『한 여자가 에메랄드 빛의 해안을 보며 끝도 없이 펼쳐진 백사장을 조용히 걷고 있었다. 한 손에는 카메라를 들고, 다른 한 손으로 새하얀 솜뭉치처럼 보이는 몰티즈의 어깨끈을 쥐며 느릿느릿 그 사이를 가로지르고 있다. 때마침 붉은 석양이 드리우며 그녀의 발걸음을 멈추게 만들었고, 몰티즈와 함께 잠시 백사장에 주저앉아 수평선을 지그시 바라보며 카메라 셔터를 누르기 시작한다. 그 순간, 누군가가 다가와 그 둘을 넓고 든든한 어깨로 감싸주었고, 그렇게 그들은 따스한 속삭임을 주고 받으며 다시 백사장 한쪽 끝을 향해 걸어가기 시작했다.』
삶의 여유 그리고 자유를 꿈꾸다보면 항상 이런 모습들을 그리곤 한다. 바다, 해변, 강아지, 로맨틱한 풍경, 카메라 등등...... 아마도 인생의 축소판이라고 볼 수 있는 여행이란 단어가 나에게 그러한 여유로움과 자유를 안겨주는 주된 요소이지 않을까하는 생각이 든다. 지금으로선 미르를 다시 만날 수 없는 상황이지만 천국에서 나중에 미르와 재회하고, 사랑하는 사람과도 합류하게 되면 저런 따스한 풍경이 펼쳐질 것이라 믿어보며 이 글을 시작해본다.

Dreaming composure of life and liberty, I've always used to draw like this. Ocean, beach, dog, romantic view, camera, etc...... Maybe It seems a word 'travel' can speak microcosm of life is an element that gives composure and liberty like that to me. It's a situation can't meet Mir again for now, but if I meet with Mir later and also join with loved one in heaven, I believe I can see wonderful view like that and start to post this writing.)

상황이 상황인지라 가성비 좋은 여행을 계획하여 이번에도 가보지 못한 4군데의 야구장을 돌아보며 나름 관광지도 알차게 찾아다닐 수 있었다. 여행을 다녀온 이후 미국 동부와 중부, 서부 그리고 한국까지 짧은 기간 안에 넘나드느라 가뜩이나 약해진 체력이 더 떨어지면서 시차 적응에 애를 먹은 건지 아니면 건강이 많이 안 좋아진 것인지 확실한 이유는 알 수 없지만 병원을 수시로 들락날락할 정도로 아프기도 했다. 그래도 이 여행에 대해서 후회는 없는 것이 여행 중에는 아픈 적이 전혀 없었기 때문에 돌아오는 것 자체가 나에게 더 스트레스로 다가오지 않았을까 싶고, 이게 더 설득력 있는 요인으로 느껴진다.
항상 그래왔듯이 관광, MLB 볼파크, 야구, 정리글까지 이렇게 나눠서 기록해볼 예정이고, 30개 구장(도시까지)을 모두 돌아보고 참고 자료를 조금 더 축적한 이후 이 자료들을 가지고 나만의 책을 한번 만들어보고 싶다는 생각이 든다. 판매 목적이 아닌 내 스스로 만들어나간 역사 그 흔적을 남기기 위해서......
(I planned cost-effective travel so my situation isn't good, had looked around 4 ball parks where I have never gone this time and could worthily look tourist attractions as my idea. After going back from travel, I can't know sure cause whether weak strength gets lower and I couldn't adjust jet leg so I had gone all the eastern and central and western area of US within short time or my health got worse pretty much, I've been sick as frequently going in and out of hospital. But the reason that has no regret about this travel is what had never been sick in middle that time at all, I thought coming back here by itself gave any more stresses to me, I feel this is more reasonable cause.
As I did so, I'm going to write dividing to the part of sightseeing and MLB ball parks and baseball and ending story, I've thought I would like to make only my book for using these materials after I all go to 30 ball parks(including cities) and accumulate more reference materials. For leaving trace of the history that I have been creating by myself not purpose of sale......)
7. [2018 MLB TOUR(7)] 시티 바이 더 베이, 샌프란시스코 - 피어 39 & 피셔맨스 와프 외 (San Francisco, The city by the bay - Pier 39 & Fisherman's Wharf & etc)

