매일매일 치열하고 고된 일상을 살아가다보면 그에 따른 반대 급부로 항상 내가 앞으로 어떤 삶을 살 것인지에 대하여 눈을 감고 그려보곤 한다. 아담하지만 편안하고 안락한 나만의 작은 집, 소소하게 먹고 살 수 있을만한 제2의 직업, 여전히 계속하여 진행할 버킷 리스트까지 미르가 내 곁에 없는 지금 이 때, 이렇게 살아가야할 이유를 하나둘씩 만들어가는데 한편으론 지금 이 '한-미-일 야구장 투어' 라는 버킷 리스트를 실행해나가는 내 자신이 무모하고 대책없이 느껴지기도 한다. 여유로운 상황에서 떠나는 여행이 아니니 말이다.
하지만 시계추를 돌려 이 버킷 리스트를 시작한 2015년으로 다시 돌아간다 해도 어차피 난 똑같은 선택을 반복했을 것이다. 그만큼 가끔 내 스스로가 한심하게 느껴지나, 애써 이 점을 무시하고 이번 여행에 대한 소회를 써내려가본다.
(To live on intense and arduous every single day, the reverse about it, I always close my eyes and imagine how I will live in the future. A small but comfortable and cozy my house, the second job that can live small on only me, bucket list to process in succession, I'm creating alive reasons one by one like this without Mir, I feel reckless and irresponsible by myself who executes this bucket list 'Korea-USA-Japan's baseball park tour' on the other side. Because travel isn't what I leave to have enough money.
However even though it comes back pendulum and returns to 2015 that has started this bucket list, I'd do the same selection over and over again. Sometimes I feel stupid by myself as much as that, I try to ignore this point with effort and write my cherished intentions about this travel.)

이번 한국의 추석연휴는 정말 많은 사람들이 기다려 왔었을 것이다. 추석과 여러 국공휴일이 결합되어 최소 10일의 황금 연휴가 구성되었기 때문에 나처럼 여행을 좋아하는 사람들은 몇 개월 전부터 이 시기를 오매불망 기다리고 있었던 것... 그 덕택으로 항공권 가격이 평소보다 최소 2~3배는 비싸서 고민하다가 이렇게 한국-일본 왕복항공권, 일본-미국 왕복항공권(일본은 연휴가 아니니까)을 따로 끊어 그나마 나와 비슷한 시간대로 미주 코스를 갔던 다른 사람들보다는 꽤 많이 절약할 수 있었다. 물론 몸이 힘들었던 건 덤......
(So many people would wait this thanksgiving holiday of Korea. People who like travel as me were looking forward to this period since a few months ago cause it consisted of golden holiday of 10 days at least to combine thanksgiving day and some national holidays... Airlines ticket's price were expensive two to three times than regular day due to that and I was considering some things, I separately purchased round trip tickets of Korea-Japan and Japan-USA(Japan wasn't holidays) like this, I could save pretty much than the other people who went to USA by similar time. Of course, the bonus is what was so tired......)
이렇게 이동거리가 긴 편이라 실제로 많은 곳을 돌아보진 못해서 기존에 다녀온 여행보다는 찍은 사진의 양은 좀 적은 듯 싶지만 그래도 내 응원팀인 텍사스 레인저스 경기-일본 야구장 투어 및 그 외의 이야기-미국 야구장 투어 두 곳과 포스트시즌-그랜드 캐년 투어-달라스 야경-여행 정리까지 7개의 글을 써볼 예정이고 그 다음 여행 사진 모두 이 곳의 앨범에 올릴 예정이다.

