams and MLB ballparks tour, I feel like Arlington is my second hometown whether I've been staying once every year since 2016. The sad thing's there is nothing Dallas and Arlington in the city list which I hope to live...... :)
As I've always been doing, I'll post to divide 3 chapters like tour-baseball park tour-baseball game wherever I visited, finish total 9 reviews including epilogue so I didn't do sightseeing especially in Arlington.}
6. [MLB TOUR(23)] 세이프코 필드 : 시애틀 매리너스의 홈구장 (Safeco Field : Home of the Seattle Mariners)

올해 마지막이자 23번째로 방문한 야구장은 시애틀 매리너스의 홈구장 세이프코 필드였다. 개폐식 돔구장으로 천연 잔디를 사용하고 있고, 시애틀 다운타운의 소도 지역에 위치해 있어 대중교통으로 접근이 용이한 곳이다.
하지만 이제 '세이프코 필드' 라는 이름은 역사 속으로 사라질 예정이다. 세이프코 보험과 구장 명명권 계약이 올해까지라 내년부터 'T-모바일'과 다시 계약을 맺는다고 하는데 아직 협상이 완전히 마무리된 상황은 아니어서 구장 명칭이 정해지지는 않은 것 같다.
이 곳 역시 많은 팬들이 좋아하는 구장이라 내심 많은 기대를 했었는데 잔디 색도 이쁘고, 전체적으로 특색있는 구조 등 그 기대에 부응할만큼 좋은 시설을 자랑하고 있다. 시애틀은 1년 내내 온화한 편이라 다른 돔구장과는 달리 지붕이 온도 조절이 되는 형태가 아니며 우산처럼 그라운드와 관중석을 덮는다고 한다.
(The ballpark where I visited the last and 23rd this year was Safeco Field of Seattle Mariners. It uses natural turf as being retractable roof ballpark, located in Seattle's SoDo, so accessible by public transportation.
But a name 'Safeco Field' will disappear to the history. Because long contract between Safeco Insurance and naming rights about ballpark is over this year, they make a contract with 'T-Mobile' from next season, it seems ballpark's name doesn't confirm so the contract isn't totally finished.
I had a lot of expectation in my heart so many fans also like here, it boasts very good facilities as the expectation of pretty grass color and unique construction in the whole. Seattle tends mild all through the year, so roof hasn't a form climate-controlled contrary the other retractable roof ballpark, it covered ground and stand like umbrella.)

스타디움 역에서 내려 대충 10분 정도 걸어가면 세이프코 필드가 나온다. 역시 스타디움 역이란 이름대로 중간 오르막길에서 센추리 링크 필드를 볼 수 있는데 이 곳은 NFL과 MLS 팀의 홈구장이자 다목적 경기장이다.
원래 부리나케 호텔에 짐을 맡기고, 오후 12시 30분 마지막 시간대의 세이프코 필드 투어를 하려고 했으나, 공항에서 호텔까지의 접근성이 좋지 않았어서 그 때까지 도착하기에는 시간이 되질 않았다. 나중에 다시 들르게 되면 투어 상품도 꼭 이용해 봐야겠다.

찬찬히 구경했어야 했는데 시간이 너무 없어서 꼭 가야할 곳들만 들렀던 것 같다. 그래서 여전히 아쉽다. 물론 내 팀의 경기를 끝까지 보고 갈 수 있었기에 어느 정도 위안은 되었지만 말이다.
제일 꼭대기층 중앙으로 가면 저 사진처럼 아이들을 위한 공간이 다수 있고, 꽤 잘 꾸며져 있어서 가족 단위의 관중들이 참 가기 좋은 구역으로 보였다. 게다가 아예 전체적으로 복도 공간 자체도 참 넓직하니 마음껏 뛰어놀 수 있고......
(I had to look around in detail, but I dropped by necessary spaces due to not enough time. So I still feel lacking. Of course, the part that I could watch my team's game till the end gave comfort to me somewhat.
In the middle of the upper floor as that photos, there are several spaces for kids, it decorates pretty well, it seemed the good area to spectators of family unit. Moreover the whole of hallway is large, kids play as they want......)

해가 완전히 질 때까지 기다리면서 더 멋진 야경을 찍어보려고 했으나, 나의 팀이 이 날 어웨이 게임을 온 것이라 경기를 놓칠 수가 없었다. 물론 이 곳에서 경기를 봐도 상관은 없었지만 그래도 이왕이면 내 선수들을 가까이서 보고 싶은 마음이 더 컸다. :)
그래도 정말 너무 아름답지 않은가......!!! 아까 언급했듯이 지붕 구조부터가 독특하면서도 전체적으로 완벽한 대칭형의 형태와 불규칙한 관중석 형태의 조화 그리고 여러 구조물들의 위치 등등 역시 나의 기대에 걸맞는 곳임에 틀림없었다.
(I thought I took some photography about more beautiful night scene until totally falling sun, I couldn't miss this game cause my first team was playing game here as visiting team. Of course, it didn't care watching game in this area though, I wanted to see my guys closely. :)
But is it really so beautiful......!!! As I said ahead, it was fitting place with my expectation like roof's construction is unique, harmony perfect symmetrical figure in the whole and form of irregular stands and location of some constructions and etc.)
구장 투어를 했으면 더 알찬 글을 쓸 수 있었을텐데 이렇게 멋진 구장에 대한 글을 단문으로 끝내는 것 같아 너무 아쉽다. 앞으로 저 세이프코 필드란 글자가 어떤 글귀와 형태로 바뀔지 궁금하고, 또 어떤 식으로 리모델링이 되어 더 아름답게 바뀔게 될지 사뭇 기대가 된다. 정말 다음에 가게 될 때 꼭 구장 투어를 해봐야겠다.
(I'd be able to post better writing if I participated ballpark tour, it is so sad cause I think I tries to finish a short writing about beautiful ballpark like this. I wonder how letters and style being Safeco Field can change in the near future, I'm expected how this ballpark can be upgraded and how much it gets beautiful. When I go there next time, I'll certainly participate ballpark tour.)