작년 4월에 이어 두번째로 찾은 샌프란시스코... 내가 가장 사랑하는 도시이자 아름다운 자연 환경과 인공적인 구조물 그리고 실리콘 밸리로 유명한 도시로 일부러 샌프란시스코를 스탑오버 장소로 결정하여 한국으로 돌아오기 전 이렇게 하루를 지냈다. 더 오래 있으면 좋았겠지만 샌프란시스코 자이언츠도 어웨이 게임을 하는 기간이었고, 여행 경비 절감상 하루만 들르기로 했다. 어차피 또 가게 될 것이니까...... 샌프란시스코는 진짜 기회가 되는 한 이런 식으로라도 수시로 들를 거 같은 생각이 든다.
(San Francisco gone in the second after April last year... It's a city where I love the most, beautiful natural environment and artificial structure, famous for Silicon Valley, I decided to stopover place for San Francisco on purpose and visited one day like this before going back to my country. I'd like to visit longer, but San Francisco was playing away games, I decided to stop by it only a day for saving travel's expenses. In any case, I'll go here again...... I think I frequently stop by San Francisco as much as possible.)

이 날 45번 부두 쪽에서 제 2차 세계대전에 대한 전시회가 있었던 모양이다. '제레미 오브라이언' 이라는 선박이 그 때 사용되었던 듯 하고, 바로 옆쪽 건물에서 전시회를 하고 있었으나, 사실 전쟁에 대해서는 별로 관심이 없어서 이렇게 외부만 돌고 피셔맨스 와프로 이동했다. 친구가 샌프란시스코를 처음 방문했기도 하고, 나 같은 경우 가본 곳이기는 해도 꼼꼼히 다 보지는 못한 것 같아 가장 기본적인 코스만 돌기로 한 것이었다.
원래 동선을 매리타임 국립공원과 기라델리 스퀘어부터 시작하여 피셔맨스 와프, 피어 39 이렇게 가려고 했는데 의도치 않게 버스 정류장 근처부터 돌아다니기 시작했다.
(It had a exhibition about World War Ⅱ at 45 Pier in this day. It seemed vessel 'Jeremiah O'brian' was used then, had been a exhibition inside just the next building, but I looked only outside like this and moved to Fisherman's Wharf so I'm not interested in war. My friend had visited in San Francisco at first time, it decided to look around the most basic course cause I didn't look all spaces in detail even though I have been here.
At the first, I thought we go a way from Maritime National Historical Park and Ghirardelli Square to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, we unintentionally started to walk near but stop.)

지난 번 이곳을 지날 때는 그냥 보트들만 평온하게 자리잡고 있었는데 이번에는 어느 보트 한 곳에서 한 남자가 생선을 판매하기 위해 생선 손질을 하고, 그 와중에 남은 내장과 약간의 생선 조각을 바다에 던지고 있었다. 처음에는 그걸 왜 바다에 던지는지 영문을 알지 못했으나, 자세히 보니 옆쪽에서 갈매기가 꺄악꺄악 거리고, 바다 사자 2마리가 간절하게 콩고물이 떨어지길 기다리고 있었는데 그 모습이 어찌나 귀엽던지 한참 웃었던 것 같다.
(When I passed through this street last time, it simply anchored only boats, a guy was dressing some fish for selling fishes in one boat and throwing away extra entrails and piece of fish to ocean in the process in this time. I couldn't know why was he throwing them to ocean at first, but gulls cried in the next and 2 sea lions were eagerly waiting for getting the crumbs, I laughed for a time what a cute.)