3. [2017 MLB TOUR(4)] 그랜드 캐년, 광활한 대자연의 신비(2) (Grand Canyon, Mystery of Vast Mother Nature)(2)
그랜드 캐니언은 미국 애리조나주 북부에 고원 지대를 흐르는 콜로라도 강에 의해 깍여진 거대한 협곡이다. 콜로라도 강의 계곡은 글랜 캐니언댐 밑의 리스페리부터 446km의 엄청난 거리를 흘러 서쪽 미드호로 들어가는데 이 구간의 양 쪽 계곡을 그랜드 캐니언이라 불리게 되었다고 한다. 콜로라도 강에 의해서 깍인 계곡의 깊이는 1,600미터에 이르고, 폭은 최대 30km에 이른다. 시오도어 루즈벨트 대통령이 1908년 그랜드 캐니언을 내셔널 모뉴먼트로 지정하였고, 1919년에는 국립공원으로 승격되었으며 1979년 유네스코 세계유산으로 지정되었다.
그랜드 캐년의 동쪽은 나바호 인디언 보호구역, 중앙은 하바수파이 인디언 보호구역, 서쪽 지역은 왈라파이 인디언 보호 구역과 접해 있는데 나바호 족에 대해서는 미국 드라마 '캐슬(Castle)'에서 살짝 들어본 적이 있었다.
(Grand Canyon's a huge canyon where was carved by Colorado river flows through plateau area in the north of Arizona, USA. Valley of Colorado river flows a huge distance of 446km from Lees Ferry under Glen Canyon Dam to Lake Mead of west way, both valley of this section was called Grand Canyon. Valley's height carved by Colorado river is 1,600m and width is 30km in the maximum. Previous president Theodore Roosevelt Jr. has designated National Monument for one in 1908, it was raised to National park in 1919, has designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
The east side of Grand Canyon borders the Navajo Nation, the center borders the Havasupai Reservation, the west side borders the Hualapai Reservation, I've heard a little about Navajo people from the show 'Castle' in America.)

세도나 메인 스트리트에서 한참을 달려 드디어 기다리고 기다리던 그랜드 캐년 국립 공원에 도착했다. 가이드가 한참 운전하다가 잠시 속도를 늦췄는데 바로 저 꼬리 검은 사슴을 알려주려고 한 것이었다. 실제 꼬리 검은 사슴을 찾아보니 덩치도 크고 뿔이 긴 암컷 사슴(Elk Creek)도 있던데 저 친구는 아직 어린 숫사슴인 거 같았다. 어쩜 이리 귀여운지!!! :)
그랜드 캐년 국립공원 안에 많은 호텔들이 있다고 가이드가 설명해줬는데 그 숫자는 기억이 나지는 않는다. 그 중 엘 토바 호텔에서 약 1시간 30분 정도 시간을 줘서 사우스림 트레일을 쭉 걸으며 장대한 협곡의 규모를 새삼 실감할 수 있었고, 가다보니 방문자 센터와 여러 상점도 있었던 것 같다.
(It ran by van for a long time from Sedona Main Street and finally arrived Grand Canyon National Park where has waited a lot. Guide drove for a while and reduced car's speed for a minute, he would just tell us about Mule Deer. Actually I find out about Mule Deer, there's female Mule Deer calling Elk Creek that has big build and long horn, I thought that buddy was still young male Mule Deer. What a cute!!! :)
Also he explained it has a lot of hotels in the Grand Canyon National Park, I don't remember the count. We could get free time about 1.5 hours at El Tovar Hotel, so I walked straight through South Rim Trail and could realize a huge scale of canyon, there were visitor center and some stores.)

내가 여기서 실수한 점이 하나 있었던 것 같다. 애리조나가 워낙 더운 날씨를 자랑하는 곳이라 3부 바지에 칠부 소매 블라우스를 입고 갔었는데 여기 도착하니 엄청 추웠다. 두꺼운 겉옷 하나 가지고 갔었어야 했는데 너무 추워서 벌벌 떨며 이 곳을 걸었던 기억이 지금도 생생하다. 그것만 아니었음 이 주위를 맘껏 누비고 다녔을 것인데...... ㅜㅜ
그랜드 캐니언 안에는 1,700여종의 식물이 자라고 있고, 350여종의 조류, 90여종의 포유류, 57종의 양서류 동물이 살고 있는데 저 꽃들의 이름은 잘 모르겠다. 웬지 저 노란 꽃은 브룸 스내이크위드인 거 같은데 보라색 꽃 이름은 잘 모르겠다. 아이리스 종류가 아닌 건 확실한데.....
(There was a point made a mistake here. I've wore a short pants and blouse of half sleeve so it boasts hot weather in Arizona, it was so chilly. I had to go to bring a thick outer, I remember vividly what I shivered with the cold and walked there. I'd freely go around there if it takes that...... T.T
Sort of 1,700 plants are growing and sort of 300 birds and 90 mammals and 57 amphibians are living in the Grand Canyon, I don't know well that flowers. I think the yellow flowers are Broom Snakeweed, I don't also know purple flowers well. It's sure not sort of Iris......)