다크 초콜릿의 풍미와 함께 많이 달지 않은 기라델리 초콜릿을 사기 위해 이 곳에 잠시 들렀다. 시카고에도 기라델리 매장이 있어서 샀었는데 가격도 저렴하고 웬지 부족한 느낌이 들어 여기와서도 조금 더 산 것이었다. 식도염에 초콜릿, 특히 다크 초콜릿이 안좋다고 해서(위산 과다 분비) 잘 먹지 못하고 있는 것이 슬플 뿐, 내 소화기관만 괜찮았으면 이미 다 먹었을 것이다. 스위스산 린츠 초콜릿도 맛있는데 기라델리 초콜릿도 정말 맛있다.
기라델리 스퀘어 바로 앞에 있는 매리타임 국립 역사공원에는 해변과 작게 조성된 공원 그리고 비지터 센터, 해양 박물관, 해양 연구센터 등이 있고, 입구 쪽에 하이드 스트리트를 가로지르는 케이블카 정류소가 위치해있다.
{I had stopped by here for purchasing Ghirardelli Chocolates which don't sweet a lot with flavor of dark chocolate for a minute. I bought it so there is a Ghirardelli Store in Chicago, I should buy a little more ones here cause I had felt lacking something. It's just sad I am not eating it now because I heard chocolate, especially dark chocolate isn't good to esophagitis(hyperacidity), I would already eat all things if only my digestive organs is good. Lindor of Swiss tastes good, Ghirardelli chocolate tastes really good.
There are beach, small park, visitor center, Maritime Museum, Maritime Research Center, etc in San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park in front of Ghirardelli Square, it locates cablecar's stop crossing Hyde Street at the entrance of the park.)

이 곳에 오면 항상 기분이 편안하고 좋은 것 같다. 바다를 좋아해서 그런 것도 있지만 그냥 아기자기한 느낌과 함께 볼거리들 또한 많아서 몇 번을 갔는데도 전혀 질리지 않는다. 게다가 작년에는 이 안까지 들어가보지 않아서 갈 필요성도 있었고 말이다.
(I think I am always comfortable and happy if I come here. I like ocean, but it doesn't feel boring at all cause there are also a lot of attractions with cute feeling even though I have already visited a few times. Besides I have needs going here so I didn't enter to deep place.)