[그랜드 캐년 약수?(Grand Canyon Spring Water)]
최소한 모하비 포인트까지는 다녀왔어야 했는데 진짜 겉옷 챙겨가지 않은 게 너무 후회가 된다. 물론 계속 저 붉은 암석으로 만들어진 협곡을 보게 되면 비슷하게 보이기도 하지만 그래도 각 포인트마다 다른 점이 있기는 하니 말이다.
계곡에 노출된 암석은 크게 세 부류로 나뉘는데 협곡이 가장 낮은 곳은 비쉬누편암과 화성암, 변성암으로 구성되어있다. 지하의 깊은 곳에서 뜨거운 지열과 높은 암력으로 만들어졌다. 두번째는 그 위를 덮고 있는 수퍼그룹 암석으로 화산 활동으로 형성된 암석과 퇴적암이 겹쳐져 경사지게 되어 있으며 약 7억 4천만 년에서 12억년 전의 선캄브리아 시기에 형성된 암석이다. 세번째 부류의 암석은 가장 많이 노출된 것으로 시루떡같이 수평으로 겹쳐져 형성된 퇴적암의 계단 모양으로 되어 있다.
지층을 구성하는 암석들은 오래 되었으나, 협곡 자체가 만들어진 건 지난 5~7백만년에 불과한 것으로 연구되고 있다. 그랜드 캐니언이 만들어진 가장 큰 이유는 융기 현상인데 당시 늪지대이거나 해안 지대였던 지층이 3,000미터 이상 들어올려져 콜로라도 고원이 형성되었다고 한다.
여기에 더해 로키 산맥에서 흘러내린 콜로라도 강물이 계곡의 지층을 깍아 깊고 넓은 협곡을 만들었다. 지질학자들의 연구대상이 된지 150여년이 지났지만 아직도 새로운 발견이 계속 이루어지고 있다고 한다.
(I had to go even until Mohave Point at least, I'm regret a lot so I don't bring outer. Of course, constantly seen that canyon to make by red rock, it looks likewise all canyons, anyway there is another thing at each point.
Rock exposed by valley is divided three categories, the lowest space consists of Vishnu Schisit and Igneous rock or Metamorphic rock. They was made by hot geothermal heat and high pressure. In the second, Supergroup rock be covered the first floor is inclined to be overlapped rock which was made by volcano active and Sedimentary rock, this rock is formed in Precambrian period before about 0.74 billion to 1.2 billion. In the rock of the third category consists of Sedimentary rock's floor shape to be overlapped horizontally like Siru rice cake as the most exposed thing.
Rocks which consist of stratum was old, the thing was made canyon by itself is researched only before 5 million to 7 million. The most reason to be made Grand Canyon is uplift phenomenon, stratum being bog or coastline in that time was lifted up more than 3,000m, so Colorado plateau was made.
Besides river water of Colorado that rolls down from Rocky Mts carves stratum of valley and was made deep and wide canyon. Grand Canyon has passed over 150 years to be object of research for geologists, however new discovery is still consisting in succession.)