원래 쇼핑을 잘 안하는 스타일인데 친구 따라서 과일도 보고, 잠깐 이런저런 기념품들도 구경한 것 같다. 그 와중에 부자가 되기 위한 바람으로 100달러짜리 대형 돈 모형도 구입했다. 😂😂😂
물론 세상에는 돈보다 더 중요한 게 많다고 생각하지만 그래도 기본적인 생활을 할 수 있는 돈은 필요하기 때문에 아예 무시할 수는 없는 것 같다. 만약 로또 1등에 당첨된다면, 미국이나 캐나다에 가서 어학 연수 코스를 밟은 후 다시 대학교에 입학할 생각이고, 졸업 후에 그 곳에서 일을 하며 메이저리그 야구를 보러 다니고 싶다. 직업을 가지고 난 후에는 더 본격적으로 기부하고, 동물 친구들을 위해 봉사 활동도 하러 다니고 말이다.
허무맹랑한 꿈이라는 건 알지만 뭔가 내 인생을 다시 시작하고 싶은 마음이 간절한 것이 이 곳은 나와 맞지 않는 것 같아서다. 집안 형편상 경제 활동을 본격적으로 하며 해외 여행을 가기 시작한 것이라 너무 늦은 나이에 내가 뭔가 잘못된 길을 가고 있었다는 걸 깨달았다. 성격, 성향, 가치관, 재능 모두 현실적으로 이 곳에서 발휘하기는 너무 어려운 일이니 말이다.
(I don't often do shopping, but I looked some fruits and souvenirs to follow my friend. I bought a board of $100 money for wishing to become rich person then. 😂😂😂
Of course, I think there are more important things than money, but I think I can't almost ignore due to money for living. If I win the first place of the lottery, I'd like to enter a University again after passing language training's course in US or Canada, I want to work and go watching MLB there after graduation. I donate some money in earnest and volunteer for animal friends then.
I know it is absurd dream well, however the reason that I want to have the second chance for starting my life again is what it doesn't match with this place. Due to my family's economy situation, I work in earnest and started to go travel overseas, so I realized I've been gone to wrong way in old age. It isn't so easy thing that I actually demonstrate something works to consider all my character and style and values and talents here.)
[바다 사자들 거주지 (Sea lions Bay view)]
작년에 이 바다 사자들을 보고 오는 것을 깜빡해서 이번 기회에 보고 왔다. 난 왜 샌프란시스코 자이언츠의 마스코트가 '루 씰' 이라는 이름을 가진 바다 사자인가 했는데 그 이유를 이때서야 알 수 있었다. 처음에는 이 동물이 물개인 것으로 알고 있었으나, 검색해보니 전체적으로 물개과는 맞아도 정확히는 바다 사자라고 한다. 물개는 실제 지면을 앞다리로 걸을 수 있어야 하나, 이 아이들의 경우는 걷지 못하고 다리를 끌고 다닐 뿐이다.
게다가 거의 대부분이 낮잠을 자고 있었음에도 불구하고 엄청난 울음 소리가 들리기도 했다. 깨어있던 애들이 많지도 않았는데 생각 외로 성량이 좋은지 정말 진기한 경험이었다. 게다가 용모가 뭔가 귀엽지 않은가!
(I forgot to see sea lions last year, watched this time. I've thought why mascot of San Francisco was a sea lion called "Lou Seal", I could finally know the reason. At the first, I've known this animal is seal, to search, though seal is right, it is exactly sea lion. Seal has to be able to walk by foreleg on the platland, but this animals don't walk and do go to pull by leg.
Besides though almost ones were sleeping, I could hear big crying. There weren't many sea lions that had been woke up, it was really quaint experience whether they have a full voice. And isn't their's appearance cute?!)
[골든 게이트 브릿지 (Golden Gate Bridge)]
이 날의 마지막 코스가 골든 게이트 브릿지였는데 안개 도시답게 안개가 너무 자욱하게 끼어서 그 모습을 제대로 볼 수가 없었다. 작년에는 좋은 날씨에서 사진을 찍어서 저렇게 멋진 결과물이 나왔으나, 이번에는 저 안개로 인해 저렇게 전혀 다른 분위기의 모습이 연출될 수 있다는 게 놀랍기도 하고 안타깝기도 했다. 나야 작년에 제대로 봐서 괜찮지만 친구는 처음이었는데 날씨가 이렇게 도와주지 않다니... 게다가 피어 39쪽은 날씨가 좋았는데도 말이다.
그래서 샌프란시스코 일정의 마지막은 다소 싱겁게 마무리 되었다. 이런 것을 보면 사람에게 운이라는 게 있기 때문에 어떤 장소로 여행을 갈 때 하루만 머무는 것은 그닥 좋아보이지 않는 듯 싶다.
이 글을 마지막으로 관광에 대한 글은 끝났다. 글을 완성하기 이전에는 부담감이 없지 않은데 이렇게 한 챕터를 마무리하니 뭔가 또 한 단계 발전하고 있는 것 같다는 생각이 든다. 다시 야구장 투어와 경기에 대한 글을 쓰기는 해야겠지만 일단 한 숨 돌린 기분이다.
(The final course was Golden Gate Bridge, we couldn't look the scenery well as fog city so it was foggy a lot. it was wonderful output like that cause I had taken photography in good weather last year, I'm surprised and regrettable that view of pretty other atmosphere like that due to that fog this time. I was all right so I saw it well last year, but my friend came to San Francisco at first time, why didn't weather help like this... Besides it was good weather at Pier 39.
So the last schedule of San Francisco was finished at a single cast. I have burden before I finish a writing, I think I am progressing something one step again if I finish one chapter like this. I'll write about ball park tours and baseball game again, once I feel to take a breather.)