야바파이 포인트까지는 너무 멀어서 못가고, 사우스림 트레일 동쪽 방향으로 좀 올라가봤다. 옷만 따뜻하게 입었으면 올라가서 더 멋진 광경을 봤을텐데... T.T
모하비 포인트 방향보다는 이 야바파이나 마더 포인트로 쭉 걸어가면서 그랜드 캐년을 감상하는 게 더 멋질 거 같다. 그 쪽에서 찍은 사진을 보니 더 높은 지대에 있어서 더 넓게 펼쳐진 풍경을 볼 수 있었을 것 같다. 아무래도 한번 더 가야겠어......
이 투어 상품이 또 하나 좋았던 것이 이렇게 튼실한 점심 도시락이 나왔던 부분이었다. 토핑이 가득 들어있는 샌드위치 두 조각과 포테이토칩, 고구마칩, 대형 초코칩 쿠키가 들어있는 박스였고, 물은 무한제공이었다. 물도 저 앞에 사진에 나왔던 그랜드 캐년 약수라고 했던 기억이 난다. 역시 비싼 만큼 그 값을 한다.
(I couldn't go to Yavapai Point due to so far, have gone up to east way of South Rim Trail. If I wore clothes warmly, I'd go up and look more wonderful landscape... T.T
I think to look around Grand Canyon landscape of the way to this Yavapai or Mather Point is more wonderful than way to Mohave point. To see the photos taking at Yavapai or Mather point, it seems it can look widely spreading landscape so the points are hill section. I'll go here once again......
One more thing that I like was a part getting full lunch box like that. It was the box to be two pieces of Sandwich and potato chips and sweet potato chips and a bit chocolate chip cookie, bottle of water was provided limitless. Guide told water is also Grand Canyon Spring one like ahead photo. It has worth of the price as expensive.)

이 곳은 구글맵에 따로 전망대라고 표시된 부분은 아닌 것 같다. 그 때 가이드가 본인이 가장 좋아하는 포인트가 여기라며 소개해줬던 기억도 나고, 이 글을 쓰기 직전 구글맵을 계속 뒤져봤지만 따로 명칭을 찾지는 못했다. 물론 저 도날드 덕 모양의 암석을 볼 수 있는 유명한 포인트는 따로 있기는 한 거 같은데 그곳 사진과 비교해봐도 이 사진들이 전혀 비슷한 느낌이 아니었던 것이다.
그래서 그 분 덕택에 콜로라도 강이 훤히 내려다보이는 더 넓게 펼쳐진 협곡을 볼 수 있었던 것 같다. 사진으로 이 장대한 풍경을 모두 다 담아낼 수 없었다는 부분이 너무 안타까울 따름이다. 이래서 광각 렌즈가 필요한 거!!!
정말 이 곳이 내가 본 그랜드 캐년 중 가장 멋진 곳이었다.
(I don't think this point has official name on the google map. I remember guide introduced his favorite point is here then, I was deeply looking for google map beforehand writing this post, but I couldn't find out the name. Of course I think there is the famous point where can look shape of duck on the rock, however it didn't seem that these photos were alike comparing with photos of that point at all.
So I could look more widely spreading canyon where clearly looked down Colorado river due to him. I feel lacking a lot the part that could all put this huge landscape in my photos. Therefore it need a super-wide angle lens!!!
The place was really really the most wonderful one of the Grand Canyon seen me.)
아직도 그랜드 캐년을 생각하면 그 엄청난 대자연의 신비를 몸소 느낄 수 있었다는 점이 매우 감격스럽다. 새벽부터 피곤한 몸을 이끌고 간 거라 돌아오는 내내 몇 번이나 머리를 창가에 부딪혔는지 기억도 나지 않지만 정말 다녀오기를 잘한 것 같다. 라스베가스 갈 때 다시 한번 또 들렀다 와야겠다는 굳은 다짐을 하게 된다!!!
(To think still Grand Canyon, I'm very impressed that could feel mystery of a huge Mother Nature in personally. I don't remember how much my head hit to vehicle's window throughout returning to hotel so I was so tired from dawn, but I really think good that visited there. I resolve I'll drop by there once again when I go to Las Vegas!!!)
